“Son is amazing. He’s on time and attentive to what we’re asking him to do. Our dog loves spending time with Son and we trusted Son to look after our dog when we’re away from home.”

“Catherine took such good care of our two bunnies while we were on vacation! This was my first time using Rover, and she helped make the process super easy. She was so patient and kind (even when the bunnies made a big mess!) She also provided thorough updates, lots of photos, and sweet notes that we really appreciated. I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter! Thank you so much Catherine!”

About: I’ve cared for my own dogs and cats for over 30 years and have several years of experience pet sitting for friends and family. Since 2019, I’ve also been a Doggy Day Out volunteer with the Humane Society of Silicon Valley, taking dogs of all sizes on walks, hikes, and park adventures for exercise, socialization, and fun. I treat every pet like my own, with lots of love, patience, and attention. 👉 Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or snuggles, I’ll make sure your furry family member feels happy and cared for while you’re away. My schedule is fairly open, so I have plenty of time to care for and give plenty of attention to your pets most days and times. Your pet’s safety and happiness are always my first priority. In your home, I follow your routines so your furry friend feels comfortable and secure. Dogs always get safe, leashed walks and lots of attention, while cats get clean litter, fresh food/water, and the level of play or cuddles they enjoy. I treat every pet like my own—with love, patience, and care—so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands. 🐾
“Alicia took great care of my pups and the house. She was punctual and provided several photos. My dogs were very happy to meet her and she managed my big, high energy, jumpy dog really well. I would recommend her and will be requesting her to sit my dogs again!”

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was young and have cared for many different personalities over the years. I regularly help the family I used to live with by watching their dog whenever they travel, which shows the trust people place in me. Dogs tend to feel comfortable with me quickly, and I focus on gentle handling, consistent routines, and making sure every pup feels safe, relaxed, and loved while their owners are away. I work 6-8am and 3-7pm so I will home the most of the other time, and my husband get off after 5, there will be people in the house the most of the time! For cats boarding, our home has cat trees, cozy resting areas, and a Litter-Robot for a clean, low-stress environment. Cats are free to roam the house as long as they get along with our own cats. I always supervise introductions and make sure every cat has safe spaces to relax or hide if needed. Also if your cat feel like staying alone, we have a separate room set up ready as well. I’ve included photos of part of our home so you can see the environment your cat will stay in. For dogs, I provide drop-in visits or boarding, where dogs are most comfortable and able to follow their normal routines.
About: I do not do pet under 1. I do what I can to make your pet feel happy. Let me take care of your pet. Work Tuesday -Thursday . I can drop in 2 times a day. If you need more I will talk about it. I will do Friday and Saturday depending on my schedules. Hi! My name is Tammy. I've been dog-sitting for friends, family, neighbors, and referrals, and I've discovered how much I love spending time with my furry friends. I've decided to turn this passion into a job. I'm available for overnight stays or visits with your family pet (dogs under 15 pounds only). I enjoy spending time with my family, babysitting my sisters' young kids, going to the arcade, and watching movies. I understand it can be difficult to trust someone new with your dog, but I promise to care for your pet as if they were my own.

“Kaylee was so great with my boys while I had to work the holiday rush. I’m so thankful for her willingness to last minute take care of my silly dogs. Will def be using her again.”

About: i’ve very organized and responsible about the pets! Consider it as a very big responsibility. I require the bed for my pet children and will offer the same level of care and protection animals are able to touch my heart and make my heart shine. they very special in this world and i’m so easy to interact and get to know them. my pets are always kept safe, never left alone more then 24hours, under constant supervision from my indoor cameras and their persitter. I’m attentive to their behaviour and always take action about anything uncommon about it
About: I’ve owned two dogs since they were puppies who now 12 and 11. The older one is still very sort and incredibly clever. The younger I’m pretty sure is just a cat pretending to be a dog. I also have experience watching larger dogs that belonged to family members as well. I have also house sat cats and kittens for extended period of time. Currently, I work full time. I let my dogs out in the morning and they guard the house while I’m away. Once I get home, they get their cuddles and walks (usually about a mile). On the weekends we try to go to our relatives to let them play in the backyard together. I don’t tend to have others’ pets in my home because my dogs do not like to share their space. However, when I’m at others’ homes, I follow instructions that are left behind to the T. I always reach out if I need clarification or have any questions.
“Ariana is professional, detail oriented, and goes above and beyond. Her Rover cards were super thorough and transparent. She took such care of my baby - you can tell she is a true cat whisperer by how quickly my baby began to trust her. I will definitely be requesting her top notch services again in the future.”

