We were anxious about what sitter we might get. Fortunately, we picked an amazing sitter (Yoona & Minjae) that had cared for Maple with flying colors. Before the trip, Maple had a case of diarrhea, but Yoona & Minjae had carefully adjusted her diet and provided the right balance of exercise and rest making her much healthier and stronger than before. Buddy, Yoona & Minjae’s dog had seemed to keep her happy and emotionally settled. Yoona & Minjae was very professional, knowledgable, and diligent. From beginning to end, they kept in touch with us by updating us with photos and thoughtful responses on how she was doing. we were able to enjoy our trip completely at ease, knowing Maple was in the right hands. Due to our cat’s health condition, he needed liquid gabapentin administered by syringe into his mouth, and she handled this responsibility wonderfully. “Xiuhui aka Sophie is very responsive and responsible taking care of my shy, timid baby girl. Sophie takes my girl out for walks at least two times even it’s just 6-8 hours day care. Gives timely updates and pictures of my girl. Most important thing for me is that she’s punctual and flexible. I had bad experience when the sitter didn’t come out to pick up my dog on time and didn’t reply to messages or phone call for like 20 minutes because they “forget and mute my phone” then the traffic became horrible for me. Sophie replies messages in a timely fashion. Sometimes we need to drop my dog off early than scheduled, sometimes we need to pick her up late, and Sophie is all fine with that without any issues. I highly recommend her and will continue letting her take care of my baby girl.”

About: I have always liked taking care of dogs of any kind. I have taken care of dogs in shelters and I have rescued dogs from the street. I am an experienced dog sitter but Im new to this rover. Mostly I take care of my family and friends dog when they are going to a vacation. I currently spend in my apartment with my dog and my daughter. In the afternoons we go for walks and go to a dog park near here to play outdoors. And on weekends my husband is with me to help me walk the dogs, to play with them. He loves dogs as much as I do. I have a very playful dog, she has access to everything, she can climb on furniture, beds without problem and your dog can do it too if he wants (: I keep the air conditioning at 70 or 72 (depends on how hot it is) I always make sure I have a nice environment for the dogs to feel good. BTW…. If your dog is very attached (like mine) and likes to sleep in bed, I have no problem letting him sleep in my bed. I promise to take care of him and treat him as if he were mine.

About: I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life since a baby. I love animals more than anything and will care for yours as if they were my own. I’m a stay/work from home mom so my schedule is very flexible. I can care for your pet while you’re at work or not at home. I have a small back porch downstairs of my townhouse but I can walk them as needed for potty breaks. I live In the downtown area of San Jose where there are plenty of dog friendly parks to take them. I will never neglect your family member he/she will be cared for as my own. They will be walked and fed and loved on a lot and you can call me anytime and request as many pics as you’d like. I know it’s nerve wracking to leave a family member with someone new so I want you and your dogs and/or cats to feel completely comfortable with me. Thank you. I let them sleep where they want and take them for walks daily multiple times a day. About: I have experience taking care of pets from hamsters to birds to cats and dogs. I know how to adapt to different personalities and requirements based on each pet. I have also taught my cat how to give a high-five and that was fun so I am open to continuing training for pets too. I currently don’t have a full time job so my availability is very flexible. I am also starting on my own exercise journey so being able to get active and meet my daily step goals alongside a furry friend sounds like a cool way to combine interests. In my own home I care for my cat by having an airtag on her and providing supervised patio time. When I take my cat on walks, I use a leash to keep her safe. For taking care of your pet, I will continue to keep an eye on them during play and make sure they dont get into any trouble by eating things they aren’t supposed too. I am good at following directions if your oet has specific instructions for their safety.
About: My family has had dogs my entire childhood, so I’ve had the experience of taking care of up to 3 large dogs at a time. I’ve learned how to feed, brush, bathe, and play with dogs my whole life. I also have prior experience doing drop-ins for other people’s dogs; feeding, watering, and playing with them twice a day. I believe it’s vital for pets to be physically and mentally stimulated every day, and I’m honored to be the person that can do that for them! I’m currently a student at SJSU looking for a summer job. I do not have a car, but I’m happy to take public transportation within reason to watch your pets! I’m mostly available on weekday mornings and afternoons. In terms of safety and security, I’m happy to accommodate your needs. Whatever you need me to do to make you more comfortable with me taking care of your pets in your home/yard I can do! In terms of dog-walking, I can take whatever route you prefer, and/or stay in your own neighborhood for your comfortability.
About: I’ve helped take care of dogs for most of my childhood. Whether it was my family’s, family friend’s, or my own pets, I’ve made sure that they were treated with love and care. I’m currently working part time as a ballet instructor. Though I will make sure to find the most convenient times that work best for both parties. As of now, my place might not be the best place for pets to come back to since I live in an apartment complex, but it does have a whole pet area to play in, plus I will make sure they get many pets and attention.

“Meredith was the best dog-sitter we could've asked for! For the last 5 years, our two dogs (german short-haired pointer and cattle dog mix) have stayed with family when we traveled. Since our family would be attending our wedding it meant they wouldn't be able to watch the dogs, so it was a big deal for us to find and trust somebody new. We had a meet and greet with Meredith where it was immediately clear that watching our dogs would be her #1 priority while they were there, and my anxiety level noticeably decreased. Then leading up to the actual boarding dates, we had the perfect storm of doggie ailments... Our GSP ate a peach pit that had to be surgically removed a few weeks prior and our cattle dog mix had an arthritis flair-up that severely affected her appetite and limited her movement. Meredith didn't flinch when we told her our GSP was on the tail-end of healing from surgery or when we provided her with a hodge podge of different foods for our picky girl, just to make sure she would eat something. She also went above and beyond and picked up meat to cook and feed our pup when she wouldn't eat the other items and hand-fed her at times to ensure she was getting nutrition. It breaks my heart to see my dog not eating because of pain, and kills me even more to leave her in another's care like that, but Meredith was the best I could've asked for in our situation and did an excellent job taking care of both of them. Between our GSP's ENDLESS energy, and our fearful cattle dog mix that can be reactive, they can be a handful even when fully healthy! We are SO SO appreciative that Meredith took such great care of them and we'd absolutely have her watch them again!”
