Above and beyond pet care in Golden
I’ve been dog walking and dog sitting for nearly two decades. I’m comfortable with any breed, young and young at heart, and any size. Two years ago, I decided to get my own black lab mix named Gideon who is great with other dogs. I’m here to help keep your pup company if you have to travel or a standard work day. I work from home and live a 10 minute walking distance to Green Mountain trailhead. Gideon and I would love the extra company!

Alexandra was excellent! I knew from the minute I met her with her bubbly personality that my dog would have a great day. She took photos, he played with her dog and they went for a hike. Great day for my dog during doggie daycare. I will use her again.

Alex has taken great care of Koda on several day this past week! She's communicative and flexible and Koda really likes her dog Gideon as well.
Alex has been very communicative and took great care of Koda. I think her and Gideon also got along well so I'm glad Koda had a playmate too! We will definitely be re-booking!
Alex was so good to our guy while we were out of town for a week! He can be a bit wild as we’ve had some scares in the past with him eating things like socks etc. Alex kept our home clean so he was safe, kept us updated which we loved and I’m sure Ralph had a blast playing with her pup Gideon. Thank you again Alex!!
Alex was great! She took excellent care of our pup while we were out of town, and her dog got along great with ours. Would recommend her for sure!

Schedule
I work from home M-F and take my dog out x3 times a day. We also go on hikes on the weekends or after work if it’s not too hot. My place has a balcony which is Gideon’s favorite past time just watching the people and critters that go by in the fresh foothills air.

Safety, trust & environment
For boarding, your pup is welcome to stay at my place and can sleep on the couch or spare dog bed. I have toys and interactive puzzles to keep my pup stimulated and Gideon is happy to share. When I have dog sat in the past, I would usually go to the pup’s home so they were most comfortable bringing everything I need for myself and learning their routine. For boarding, I like to have a walk through or at least a conversation about boundaries and what’s comfortable for everyone. Know that your pup will get quality care.
