About: I have been working with dogs, cats, and all other types of animals for my entire life! Professionally I have been pet sitting for years but I have worked at a dog daycare facility just recently for about a year as well. Animals have always been one of my greatest passions and sources of joy. I have an intense love for all kinds of animals, but specifically those who may face behavioral issues (anxiety, reactivity, excitability.) I am not a certified or professional trainer but my own excitable dog, my experience with strays, at the daycare, feral cats, and other personal dogs with difficulties, has taught me a number of ways to help shape the behavior of pets who may struggle with certain behaviors or emotions and bring them peace of mind. I try my best to implement easy training during my walks or stays with your pet in order to benefit you and your baby and provide them with some positive mental stimulation :) I have a large amount of experience with cats of all personalities and a variety of backgrounds! Up until recently, I lived with 4 cats with vastly different personalities and was a go-to personal sitter for a cat with behavioral issues who I adore. I have lifelong experience with cats both feral and domesticated, I played with and cared for my grandmother's many indoor cats and outdoor feral cats from a young age. I could never blame a pet for the way they may act, and I understand how cat body language is not the same as a dog's and must be monitored differently as well as how a cats backround may affect their personality. As a personally highly anxious and paranoid pet mom myself, who worries constantly over the safety and care of my pets while in the hands of someone else, I promise to do everything possible to ensure the safety, happiness, and proper care of your baby while in my care, as I would my own. I start my day waking up next to my dogs, and put intense care into my dogs and cats needs from that moment forward. I put constant research into their behavior and diets to ensure a healthy gut, skin and coat alongside a long happy life and happy mind. Not every dog parent is perfect and no one should be shamed, but I aim to be the best I can be and improve everyday! I will care for your pet as if they are my own! Every pet is similar to a human baby to me, not every one is the same and parents always know best so I will look to you for guidance as to how you wish me to care for your loved one.

About: I grew up with pets all around me, and have now had my very own girl, Murphy, for 3 years. I raised her from 8 weeks and she is a sweet, healthy, happy girl! The only thing she wants is more friends! Murphy loves other dogs and her friends regularly come stay at our house when their parents are out of town. She adores every new rover friend she makes, and I’m sure she can’t wait to meet your pup! I work from home full time and am with Murphy almost all the time. I let her take me on walks every day, and I bring her along with me on any errands she can do, as I walk almost everywhere I go. Your sweet pup will have all of the same privileges at my house! At my house, your pup will almost never be out of eyesight or earshot. The apartment isn’t huge, but there is room enough for your pup to play with Murphy or for both of them to relax separately, if that’s what’s needed. We live in Cap Hill so there are plenty of great sights and smells on our walks, as well as several nearby dog parks that we love to visit. We live on the first floor which makes it easy for late night potty breaks without having to go too far. Murphy sleeps on my bed with me and snuggles on the couch with me and, as long as you’re okay with it and they want to, so will your pup!

“Jordan was so kind and communicative! She walked my dog and was able to really lift his spirits while I was away. I got lots of pictures of him and felt that he was in great hands! I would truly recommend Jordan as a Rover to anyone!”

About: Hi! My name is Benette. I’m the owner of Aunt Bee’s Home Care. I’ve been in business since 2020 and absolutely love it! The service I provide always includes your pet being treated as if they’re my own, and part of the family. Walks are my favorite part of my time spent with your loved ones. I enjoy good exercise and sunshine. Thank you for your consideration! I’m running a pet care business and have two locations. I enjoy being able to offer them individual care for high energy, or low energy animals. I can also accommodate a couple of dogs and provide them with plenty of space to run free, walks, fetch, and TLC. I have a fence in my backyard, and dog door is located on the exterior of the house. Second location is minutes away offers a beautiful courtyard. I provide a safe place for them to run around and play. Available pet cam/treat dispenser for you to communicate with your fur baby’s while away.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was ten years old, and I absolutely love their company! I love caring for pets of all ages; our sweet rescue passed away a year ago, who we took in during her golden years, and now my wife and I have a 2.5 year old pup with an abundance of youthful energy. O she loves making new friends, and we would love to have some more dog time ourselves! We go on regular walks, play in the dog park at least once a day, and can handle any dietary, medical, or other type of need your little one has. I’m a paraprofessional; so I have summers off. I work freelance and gig jobs, which I mostly do from home and am used to scheduling around a dog care routine, as we have our own dog at home. I have a fenced yard, and our own dog to keep yours company! I have no issues following any boundaries you’d like me to follow with your pet: I’m happy to crate them when they need time to relax, keep them on or off leash as you prefer, and make sure they’re provided stimulation, play, and opportunities to earn treats!

