About: I am ready and excited to do whatever your dog likes to do, whether it's exercising with a long walk, playing fetch, or relaxing while I give them a belly rub. I grew up with 2 dogs and have experience pet sitting for friends, neighbors, and colleagues over the years. I have never met a dog I didn't get along with; they seem to recognize that I am a dog person and really want nothing more than to make their tails wag. I am currently in nursing school in a mostly online program, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I currently have no pets and would love to hang out with your dog(s)! I’m currently in nursing school and my program is mostly asynchronous online, so my schedule is pretty flexible overall. In the fall, my clinical days will be Thursday and Friday from 7-1, so I will only be available in the afternoon on those days. I live in a pet-friendly apartment across the street from a grassy yard area and near residential areas good for walks. I love going for long walks (especially with a dog pal!) but am always able to adjust for whatever your dog needs.

“Jackie always comes back from her walks with Jen tired out and in a great mood. Jackie can be a somewhat difficult dog on walks (reactive), but Jen handled her really well. 10/10 would recommend!”

About: Hi there! I'm Devika (she/her), and I also identify as certified dog aunt to all dogs in the land. In all seriousness, I feel very attuned to dogs specifically, even those with diverse temperaments and needs. I grew up with a family dog, a shih-tzu named Leo, who passed away after a beautiful 17 years. After graduating, I didn't have the resources to commit to a full-time dog as much as I love them. There began my fostering journey during which I cared for 10+ dogs (varied breeds, sizes, and ages), anywhere from a few days to several months. During their time with me as their foster mom, these pups were able to acclimate to domestic life and work towards getting ready for their forever homes. Each foster experience was unique and I learned something new from each pup. That curiosity and attentive care is what I bring to dog care. Outside of my endless love for pups, I am also a clinical psychology doctoral student which brings a whole other facet to my dog care. With my background in trauma, anxiety, and behavioral interventions, I also bring an astute and knowledgeable eye to caring for animals. This includes trauma-informed care (no restraints unless absolutely necessary for safety), thoughtful approaching, and gently authoritative training (only if indicated). Importantly, I completely respect the autonomy of pet-owners in how they want to raise and care for their pet, and will carry out duties to a tee. My top priority is for your pet to feel safe and loved, and for you to have peace of mind while you leave your baby in my care. Please reach out with any questions and I'd love to connect more! I am available on weeknights and weekends to for dog-walking, drop ins, and house sitting. I can dedicate my time to providing your animal with utmost care. I live close to Beaver Brook Reservation and am also able to go to more secluded areas if your dog is sensitive or has other needs. I provide updates during your pup's time with me and am a strong communicator about scheduling. I care for pets in a safe, thoughtful, and generous way. I am able to adapt to the dog's needs, and am happy to accommodate to the level of care you prefer and need. I am so excited to meet you and your pup!

I used to live with a puppy and took care of him everyday when my roomate went to work as well! I also have 2 cats of my own🥰 I currently work full time from home! So can leave to take care of your fur babies throughout the day! And free at night! I am willing to work around what works best for you and your fur baby! I will make sure your pets are happy and eating and are doing everything normal! Can also FaceTime you everyday I am pet sitting for you so you can say hi to your fur baby! Whatever makes you the most comfortable!

About: Growing up I had an AKC poster above my bed (so I could study the breeds at night, naturally) and went to Fidelco Guide Dog summer camp (training German Shepherd puppies to become guide dogs for the blind). I'm hoping to adopt my own dog in the next couple years now that I've moved to Newton as a graduate student at Boston College and live on my own, but in the meanwhile I am excited to care for your furry family members! I currently have plenty of free time in my schedule and am happy to help out last minute if needed! I have extensive availability this summer as I prepare for school in the fall, but expect to continue to provide pet care throughout the school year, albeit on a more limited schedule. I am not able to care for dogs in my own home, but would love to play with and care for your dog in your own home!

About: With over 8 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, I bring a deep understanding of what it takes to keep dogs happy, healthy, and safe. As the proud parent of Gwen, my gentle 11-year-old Great Dane, and Luna, my energetic and sweet 5-year-old American Staffordshire, I’ve spent years training, walking, and bonding with dogs who have very different needs. Having an older dog has given me experience with administering meds (with or without food) and being considerate of slow and easy walks when needed. I genuinely love spending time with dogs—it’s not just a job for me, it’s a passion. What sets me apart from other walkers is my ability to adapt to each dog’s personality and energy level, my calm and confident handling skills, and my commitment to reliability. You can count on me to show up on time, follow your instructions closely, and treat your dog like one of my own. As a chef, I work mainly evenings, which leaves my daytime hours wide open—and there’s nothing I enjoy more than spending that time outdoors with a dog by my side. Whether it’s a mid-morning stroll or an early afternoon adventure, I’m available during the day for reliable, energetic walks tailored to your dog’s needs. I’m organized and efficient with my schedule, so you can trust that your pup will get consistent, on-time care while you’re at work or running errands. At home, I keep a calm and relaxing environment where dogs can unwind, nap, and feel safe—perfect for pups who need a quiet space to decompress. That said, there’s also plenty of room for play! My 5-year-old American Staffordshire, Luna, is full of energy and always ready to share her toys or make a new friend. She’d love a buddy to play with around the house or join her for fun outings at the park. Whether your dog prefers a peaceful nap or a playmate to romp with, I’m happy to provide a balanced and comfortable space that fits their personality. I always have my dog crate open if any dog (mine included) feels the need for some alone time.