“Joleen is such a sweet human and pet sitter! She goes above and beyond to care for the animals she watches over. She swept up litter and cleaned out Jack’s wet food dish everyday! She played with Jack and was respectful in our home! Jack can throw a fit and poop outside his box when we leave and she was so sweet in taking care of his temper tantrums! She was thoughtful enough to bring in our Amazon packages as well! Defintiely would rebook with Joleen”

About: I’ve been a pet parent myself for 10 years, caring for my own dog while looking after multiple cats. I’ve looked after friends and families animals so I am very comfortable stepping into new environments. I’ve gained hands on experience with pets that require medication (including pills, liquids, injections, etc). I’ve cared for animals of all ages and temperaments, from energetic puppies to senior animals who require a little extra patience. I love meeting each pet where they’re at. Whether it’s a gentle cuddle session or an energetic walk, i’ll match your pets energy making sure they feel loved and happy. I’m based in East San Jose and happy to travel a bit farther!! I currently am training for my upcoming hockey season! Monday-Thursday I’m available for morning visits before 1 PM (as early as 7 AM), and for afternoon/evening visits anytime after 3PM. On weekends, I’m fully open and can do multiple visits, walks, or overnight stays. I plan my week around confirmed bookings and make sure your pets care never overlaps with something else. When caring for pets in your home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal as possible so they feel comfortable. I always leave the home clean and like to send updates (whether it’s a text or a photo) after visits so you know how things are going. If anything comes up (a change in behavior, a mess, or something out of the ordinary), I’ll let you know immediately. I treat every pet and home like i’d want mine to be treated.
About: For most of my High School education I had watched The Dog Whisperer religiously, which helped to ingrain my love for animals especially towards canines. I slowly began to pursue fields in which I could help surround myself with animals and careers pertaining to animals. I started after high school and became a volunteer at the San Jose Animal Care Services located on Monterey Rd. in San José. I was working on the side while going to school as I volunteered to help compensate the volunteer hours. As a designated dog walker I was introduced to small toy dogs down to 4 pounds up to larger breeds ranging upwards of 100 pounds. I am located in a single-family residence in a suburban enclave in Evergreen. We have a fenced backyard with lots of space to stretch out and enjoy the outdoors. The local elementary school is a 5-minute walk away, featuring its own walking trail and a fenced grass area. Animal care is my second nature. I can understand body signs and cues when it comes to how an animal is feeling and the best way to approach them. I've held up against big dogs all the way down to the little ones. Each animal is unique. The most important thing is love and respect.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for my own three dogs since they were puppies, including feeding, walking, bathing, administering basic care, monitoring behavior, and providing daily attention and exercise. Through my Veterinary Assistant (VA) course, I also gained foundational knowledge in animal handling, safety, hygiene, and pet wellness. I am patient, attentive, and committed to making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Pet care fits comfortably into my daily routine since I already spend a lot of time caring for my own dogs every day. I’m used to feeding, walks, playtime, cleaning up after them, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. Being around animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so making time for pet care feels very natural to me. At home, I care for my own dogs with daily walks, playtime, cleaning, and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I pay close attention to their behavior and needs to keep them happy and healthy. For clients, I would provide the same level of care and attention through walks and daycare. I aim to create a calm, safe, and caring environment where pets feel comfortable while their owners are away. I understand how important routines, patience, and supervision are when caring for someone else’s pet.
“Aivy was an amazing cat sitter who stood up to the plate with all my crazy detailed instructions and even took additional time to repair the litter robot when it malfunctioned. I appreciated her super fast communication too. My funny cats warmed up to her immediately. Aivy is now officially on my list of the trusted cat sitters who I will for sure hire in the future when needed.”

