About: I have 20 years of experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs. I am honest and deeply care for pets of all kinds. Whether that be medicine administration, end of life transition resources and assistance with physical limitations, I have you covered! I am actively looking for work and will update this piece once something comes along. Cross your fingers my friends! Trust is a huge priority for me. I was let down by a sitter years ago and I will not be the cause for pain and stress for any pet parent I have the opportunity to support. About: New user! Willing to walk your dog for free first couple times for reviews! I have had a dog for 9 years of my life. After she passed, I started working as a seasonal kennel technician and day care specialist at a local pet resort. I worked there in college seasonally from June 2022 to June 2025. I also occasionally dog sit for friends and dog walk. I am currently working part time so I have lots of time but will need to plan ahead depending on my work schedule for the week. In clients homes I prepare on taking care of pets however I am asked, following specific instructions whether it is a dog walk or a drop in visit and be respectful of the clients wishes.
About: I’ve grown up with large dogs my whole life and watched them on multiple occasions. The dogs I have worked with range from small to large. I am looking to save and make extra cash before getting back into college! I am currently not working and on a break from school. My entire week is open for anything you need! I like to keep my weekend open but am more than happy to work them! I have two large dogs in my home! And a fenced in yard, a pool, and plenty of space to run and jump all around!

About: I’ve been watching my neighbors’ animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and love them dearly and I currently have two cats of my own! Animals are my safe space and I love spoiling them! I currently have two cats, so I obviously give them love and take care of them everyday! I am in school, but do it all online so I am very flexible with my schedule and availability for your pets! I’ll always make sure your animal is comfortable with the way I am interacting with them and never push their limits. For cats - if they aren’t keen on humans, I won’t bother them. If they love attention and to play, I’ll be waving a little wand around immediately to get some of their energy out and giving them lots of love. For dogs - I will make sure they are comfortable and walked, and have gone out enough. I can take them to parks and play, or keep them separate from other animals depending on their personality!
About: As a barista I make it a priority to learn my regulars pets names. When making small talk, I tend to lean towards talking about their pets (and mine:) I just moved to the big D-E-Nver! I'm working a few shifts a week as a barista and other than that, I'm free to hang out with your fluffy friends! There is no better way to explore a new city than with a new best friend by my side! Daily photos/videos of our adventures is a must. Stick to the routine that is provided and give endless love and attention to your beloved baby!!
“We love Mariah! She walked my pup during my travel nursing contract in Denver and took great care of her! She always provided thorough updates and lots of photos/videos.”

“We have been using Bryonna to walk our pup for 30min/day during the work week and it has been the BEST DECISION EVER. It's so nice knowing she is checking on our baby each day and giving her a break from the crate! She sends us cute pictures and takes our pup to neighborhood dog park! It's apparent how much she loves animals! Communication is a breeze and she is great at accommodating our house routine.”

About: I’m Lily! I am not new to pet care but I am new to Rover, and I am super available to help look after your pups! I grew up with dogs in my home state of North Carolina and have been pet sitting for my neighbors since I was a kid. I’ve had dogs in my care of all breeds, personalities, and sizes. I am a natural animal lover and currently live with a rescue dog. Since moving here after I graduated college, I’ve been a reliable sitter for several contacts in Denver, but all have since moved states, encouraging me to look elsewhere for those who need strong pet care. The dogs in my life have all been my best friends and I can’t wait to make new ones! 🐾♥️ I am currently free on most days for pet care! I am in between day jobs so I have plenty of time and flexibility to watch your pups, especially during the week days. I make sure that all pets are comfortable with me by giving them any space or attention that they seem to require. I also ensure that they are fed on schedule, always have access to water, have proper enclosures, access to outside bathroom usage, and plenty of exercise. I’ll also take in mail, water plants, any other small homecare acts you might need. Most importantly, I’ll make sure your babies get allll the pets and love they deserve. Your pet and me will be very good friends and you can trust I will prioritize their comfort and needs!

