About: Just as no two people are alike, every animal needs tailored care and attention. Whether your pet is a puppy needing an active walk or a senior cat who prefers quiet companionship, my goal is to create a reliable environment where they feel safe and seen. I operate with a flexible daily schedule, making me available for consistent midday walks, last minute drop ins, or multi-visit vacation requests here in the LoHi/Highland area. I treat the process of meeting an animal for the first time with immense respect. During our initial meet & greet, I focus on establishing a baseline they can trust. My Experience: • Medical Care: Competent in administering various types of medications (oral, topical, etc). • All-Weather Walks: Ready to provide structured, safe exercise around your local neighborhood or parks. • Basic Grooming: Happy to assist with brushing, bathing, or wiping down paws. • Cats & Dogs: Grew up surrounded by both cats and dogs, giving me a deep understanding of their boundaries and body language. I look forward to meeting you and your pet to build a lasting routine they can count on. I have a flexible schedule and can visit your home during the day or night. Let me know what you need, and we can work something out. My priority is to maintain a secure environment by respecting your household rules and adhering to your specific instructions. I actively monitor your pet’s emotional cues and body language, finding natural moments to gain their trust, whether through play or calm moments. For pets requiring extra attention, such as aging seniors, anxious rescues, or pets recovering from illness, I ensure their care is meticulous and empathetic. I accommodate slow walks, frequent bathroom breaks, and specific medication schedules. As a lifelong pet owner, I have navigated unexpected medical emergencies with both my own and other people's animals. In these moments, I act urgently, logically, and calmly. My Safety Commitments: • Door Darting: I always block the door frame with my body when entering or exiting to prevent door darting. • Gear Checks: I verify that all collars, harnesses, and leashes are properly fitted and secure before stepping outside. • Distraction-Free Walking: My phone is only used to log your Rover Card or take photos; my eyes remain on your dog and the surrounding environment. • Local Vet: I will verify your preferred vet location during our initial meet & greet. I look forward to meeting you and your pet and establishing a routine both of you can count on.
“Diego was fantastic with my puppy who is more reserved with new people- she really warmed up quickly! I felt reassured she and my cat were well taken care of in his care, and I loved the updates and pictures I received, while I was at work!”

“Rachel was wonderful with my dog and extra communicative. She took her time on each walk and made sure to include detailed updates after. I will definitely rebook with Rachel in the future”

“Jessica was awesome! She was prompt to answer my request for services. You could tell by the pictures she sent that my dog was happy to have her there!”

“Mary is a very reliable pet sitter. We have used her twice now and each time she has shown great care for our animals in addition to her professionalism, friendliness, and respect.”

About: I’ve had pets throughout my entire life. As a child I would care for my own pets as well if friends and family’s pets. As an adult I now have three pets of my own and one with my boyfriend. Currently I work as a lead/manager at a doggie daycare/boarding facility. My day to day at work includes administering medications, walking, feeding, and playing with dogs and cats. Playing with dogs/cats is one of my favorite things to do. Whether it’s taking them for a walk or playing with their favorite toys. If your pet(s) need any type of medication, I have experience administering medications to a multitude of different dogs.

“Haley is great! My dog can be a bit scared of new people and she took time to meet with him before. She walked him and sent pictures and it looks like they had a great day! Highly recommend!”

“Lauren has been excellent - flexible to schedule with on short notice and very communicative. I know my pup has loved each walk with her, and she’s been very understanding of any specific instructions I’ve shared.”

“Jackson was great with the dogs and did everything I requested and more! He was also able to make my last-minute walking request work with his schedule. Would recommend!”

“Samantha took great care of Poppy and we really appreciate her coming over and walking poppy, letting her run around outside and giving her treats”

“Ezra did a great job. My lab decided to eat a towel. Ezra worked with me and the vet transporting the animal and supporting on site..using FaceTime with us and the vet to choose a path. He was calm, extremely logical helping diagnose which of the dogs was the problem with great problem solving and flexibility. He went above and beyond. I’m very grateful for his support and highly recommend him!”

“Alexis comes to hang out with and walk my 3 month old pup, who can definitely be a handful! She is communicative, consistent, and absolutely wonderful with him. I feel completely comfortable trusting her with my puppy and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable and caring.”

“Katie came with a last minute's notice since I was sick. She is friendly and great with communication. She was even willing to separate my pup's walk from another client's since my pup can be leash aggressive at times. Kira (my dog) came back smiling ear to ear. Katie managed to get in 2.5 miles in an hour, so Kira got enough exercise to hold her over until I could walk her today.”

About: Hi there, my name is Sam and I really love pets. We currently have a brindle dog named Fern and a black cat named Hilda. I have always been a huge dog person. I am a firm believer that being around animals, especially our furbabies, improves peoples' mood and reduces stress. I take good care of pets while their fur-parents are gone by taking them on walks, giving them plenty of playtime and cuddles. I have 15 years of experience in dog walking and pet sitting, from my time in undergrad, grad school and the years between. The first dog I professionally walked was a golden retriever by the name of Buckley, and he was a hoot. I would walk to his owner's house in between undergrad classes and give him a 30 minute walk every day. Buckley was a fan of sticks and we would sit in the lawn as he chewed at his stick (sometimes branch) of the day. I am a reliable and caring sitter, who treats pets like my own (I really love dogs). I work from home most days, and journey into the office about one or two times a week. My work has a lot of flexibility! Your home: I do enjoy a meet and greet so I can spend time getting to know you, your pet and learn about their routine. Our home: We have a fenced in yard with plenty of things to sniff and toys to play fetch with. Our dog gets at least 2 walks a day. We also have blankets, beds, and a crate in storage if needed.
The median cost per walk for dog walking in Central West Denver is $20
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Central West Denver
Katie took great care of our 19 week old puppy Junie! We were nervous for Junie’s first time in someone else’s care, but Katie took all of those concerns away. Junie got a nice long walk and tons of playtime and attention. Katie is someone that really cares about animals and is very communicative as well. Thank you!