About: Hello! I recently lost my 14 yr old dachshund and 14 yr old shih tzu and am taking a step to share my time and space with new fur friends! Currently working from home 2-3 days per week and changes weekly. Open to coordinating schedules to align to what’s best for you and your fur baby. I have a fenced in yard with no other animals in or around us. I had my 2 dogs for 14 years and am comfortable with most anything your pet will need. Medicine, exercise, crating
About: I’ve been the go-to pet person in my circle for years! Friends, family, and neighbors call me when they need someone reliable, patient, and genuinely excited to hang out with their pets. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, overnights, or keeping up with detailed routines, I take pride in making pets feel safe, loved, and completely at ease while you’re away. What sets me apart from other sitters is the level of attention and emotional awareness I bring. As an empath, I don’t just “watch” pets, I learn their personalities. Are they high-energy zoomie champions? Velcro dogs? Secret snack negotiators? I adjust my care style to fit *them* so they stay happy and stress-free. I have experience with puppies who need structure, consistency, and patience (potty training, leash manners, crate routines), as well as senior dogs who deserve a slower pace, gentle handling, and medication support. I’m also very comfortable with anxious or shy pets and use calm, positive approaches to build trust at their speed. My goal is simple: happy pets, lots of tail wags, and owners who can relax knowing their furry family member is in caring, capable hands. Plus, you’ll always get photo updates because I know being away is the hardest part :) My schedule is thoughtfully balanced between two of my personal businesses—pet care and swim instruction. I’m a professional swim instructor during parts of the day, which means I may be in the water or teaching lessons for a few hours at a time, depending on the day of the week. Because of this, I build my pet care schedule very intentionally to make sure every animal in my care gets consistent attention, exercise, and quality time. Pet care isn’t just something I “fit in”—it’s a core part of my work and something I genuinely care about. Balancing both businesses allows me to stay active, responsible, and fully present in the care I provide. My care style really comes down to one thing: keeping pets happy, comfortable, and on their normal routine, just with me stepping in as their temporary human. In a client’s home, I treat your space with the same respect I’d want for my own. I stick closely to feeding schedules, walk times, medications, play routines, and any “house rules” your pet knows (or thinks they can bend). I keep things clean, calm, and secure so your pet feels safe in their familiar environment. If pets are staying in my home, they get a cozy, supervised environment with lots of attention, exercise, and downtime based on their energy level. I make sure introductions, rest spaces, and routines are handled thoughtfully so everyone feels comfortable. I'll most likely end up snuggling your pet too! :)

This is the second time I've hired Nikisha while I was away for a trip and I would 1000% hire her again. My cat loves her and seems happy to see her when she comes by, and she checked on my elderly gecko as well, keeping her water clean and filled. Super thankful for her!

Our cats were in such good hands with Olivia! This was the first time we used a cat sitter, so we were naturally a little nervous, but she immediately put us at ease. She was incredibly gentle and patient, and really understood how to care for both our shy cat and our energetic kitten. We appreciated the updates with lots of pictures from each visit and the care she showed them while we were away. We would absolutely trust Olivia to take care of our cats again in the future and highly recommend her!

Aivy was an amazing cat sitter who stood up to the plate with all my crazy detailed instructions and even took additional time to repair the litter robot when it malfunctioned. I appreciated her super fast communication too. My funny cats warmed up to her immediately. Aivy is now officially on my list of the trusted cat sitters who I will for sure hire in the future when needed.

We just had an amazing experience with Son caring for our two dogs. He was super attentive to our 13 year old Labradors need and gave our Husky special attention during his visits. Son is very reliable and has excellent communication. We will be using his services in the future. Thank you Som for everything !

Reliable, professional, and excellent communicator. Sandy helped take care of my 2 cats while I was on vacation via drop-in visits. She went above and beyond, taking care of my cats, keeping them company, and helped water my plants. Sandy even came back a second day to fill my cats' food bowl when the initial bag of food ran out. Highly recommended!

I definitely recommend Skylee. My senior cat is on multiple meds and have certain dietary needs, and when I first met Skylee, she took down a lot of notes and asked questions to make sure she understands everything well. I really felt reassured when I was away with the detailed updates that she left and she took a lot of photos. Will book again in the future. Thank you!
Mary was an amazing sitter for my cat. Pepper is not easy, she is a little shy and is not friendly with strangers at all. However, Mary managed to win her over, and even got Pepper to ask for belly rubs! I was so happy and surprised that she got her to warm up. She sent me detailed reports and tons of photos everyday, which was great. I would 100% book Mary again and recommend her to other pet owners.

My cat is shy and feels threatened by strangers in the house. Veronica seems to have a great understanding of cats and with her gentle, non threatening ways, she had my cat actually willingly come to her. I am grateful for the special care my cat received in our absence from Veronica.
Sumaira took such good care of my cat, tortoise, and chicken. She sent great pictures and they all looked happy. Appreciated her attention to detail and letting me know a light had burned out. Timely daily feeding and visits! Will definitely ask Sumaira to take care of my zoo again!
