About: I have 8+ years of experience in a variety of animal work: shelter volunteer work, employment at a dog and cat daycare, dog-sitting, overnight house sitting, cat-sitting, and dog-walking. With this experience, I’m no stranger to any special request for your pet! I’ve had plenty of exposure to dogs and cats and a variety of breeds, sizes, ages, temperaments, personalities, and physical and mental accommodations. So no worries! No request is too big or too small. I strive to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible as well as keeping you informed and up to date! I have a side baking business and I decorate and deliver on weekends depending on orders, but I can easily work around that schedule if needed. I have a wooden fence around the patio in my townhome and I live in a nice complex with trustworthy neighbors. I also live less than half a mile from a couple local parks, so I could walk your dog to and from there! My roommate has a sociable, spayed husky who is only there on weekends. If you’re uncomfortable with another dog at my home, I can make sure they’re separated with a dog gate if preferred. Our house has 2 stories so each would have plenty of room to themselves. I also try to accommodate my client’s financial expectations. We can discuss rates if needed and I am more than happy to adjust accordingly and reasonably for your comfort. Please keep in mind that I only make 80% of my posted rates, so I try to keep any doggy day care requests that are longer than 8 hours around my current rate of $88 (aka $70.40 after fees) because it’s already only $8.80 per hour. “Pixel is AWESOME!!! My puppy Guinness can be nervous/shy meeting new people and is still getting used to the city noises as we just moved to the area. I booked a 30 min walk and they offered to come meet and greet that night. Then for the walk the next day, they ended up spending over a hour and a half with Guinness building trust and hanging out to make sure he was as comfortable as possible. It is clear that Pixel has a love, patience, and deep understanding for animals and it is SO appreciated as Guinness is still learning and being socialized and would’ve been in crate all day otherwise. Also, they left my apartment and all of the toys etc so tidy! It can be stressful with a nervous pup to get good dog care, especially last minute. I can say Pixel has my full trust and I will definitely book them again the next time I need help!”