“He’s so calm and gentle even with my wild and crazy pups”

About: I am only available work 11 am to 5 pm. I worked in a shelter and helped out a little with the dogs and have had pets my whole life. I get along very well with animals, including very shy animals. I'm a freelance artist with a very free schedule and I can drop in anytime that you may need me to be there. I understand the regularity of a pet's schedule is very important! I can crate a pet if needed and am very careful with an animal's boundaries to insure safety and comfort for your pet and myself.

“Amanda went above and beyond to make my super anxious dog feel comfortable! She was incredibly patient and accommodating to the challenges, making sure to put my pup at ease. By day 3 they were the best of friends. Highly recommend her as a dog walker and caretaker!”

About: I’ve been surrounded by pets my entire life - cats from childhood through early adulthood, and dogs ever since I convinced my parents to let me get a puppy in 5th grade (best day ever!!). I’ve always treated my pets like family because that’s exactly what they are! Animals bring me endless joy and I love returning the favor by giving them the best care possible while their humans are away. Currently, I have a 1.5 year old Australian Shepard mix named Frankie who is full of energy and love. Because of him, I am well-versed in caring for pups who require a bit more activity and attention. If your dog likes to socialize, Frankie would love to tag along for walks or play dates! I’ll care for your fur baby as if they are my own and will be sure to share plenty of pictures and updates because I LIVE for those updates when I’m away from Frankie! My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved and spoiled while you’re away! I can’t wait to meet you and your fur baby! 💛🐶🐱🐾 I currently work fully remote so I have a lot of flexibility for drop-ins, walks and overnight care on the weekdays. My weekends are also very flexible! I currently live in a very dog friendly apartment with plenty of outdoor space. Although I do not have a yard of my own, I live just a short walk from Washington Park and would love to take your fur baby on one of my daily strolls. Because I have a puppy of my own, my apartment is very much puppy-proofed and tidy. I am also happy to spend time with your pet in your home and will keep your place as clean and tidy as I would my own!

About: Hi there, my name is Mike. I have a 6 month old Golden Mountain Dog named Tizer. I grew up around Goldens (Shadow, Clancy, Dakota, Crosby; 50-80lbs) and have had them around my whole life. I frequently watch Doodles (Obie & Milo; 60-80lbs) and until recently had a Black Mouth Cur (Baby Z, Zander; 75lbs) living with me part-time for about 4 years. Im a lover of all things dog. I live in one of the best walking neighborhoods in the city. I would love to take your dog on a walk for some sniffs in the park or on a weekend hike. I frequently pet sit for friends and coworkers so Rover is a natural fit for me. I look forward to meeting you and your BFF. *NOTE* I'm now offering Bath services. I can wash and dry your dog (in a professional dog bath station) for a fee during their stay. I do *require that owners provide soap however to avoid any allergies or complications. I charge a $40 base rate and may adjust the price based on dog size, this can be agreed upon ahead of time. I work full-time from home with the occasional visit to the office, which is less than 5 minutes away. My schedule is generally very flexible, I do most of my work from my phone. I enjoy getting up early so there's always time for a walk before work. I live in an apartment in a quiet and safe neighborhood. I live on the 5th floor with giant windows overlooking trees that dogs love to look out. The roof above me does have a dog yard although I dont use it much as I prefer to just walk the neighborhood. My building does have a dog run so if your dog loves to play fetch we dont have to leave the property. There are 2 parks within 2 blocks and Wash Park is about a 20 minute walk. My unit is the largest unit in the building, its meant for 2 people but I live alone. While a home might be ideal I find my place is plenty big enough for a big dog, I have an open floor plan and keep balls to throw and toys to play with in the living room. I do not drink and I dont "go out" or party. So on the weekends Im likely spending much more time with your dog than other sitters (and taking them out earlier first thing in the morning).
