I was able to send my husband home immediately, but Vera stayed until he was home. She truly cares about our fur babies and helped me stress less knowing he was not alone and somebody was with him until we could get home. Our baby was perfectly okay. About: I recently had to say goodbye to both of my dogs due to age-related issues, and I’m still adjusting to a quieter home and life without them. While I’m not ready to get another dog of my own just yet, I’d love the opportunity to care for yours while you’re away. I work from home when I’m not traveling internationally for work, which allows me to provide attentive and consistent care. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pets with someone new—I’ve had both wonderful and not-so-great experiences with sitters myself—so I truly value building trust and giving you peace of mind. I’m comfortable caring for: * Shy or slow-to-warm-up dogs * Reactive dogs * Dogs with medical needs, including administering medications and insulin My home has a fenced-in backyard, or I’m happy to house-sit if your pet is more comfortable staying in their own environment.
