About: I am ready and excited to do whatever your dog likes to do, whether it's exercising with a long walk, playing fetch, or relaxing while I give them a belly rub. I grew up with 2 dogs and have experience pet sitting for friends, neighbors, and colleagues over the years. I have never met a dog I didn't get along with; they seem to recognize that I am a dog person and really want nothing more than to make their tails wag. I am currently in nursing school in a mostly online program, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I currently have no pets and would love to hang out with your dog(s)! I’m currently in nursing school and my program is mostly asynchronous online, so my schedule is pretty flexible overall. In the fall, my clinical days will be Thursday and Friday from 7-1, so I will only be available in the afternoon on those days. I live in a pet-friendly apartment across the street from a grassy yard area and near residential areas good for walks. I love going for long walks (especially with a dog pal!) but am always able to adjust for whatever your dog needs.

About: Hi there! I'm Devika (she/her), and I also identify as certified dog aunt to all dogs in the land. In all seriousness, I feel very attuned to dogs specifically, even those with diverse temperaments and needs. I grew up with a family dog, a shih-tzu named Leo, who passed away after a beautiful 17 years. After graduating, I didn't have the resources to commit to a full-time dog as much as I love them. There began my fostering journey during which I cared for 10+ dogs (varied breeds, sizes, and ages), anywhere from a few days to several months. During their time with me as their foster mom, these pups were able to acclimate to domestic life and work towards getting ready for their forever homes. Each foster experience was unique and I learned something new from each pup. That curiosity and attentive care is what I bring to dog care. Outside of my endless love for pups, I am also a clinical psychology doctoral student which brings a whole other facet to my dog care. With my background in trauma, anxiety, and behavioral interventions, I also bring an astute and knowledgeable eye to caring for animals. This includes trauma-informed care (no restraints unless absolutely necessary for safety), thoughtful approaching, and gently authoritative training (only if indicated). Importantly, I completely respect the autonomy of pet-owners in how they want to raise and care for their pet, and will carry out duties to a tee. My top priority is for your pet to feel safe and loved, and for you to have peace of mind while you leave your baby in my care. Please reach out with any questions and I'd love to connect more! About: I have taken care of friends and families dogs and cats for years! I am very clean and organized and absolutely love animals! I have taken in animals and fostered many cats. I used to live with a puppy and took care of him everyday when my roomate went to work as well! I also have 2 cats of my own🥰 I currently work full time from home! So can leave to take care of your fur babies throughout the day! And free at night! I am willing to work around what works best for you and your fur baby! About: Growing up I had an AKC poster above my bed (so I could study the breeds at night, naturally) and went to Fidelco Guide Dog summer camp (training German Shepherd puppies to become guide dogs for the blind). I'm hoping to adopt my own dog in the next couple years now that I've moved to Newton as a graduate student at Boston College and live on my own, but in the meanwhile I am excited to care for your furry family members! I currently have plenty of free time in my schedule and am happy to help out last minute if needed! I have extensive availability this summer as I prepare for school in the fall, but expect to continue to provide pet care throughout the school year, albeit on a more limited schedule. About: I’ve been a dog lover my entire life, truly! I’ve grown up with dogs since I was a kid and have cared for them like they were family (because they are). From energetic 3 month old puppies to gentle senior dogs, I’ve had the joy of caring for pups at every stage of life. I’ve personally had three dogs growing up, and now my girlfriend and I have a sweet Shih Tzu named Coco. Her family has two dogs as well, and we regularly dog sit and care for them like they’re our own. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, cuddles, or just giving them the love and attention they deserve. So this allows me to care for pets in my weekends/ free time when most people have work! At this moment I won’t be able to care for dogs at my home but I would be able to care for pets at clients home. I can also stay over if you’re out of town. I will send pictures/ videos periodically. Will ask all the questions about their schedule, food, allergies, potty intervals, walking time, distance etc. Will be very responsive and can even facetime/video call if needed. About: I have been regularly dog sitting for my brother, my sister, and my parents for the past two years. Their dogs include a senior mini (but quite large) labradoodle, a 10lb Havanese puppy, two pitbull mixes, and a 90lb retriever/malamute mix - and I love all my dog nieces and nephews equally! :) I enjoy being outdoors so I keep the dogs active, but also love to couch potato with them when that’s their vibe. I currently work remotely for an ocean conservation granting program at the New England Aquarium and only go into the office about once a month. My schedule is super flexible and my boyfriend - a PhD student at Boston University - travels a lot for field work. When he’s away I am happy to do virtually anytime (weeknights and weekends included), but when he’s home I tend to stick to weekdays for dog walks and daycare. I have an unfenced yard and a little forest trail right next to my backyard. I also regularly walk to Belmont (~30 mins) to take dogs on trails for walks in that area. I can also drive us there in my Subaru Outback! I have a couch that pulls out into a big day bed, so I usually cover that with a big blanket and make it cozy for naps in the sunbeams (we have a nice big window in the main room). There is plenty of room if you want to bring a crate or their own bed!
