Dog Walking Southeastern Denver

About: Since 2023, I have dogsat for two very large and energetic Golden Retrievers, two large Barbets, and a 16 year old Bichon. These experiences with various sizes, ages, and energy levels taught me to balance multiple pets at once, keep up with high energy dogs, and address health issues and medications. I also own a miniature dachshund rescue named Cookie who is very anxious and easily frightened, which has given me a lot of experience working with dogs with trauma and trouble trusting humans. I am not currently employed in Denver as I just graduated from Cal Poly in June. I have a lot of flexibility this summer and will not be starting classes again until September, so for these upcoming months I am very free! Once classes start, I am happy to continue sitting for established clients. My home: - 1/2 acre fenced yard with lots of room to run around and a spacious inside with hardwood floor. - Patio with umbrellas and shade - Patch of turf if preferred - Direct access to a walking path near Hoffman Park in Greenwood Village. - No other dogs in the home. All dogs in a new space will want to explore so I would monitor closely, but still allow them to sniff around and get used to the yard. Your home: I will read over all requirements (feeding time/amount, how long to stay, walks, etc) and text with any clarifying questions. In both my home and yours, I would love to send pictures and updates of your dogs for your peace of mind!

About: While I am new to Rover, I’ve been around dogs my whole life, so taking care of them comes really naturally to me. I grew up with dogs, which helped me learn a lot about their behavior, routines, and different personalities. I’m a huge animal lover with two HIGH energy dogs at home who are my very best friends!! I also have some experience pet sitting, including taking care of older dogs who need a little extra patience and attention. I have been pet sitting for neighbors, friends, and family since I was very young and so I’m comfortable with all kinds of dogs, whether they’re super energetic or more laid-back. I understand it can be nerve wracking to leave your fur babies with someone else, but it is my priority to make the experience as safe, comfortable, fun, and as easy as possible! I’m reliable, detail oriented, and I genuinely love being around animals and of course, you’ll get routine updates, photos, and active communication regarding how your pets are doing so you’ll never have to worry. Im excited at the opportunity to love your pet like they are my own and to make your pet as happy as possible while you’re away! Staying active is really important to me, both for my mental and physical health, as well as the pets I care for, so pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I love being able to combine that with caring for fur babies, especially giving energetic dogs the exercise, playtime, and attention they need. Regular check-ins are easy for me to fit in, and since I’m a college student with classes only two days a week, I have a flexible schedule. I try to keep things as normal as possible for every pet I watch so they don’t feel stressed while their owner is away. I’ll stick to their usual routine, but I also pay attention to the little things like how they’re acting, their energy level, or if something seems off. If anything changes, I’ll always play it safe and reach out right away instead of guessing. I prioritize mindfulness in other’s homes, double checking doors are locked, making sure anything your pet could get into is put away, and leaving everything how I found it.

About: I have an extremely flexible schedule which allows me to help on short notice if something comes up. I will treat your dog with the same love that I treat my own. I am currently a stay at home dog mom. I spend my day with my puppy all day, we go on walks multiple times a day and enjoy hanging out around the couch. We have an unfenced yard, but live in a gated community. We live right behind Cook park and take our dog out there multiple times a day.

About: I love playing with cats and dogs. I have no problems having to spend any extra time with animals. I am up to having fun for a long time or just feed and walk your animal. I love cats like crazy but also a dog lover. Love fur babies. I am up at 7am every morning so starting my more care and duties is always organized. I work a job at noon for 4 days out of the week then that I'm free. The way I take care pets in my home or in the client's home is simply making sure that the pet is always feeling loved and having its favorite toys or food and a nearby area.
