About: I have always had a deep love for dogs, growing up with one in my hometown. My experience expanded significantly during my time as an au pair in Germany, where I cared for Hannah, a beautiful Golden Retriever. Hannah was incredibly loving with her family but reactive around other dogs - she would bark and lunge toward them. I learned to read her body language, redirect her attention with treats and commands, and keep her calm during walks by choosing quieter routes and using positive reinforcement techniques. As a nursing student, I understand the importance of following detailed care instructions, maintaining routines, and watching for behavioral or health changes. While some cats are eager to greet visitors at the door, I also recognize that more reserved or shy cats may prefer to observe from a distance until they feel comfortable. I’m always patient and willing to give them space, often spending time in common areas like the kitchen or living room to allow them to approach on their own terms. Additionally, I make it a priority to familiarize myself with a cat’s preferred hiding spots (not to intrude) but to ensure they are safe and not trapped or stuck somewhere they shouldn’t be. On the other end of the spectrum, I’m also aware when it comes to preventing cats from slipping out the door, to ensure they don’t endanger themselves.

About: Hi! I’ve been a dog owner all my life. Now I have a 5 year old female miniature Goldendoodle named Lucy. She is my third dog, and well trained. Now I also have a little munchkin boy cat. He’s great with dogs too. I work from home, but like outdoor activities. Whether you need to tire your pooch out or just want them to be napping quietly, you got it! My condo is secured with security cameras and app controlled gates. I live on the top floor, in a corner unit with amazing views and sunshine and air flow. I usually just leave all drapes up windows open.