“Andrew is an all-around excellent, reliable, and friendly dog walker. Our Raina pup thoroughly enjoys seeing him for midday walks and he even takes time to play with her inside if it is a particularly rainy day. Can't recommend him enough!”

About: I’ve been a dog lover my entire life, truly! I’ve grown up with dogs since I was a kid and have cared for them like they were family (because they are). From energetic 3 month old puppies to gentle senior dogs, I’ve had the joy of caring for pups at every stage of life. I’ve personally had three dogs growing up, and now my girlfriend and I have a sweet Shih Tzu named Coco. Her family has two dogs as well, and we regularly dog sit and care for them like they’re our own. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, cuddles, or just giving them the love and attention they deserve. I genuinely enjoy every second of it. Spending time with dogs makes me happier than anything else. Honestly, I’d rather hang out with pups than people any day, they calm my mind, fill my heart, and never fail to make me smile. If I had to choose between a human baby and a puppy, I’d choose the puppy every time! That’s how much I love and cherish them. If you trust me with your dog, know they’ll be cared for like family, with love, patience, and plenty of tail wags. 🐶❤️ I currently work in Pharma/manufacturing so i work Wednesday to Saturday and Thursday to Saturday every alternate week so I'm mostly free Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every alternate Wednesday. So this allows me to care for pets in my weekends/ free time when most people have work! At this moment I won’t be able to care for dogs at my home but I would be able to care for pets at clients home. I can also stay over if you’re out of town. I will send pictures/ videos periodically. Will ask all the questions about their schedule, food, allergies, potty intervals, walking time, distance etc. Will be very responsive and can even facetime/video call if needed. Safety comes first always!

About: I have been regularly dog sitting for my brother, my sister, and my parents for the past two years. Their dogs include a senior mini (but quite large) labradoodle, a 10lb Havanese puppy, two pitbull mixes, and a 90lb retriever/malamute mix - and I love all my dog nieces and nephews equally! :) I enjoy being outdoors so I keep the dogs active, but also love to couch potato with them when that’s their vibe. I currently work remotely for an ocean conservation granting program at the New England Aquarium and only go into the office about once a month. My schedule is super flexible and my boyfriend - a PhD student at Boston University - travels a lot for field work. When he’s away I am happy to do virtually anytime (weeknights and weekends included), but when he’s home I tend to stick to weekdays for dog walks and daycare. I have an unfenced yard and a little forest trail right next to my backyard. I also regularly walk to Belmont (~30 mins) to take dogs on trails for walks in that area. I can also drive us there in my Subaru Outback! I have a couch that pulls out into a big day bed, so I usually cover that with a big blanket and make it cozy for naps in the sunbeams (we have a nice big window in the main room). There is plenty of room if you want to bring a crate or their own bed!

About: Hello! Are you looking for a reliable, compassionate, and experienced pet sitter who will treat your furry friend like family? Look no further! I’m Jackie, a dedicated pet lover and owner with 20 years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. My experience includes caring for cats of all ages and dogs as small as 7 lbs to as large as 100 lbs! I am willing to do as much as walk or run with your pup and provide their necessary exercise routine to keep him or her healthy! I also have experience giving oral or topical medications if necessary! From playful puppies to serene senior cats, I ensure each pet receives personalized care, love, and attention while you're away. 🐾 What I offer: Daily walks, playtime, and exercise to keep your pet happy and healthy Regular feeding, grooming, and oral medication administration Detailed updates and photos to keep you connected Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. Trust me to provide the same love and care I would give my own. Let’s make tails wag and whiskers wiggle with joy — contact me today to set up a meet-and-greet! I work a typical 8-5, 5 days a week, but it is a hybrid schedule, so I usually work from home Mondays and Fridays then am in my Burlington office mid-week. Otherwise, I live in the Boston area with a car, so I can pop in before/after work or during my 1 hour lunch breaks as well as weekends. When caring for pets in my home, I create a safe, comfortable, and fun environment tailored to each pet’s needs. I provide plenty of supervised playtime, regular walks, and cozy resting areas. I follow any specific feeding schedules, administer medications if needed, and maintain a consistent routine to reduce stress. Safety is my top priority, so I ensure secure spaces and pet-proofed areas. When caring for pets in their own homes, I stick closely to their established routines to keep them comfortable. I provide feeding, exercise, play, and affection according to your instructions. I’m mindful of home security, ensuring doors and gates are always secure, and I keep you updated with photos and detailed notes so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away. I am a naturally clean and organized person, so no need to worry about your pets getting into anything or returning to you dirty. Ultimately, I approach every pet with love, patience, and the individualized attention they deserve to keep them happy, healthy, and safe.

Watertown dog parents share their Rover experiences
Ajay was a great choice. Our dogs are rescues with abandonment issues and anxiety, which lead to difficult behaviour. Ajay made himself available for a meet and greet and was able to handle them very well. The dogs were very comfortable with him and we had the peace of mind we looked for. Thank you!

Andrew was fantastic! Professional and communicative! He kept us posted with updates of his walks with our dog Amos and plenty of pictures too. We would highly recommend if you are looking for a walker or sitter. We will definitely use Andrew again in the future!

Eric and Louise have looked after Wrigley on many occasions and we’re happy to have the help. Louise is a natural with dogs. She is sensitive to Wrigley’s needs, allowing him to walk at his own pace (sniff sniff), greet other friendly dogs and turn back when he’s ready. Wrigley greets them with happy dog enthusiasm whenever they come in the door. That tells me they do a great job!