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I grew up in a pet-loving household with everything from birds to dogs, and that early experience turned into paid pet sitting, dog walking, and cat care for friends, family, and repeat clients. I’ve cared for around a dozen pets across a wide range of sizes, breeds, and personalities—from small dogs with specific feeding and care routines to large, energetic dogs who need structured exercise and engagement. I also have experience with puppies, senior pets, and cats, and I’m comfortable managing multiple pets at once. I’ve handled common behavioral challenges such as leash pulling, barking, and reactivity using consistent routines, positive reinforcement, and calm redirection. I aim to support not just the pet, but also the owner, by maintaining structure and offering helpful observations when appropriate. My care style is attentive, patient, and active. I love getting dogs outside for safe, enriching exercise—whether that’s neighborhood walks, park visits, or time in dog-friendly open spaces around Denver. I’m equally happy providing calm companionship for pets who prefer a quieter pace. I’m experienced with feeding schedules, special diets, and detailed care instructions. While I have limited experience administering medication, I’m comfortable doing so for cooperative pets and always follow instructions carefully. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and overnight house sitting, and I’m flexible with scheduling. Communication is important to me—I’m happy to send regular updates, photos, and notes so you always feel connected and confident while you’re away. As a high school biology teacher, I bring a thoughtful, observant, and responsible approach to animal care. Above all, I genuinely enjoy building trust with each pet and getting to know their unique personality—it’s one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. I’m currently on summer break from my work as a high school biology teacher, which gives me a flexible and consistent schedule for pet care throughout the week. I’m able to plan my days around walks, drop-in visits, and check-ins, and I enjoy building a routine that keeps pets active, engaged, and well cared for. I typically structure my day to include morning, midday, and evening availability, which allows me to accommodate feeding schedules, regular walks, and quality time with your pet. Whether it’s starting the day with a walk, stopping by for a midday visit, or providing evening care and companionship, I make sure each visit is attentive and unrushed. Pet care fits naturally into my daily life—I enjoy being outdoors, staying active, and spending time with animals, so incorporating walks, playtime, and visits is something I genuinely look forward to. Because of my flexible schedule, I’m also able to adjust to your pet’s specific needs and routine, whether that means multiple visits per day or extended stays. When I provide dog walking or pet sitting in your home, my first priority is keeping your pet safe, comfortable, and on their normal routine. I follow your instructions closely for feeding, exercise, medication (if needed), and any special care requirements, and I treat your home and pets with the same respect I would my own. For dog walks, I start by checking in with your dog—how they’re feeling, their energy level, and any signs of stress or discomfort. I use secure, well-fitted gear (harness/collar and leash), bring water and waste bags, and choose calm, safe routes suited to your dog’s needs and expectations. I keep dogs on-leash unless we’ve agreed on a secure, off-leash area, and I always remain fully attentive to traffic, other animals, and the environment. I expect off-leash dogs to have strong recall to verbal commands and can work on developing this skill with your animal. For pet sitting and drop-in visits, I: • Feed and provide fresh water according to your schedule • Take dogs out for walks or toileting as needed • Clean litter boxes, cages, or toileting areas • Provide companionship, playtime, and enrichment • Do a quick safety check of the home (doors, windows, gates, hazards) before leaving • If I am staying overnight: Keep your home tidy—washing dishes, taking out trash, and leaving things as I found them I’m comfortable staying overnight in your home for house sitting, and I follow all house rules and expectations. I keep your keys secure, ensure the home is locked when I leave, and maintain clear communication with you through regular updates and photos. Above all, I aim to make your pet’s time in your own home as stress-free and happy as possible, so you can relax knowing they’re well cared for.
“Jeff’s communication has been great! It’s reassuring knowing our senior girl is in good hands while we’re at work. Jeff definitely cares about the animals, and we get great photo updates! We really appreciate the reliability, would definitely recommend:)”

“I highly recommend Amy for any pet care needs that you may have. She was incredibly communicative and on top of everything. She seems very trustworthy and reliable. I will definitely be using her again to help care for my dog.”

“Madison does a wonderful job walking my pup! She’s so timely and responsive and gives a nice and detailed report on their walks. It is such a relief to know my pup is taken care of and given some attention midway through a long work day away from home!”

About: I am now living in Minneapolis and love my time here. I have had dogs for most of my life. I love having them around to play with. I have been a house and pet sitter for about four years and have a couple of regular people. I am looking to expand what I am doing to include dog walking. I work in the emergency management field and know how to work with animals in stressful situations for those that think their pets may be difficult. When I lived in Colorado, I took care of two dogs for an owner who believed one of her dogs was challenging and took time for him to get used to new people (and that was if he liked them in the first place). He and I got along from my first visit. During the first visit, she was surprised that he came and sat next to me after about 15 minutes. I work Monday to Friday from 8 AM - 4:30 PM. I make sure your pets go out before I leave for work and they are my priority once my work day has ended. I am happy to stay at your place if wanted. This can make things easier and less stressful for your pet. I am willing to work with you if there is some other situation you are looking for.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Auraria
Rachel was attentive and receptive to my two dogs with my busy work schedule. I had an unexpected change in schedule due to illness and she was responsive and understanding. It was also really hot weather outside, and she knew the queues with my dogs to not press them too much, in that heat. Happy to have had her as a sitter.
Emily is a constant joy to work with! She takes such good care of Tucker on his walks. She is always communicative, which is a must! Plus that lets me know that she values our time. She also gives very thorough report cards. You cannot go wrong having her walk/care for your fur baby!

Amanda was fantastic with Zoey! She was prompt, reliable, and excellent about sending photo updates, which made it easy to know Zoey was in good hands. She consistently gave the full booked walk time, and Zoey seemed to absolutely adore her. Highly recommend Amanda to anyone looking for a dependable, caring dog walker, we will definitely be booking again!

Davis has walked my dog multiple times now and he is the best! Spuds is leash reactive, and Davis goes above and beyond taking care of him when walking. Spuds gets so excited to see Davis, and we couldn’t be more thankful for him. Thank you Davis for taking such great care of Spuds!

Michaelah is wonderful. I’ve been using her as a sitter and walker for years and she’s always been professional, trustworthy, reliable and treated my dog like family. My dog is always thrilled to see her and super calm and happy after her visits. I can’t recommend her enough.
