All types of animals have always been apart of my family and I have regular clients off of Rover that can give references. From the easiest kiddos to the wild and crazy ones, I can handle them. About: I recently had to say goodbye to my soul dog on 06/09/26. We found each other when I was working at the Longmont Humane Society in college, and I had the honor of spending the next 12 years with the best friend I’d ever know. Now I’d love the opportunity to open up my home to watch new dogs until I am ready to find my soul dog #2. I had my dog Dexter from his age of 4 to the old age of 16. So I have experience with all energy levels of dogs, as well as dogs that need medication and a little extra attention. I work from home, and work for myself so I have a very flexible and accommodating schedule. My previous routine with my dog was 2 walks a day, in the morning and evening. So it would be great to get those walks going again! I have a dog friendly house, with a small but functional backyard and small grassy front yard. I live 2 blocks from City Park, so always happy to go for a lap if that’s up to your dogs liking. Or if they are an around the block and back dog, we love that too. I’ll love your dog like my own. After loosing mine, it would be lovely to hear the pitter patter of a dog roaming around the house, sleeping, and even a little barking.

About: I started on Rover last year so that my wife and I could spend more time with dogs. Little did we know that we would end up adopting the first dog we ever watched Apollo! Now that Apollo is older we thought we would start offering services again! I grew up with my dog Pepper and had her for 15 years. Now we have had Apollo for 6 months, I’ve picked up more skills training and caring for a puppy. I work from home so I am around during the day for plenty of walks and our little townhome community has a huge shared yard so your dog will get lots of off leash time outside. Apollo is 14 months old and is a lab/husky mix. He LOVES playing with other dogs. I work from home all week. My work is flexible, allowing me plenty of time for walks and other pet care and attention. Our neighborhood is great for walks with several parks nearby. My dog has been one of my best friends my whole life! I love taking care of her and making sure she is happy. Being around dogs in general is when I am at my happiest.

He has to be walked with a rear harness due to his DM (back paws flip under/neurological issues) He is 50 lbs, and holding him up as he walks with his front legs isnt the easiest Job. It takes someone with patience, Compassion, kindness and they have to have strength. Aspen is always happy to see Alyssa to go for his "walk" and stretch his legs a bit.
