About: I am able to care for both dogs and cats, and I have ample experience with both. I have a cat of my own, and I have experience with dogs from growing up with a dog (small breed) and from living with our current family dog (mid sized breed). I have been entrusted by neighbors and family friends in the past to pet sit their dogs while out of town, including responsibilities such as feeding, watering, walking, and providing lots of love. I also have experience pet sitting cats for a friend, in which I was relied on for feeding, watering, playing, and of course sending pictures to "mom" who was missing her babies. This Summer I will be working part-time, so I will have ample availability to take on dog/cat walking or sitting roles. I am happy to take on shifts at whatever time works best for your schedule, given my availability, whether that be an early morning walk for your pup or a mid-day check-in. I enjoy taking long walks and believe that happy and healthy dogs need them to live their best life. I prefer walking dogs with harnesses, rather than collars, for added security, especially if they are the type to pull against the leash. I also prefer walking on quiet roads or greenways for the safety of both myself and your pup. I am happy to walk throughout your neighborhood or drive to a nearby location if needed. I grew up with Huskies and German Shepherds for most of my life, which gave me hands-on experience with larger breeds and their unique needs. I currently have a 3-year-old Catahoula/Cattle Dog mix named Costello, who keeps me active and continues to teach me even more about the joy and personality that every dog brings. I work full-time as a Fire Alarm Technician, which has helped me develop a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors hiking, climbing, and camping, as well as enjoying live concerts. I’m a homebody at heart and take pride in keeping a clean, comfortable, and welcoming space. I enjoy creating a calm environment where pets can feel safe, relaxed, and cared for. I believe someone’s home is their sanctuary and a place where they should always feel comfortable and at peace. About: Our family loved dogs growing up, so we always had at least one or two dogs (and cats) for as long as I can remember. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I love spending time with dogs, getting outside, and being active, so dog walking is the perfect fit for me. I completely understand the importance of erring on the side of caution around other dogs when needed and adjusting the walk to best fit your dog’s needs. I work remotely, so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule and would love to make dog walks part of my daily routine. On weekdays, I’m available for walks as early as 6:00–6:30 AM, potentially around midday depending on the walk length, and I’m very flexible between 2:00–9:00 PM. My weekend availability varies, but I'd be happy to coordinate with you. You can expect prompt responses and great communication. I'm more than happy to follow any specific instructions or preferences to make your dog as comfortable as possible. I'll adjust to whatever your dog needs, and I'm reliable and punctual.
