“Ayla was so wonderful! My dog is older and blind, and we came from out of town. Ayla was so good with my dog, he loved her! She was very communicative, flexible, and gave lots of picture updates which I appreciate. I highly recommend her to watch your fur baby!!”

About: I work from home 85% of the time, I have a backyard, I love to take dogs for walks, and have a ton of patience for noisy babies. I don’t have any of my own so this is how I get my fix :D Rover is the best gift I’ve ever given myself! I will enthusiastically accept your booking request if I’m available. Happy to take bully breeds! Since I work from home a majority of the week I’m available for potty breaks and to keep them company. On occasion I work in the evenings at music venues and may be gone for 3-5 hours. In my home dogs can free roam and they can be let outside often - force me to take more work breaks! I can provide a dog bed and water bowl. As long as pets are not destructive they would be allowed on the furniture and in the bed during overnights.
“Luke and Jordan are terrific! They have the sweetest golden to keep your dog company. They sent lots of photos and had great communication throughout. Highly recommended!”

“Brandon was great with my pup! Communicative, sent pics, played with toys, and took him for a nice walk during the few hours my dog spent there for doggy daycare.”

“Michelle was absolutely amazing. Thoughtful, kind lovin. Our pup was right at home with her. She is someone you can trust and count on when you need pet care. Not only did she save our butts for our anniversary but she also picked peyton up and dropper her off. Extremely thoughtful!”

“Robin was so friendly and helpful with our first time on Rover and our separation-anxiety doggo. We're happy we found her and will happily book with her again.”

About: Hello! My name is Megan, and I work from home full time for an international non-profit. I have been pet and house sitting for acquaintances for the past 9 years, and I am looking to expand my clientele. The pets I have cared for include dogs, cats, and chickens. My pup of 16 years had several medical conditions (chronic kidney disease, meningitis, and heart conditions), so I am comfortable and familiar with special needs animals, including medication provision, specific bathroom requirements, and subcutaneous fluids. I completely understand how important and difficult it can be to find someone you can trust with your pets, especially when they're geriatric or have medical concerns, and I promise to care for each pet with lots of love and accommodate their needs! My schedule is flexible, and I would love to host your pets whenever possible! I currently work from home Mondays - Fridays from 7am to 3pm. My schedule is flexible and I will be able to provide ongoing care throughout the day. Our house has a large back yard, and I live close to a Sloan’s Lake for daily walks. I can also easily crate your pets if I need to leave my home.
“Sophie was great with my dog! My dog was having stomach issues all day and Sophie was very accommodating and took her out every hour. She sent updates and pictures throughout the stay. My dog had a great time with her”

“My pup had an amazing time as always!! He had a tummy issue and Yvette let me know right away and checked in on him the next day ☺️☺️ she truly cares about his well being so much ❤️”

