About: I am only available work 11 am to 5 pm. I worked in a shelter and helped out a little with the dogs and have had pets my whole life. I get along very well with animals, including very shy animals. I'm a freelance artist with a very free schedule and I can drop in anytime that you may need me to be there. I understand the regularity of a pet's schedule is very important! I can crate a pet if needed and am very careful with an animal's boundaries to insure safety and comfort for your pet and myself.

“Sydney was wonderful and attuned to the needs to my dogs! She walked my two dogs several days while I was out of town. One of my dogs has a lot of anxiety. Sydney met them ahead of time and was amazing with the anxious one. He often hides from new people or stands a distance away and barks. Sydney sat down on the floor to help him feel more comfortable and let him approach her. By the time she left, he was letting her pet him (something he never does with people he’s only met once!) and offer him treats. When my other (lazy) dog decided he’d had enough of his walk, Sydney brought of them home and played with them! Sydney is very friendly and responds quickly to messages. My dogs both loved her! I would highly recommend her, especially with anxious:nervous dogs. Such a great experience! My dogs would love for me to go out of town again so they could go on walks with their new friend Sydney!”

About: I have lived with dogs my whole life and began dog sitting as soon as I could drive. Being around dogs brings me so much joy! I’ve dog sat for dogs of all ages including puppies and senior dogs with specific needs. I currently have a lot of free time to provide and love being outside and going for long walks. I currently have a lot of free time and can adjust my schedule to your pets needs. The most I would need to be away from your pet is for 3 hours while I am at a class that meets 3 times a week (9am-12pm on m, w, th). I live in an apartment that is right across from a large park and not far from a fenced in park. My apartment has an elevator and a balcony. Whether I am caring for your pet in my home or theirs I like to make their time as comfortable as possible by sticking to routines and limiting time they are left alone.