About: Hi! I’m an experienced and attentive pet sitter who truly treats every animal like my own. I’ve grown up caring for a full house of pets, including my 7-year-old Mini Aussie, Winston, my 5-year-old Border Collie/Shepherd mix, Wilbur, and three cats—Binx (who is a tripod), Salem (who has one blind eye), and Sadie. Because of this, I’m very comfortable caring for pets with special needs, senior pets, and animals with different personalities and energy levels. I regularly care for my friend’s senior Retriever who requires daily medication, short walks only, and extra assistance getting on and off the couch. This has given me hands-on experience with medication schedules, mobility support, and understanding senior pets’ limits while still keeping them comfortable and happy. I’ve trained all of my dogs since they were puppies, including basic obedience, leash manners, and positive reinforcement training, so I’m confident working with puppies as well as adult dogs. I pet sit regularly for friends and family and also have experience caring for cats, small mammals, reptiles, lizards, and snakes. I’m patient, gentle, and very observant, and I always pay close attention to each pet’s needs and behavior. I’m home most of the time while completing online college, which means your pet will receive plenty of attention, companionship, and supervision. I have a backyard for playtime and can provide walks every 1–2 hours if needed. I’m also happy to do dog park visits for social pups (with owner approval). Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities, and I work hard to make sure they feel loved, secure, and at home while you’re away. Pet care fits easily into my daily schedule because I attend college online and am home most of the day. This allows me to provide consistent supervision, frequent potty breaks, walks every 1–2 hours if needed, meals on schedule, medication administration, and plenty of playtime and affection. I plan my coursework around the pets in my care, so their routines always come first. Your pet will never be left alone for long and will receive lots of attention throughout the day. When caring for pets in my own home or in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as close to normal as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special care needs. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and mental stimulation while also respecting their limits—especially for seniors or pets with medical needs. In my home, pets have a safe, calm environment with access to a backyard, frequent potty breaks, regular walks, and lots of companionship since I’m home most of the day. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and ensure pets feel relaxed by maintaining familiar routines, playtime, and comfort. I provide regular updates and photos, monitor behavior and health closely, and always prioritize safety, cleanliness, and communication. My goal is for every pet to feel loved, cared for, and stress-free while their owner is away.
“Sara is great and very accommodating. She's attentive and caring. My apartment dog enjoys having an outdoor area and Sara takes her to the dog park and gets plenty of exercise.”

“Dianaliz was great with our puppy! He can be hesitant around new people, but she was patient and very sweet, made him feel comfortable, sent updates throughout the day, and it seemed like they had a great day together. Thank you!”

About: Hi! I'm Megan, a lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience caring for pups of all sizes and personalities. As a former dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. I’ve spent plenty of time walking, playing, feeding, and caring for dogs, and I enjoy every minute of it. My husband and I have a fenced in backyard and your dog will have lots of attention and time to play while in our care. Let me know how I can make your pet feel right at home while you're away and any special behaviors I should be aware of :) I currently work from home and my husband works 4 days a week in office. I take daily walks and will make sure they spend plenty of time exercising and resting! I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space for your dog to run around and relax outside. We will leave it up to your preference if you want them on the furniture :)
“This was the second time my pup stayed with Nell for doggie daycare. He was so excited to see her when we arrived that he ran inside her building and didn't look back. He was nice and tired that evening, so he must have had a great day.”

About: I’ve been around dog’s since early childhood. I can remember my mom’s dog when I was younger than 3 before our first adopted dog and cat when I was 4. I adopted my own dog at 23, and realized I wanted to take care of dogs for a living recently after losing her to cancer. Now I want to spend my time making dogs lives as calm and happy as possible because they mean the world to us, but we are the world to them. I am currently available full time to sit, board, and walk dogs. I am very accustomed to multiple dogs at a time at my house. My fenced in backyard is very large, tall, and secure, I don’t currently have any animals of my own so I can provide my full attention to your best buddy!
“WinterDawn is amazing with Sophie! She has been the best rover I’ve ever used! She sends pictures and video updates all day! My pup has separation anxiety and she was so amazing and accommodated to her needs. WinterDawn was great working with me since I have a crazy work schedule. Sophie had such a great time and came home happy and exhausted. Can’t recommend her enough”

Alamo Placita dog parents share their Rover experiences
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sophie did an amazing job taking care of my dog, Cute-ip! She was very attentive and kept me updated the whole time by sending lots of pictures, which I really appreciated. It was clear Cute-ip was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.

I can’t say enough good things about Walker and Daniel - Walker was so communicative and helpful with pick up and drop off. My dog usually has “I’m being kidnapped” look when we part ways but he was genuinely more excited to see her than me. They sent me lots of photos and have a wonderful dog of their own to play with your pup. 10/10 recommend

Dylan was very punctual and communicative. He understands dogs really well which is something I like about future opportunities with Dylan as a sitter. He knows how to work with all types of dogs. Athena is a scary dog especially in her own home so Dylan did a great job and he even turned on the tv for Athena.
