“Jaynee was the 3rd Rover pet sitter that we checked out before booking. We are very picky and looked at her responsiveness, house cleanliness, and experience to able to a young dog/puppy. We decided to book with Jaynee after our first encounter with her dog and our dog, so see if they can tolerate each other. During Apricot's stay, Jaynee was very responsive and updated us every morning about Apricot! She sent pictures and videos! She asked questions about his potty behavior due to his anxiety. Her house was very clean up front and inside. She provided him food and water bowls when we forgot his! I also forgot to leave instructions on feeding, emergency, etc but Jaynee was very responsible and asked right away! We booked Jaynee before the July 4th holiday to the 3rd, and the weather was VERY hot in San Jose, and Jaynee was very sensible about walking in the morning and late evening! The weather is so hot the asphalt/concrete would burn paws! We already booked Jaynee for December and highly recommend her for any pet parent!”

She was a black lab who lived til 14. She passed away playing fetch up northern Minnesota due to a heart attack playing fetch in the lake. She entered heaven doing her greatest love. There has always been peace to that. In 2020 I rescued Aspen. She is a Great Pyrenees, English mastiff, and laborador retriever. She saved my walks by allowing me to take her for two hour long walks a day at a nearby regional trail during the pandemic. I taught her how to swim, pray, shake, kiss, and potty. From the teething puppy stage to the nap loving 5 year old stage, I have adored witnessing her transition through it all. Though she rests hard, she plays harder. When I moved to San Jose with my partner, Lucy, my 11 year old Maltese joined the family. She is full of eye boogers, but even more full of love and warm cuddles she loves long walks up to even 4 miles. Aside from that, I quickly made a name for myself as a dog sitter in San Jose. Through connections, I have landed opportunities to watch one elderly and one 5 year old red lab overnight in Monterey, five other primary dogs in the east bay from a 1 year old rescue lab, to a shy and night loving cat, to a 3 year old rescued German Sheppard, to a highly intelligent greyhound, and a foster Samoyed turned adopted puppy who went from shy, severely underweight and timid, to strong, smiley, and full of chatter. “Shreeja and her husband are awesome. They took great care of Shiro. He felt like home with her. He got cuddled, belly rubs, walks, played fetch and what not. Shiro was picky eater and she was very kind to hand feed him. She shared Shiro's updates in photos and videos every few hours that made me not feel anxious throughout my 8 days trip. Thank you soo much for taking care and loving him. Would definitely leave Shiro with her the next time we are out of town. I recommend Shreeja 1000%”
“We had a really great experience with Son while he took care of our dog, Bru. From day one, Son was super responsive and easy to communicate with, which made being away from Bru a lot less stressful. He checked in with us every day to let us know how Bru was doing — how his mood was, whether he was eating properly, and how he was settling in. As a pet parent, those little updates mean everything. Son was also very thoughtful and respectful about Bru’s routine. If there was ever a situation involving new food or any change, he always asked or kept us informed first, which we really appreciated. He was also incredibly accommodating, coordinating smoothly with a friend of ours for Bru’s drop-off and pickup, along with all his things. That flexibility made things so much easier for us. Most importantly, we could tell Bru was comfortable and well cared for. We truly loved the way Son looked after him and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Son to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet boarding option. We’ll definitely be reaching out to him again in the future.”
“I have a special needs, senior malamute with (diagnosed) major anxiety. Ideally, I wanted him to stay with one sitter to build trust with the dog and for them to learn how to support his special needs. However, I have had issues with previous sitters that would leave me feeling unsatisfied (. After struggling to find a suitable dog sitter, I finally found Anna. Anna was able to accommodate me on short notice to care for my dog. She listened to all of my concerns and reassured me that my dog would be in good hands. Other dog sitters would dismiss my concerns, but Anna went as far as to send me pictures, videos, and text updates throughout the day so I wouldn’t have to worry if my dog was okay. From what I’ve seen so far, Anna has great control over all the dogs she has in her car. I let her know that my dog is very nervous around other dogs, but to my surprise she sent me a video of him playing with the other dogs and, even, swimming in her pool! Up until this point, I had never seen my highly anxious dog do so well around other dogs, much less swimming in a pool! All very exciting things. Suffice to say, I will be booking with Anna from now on, and I would highly recommend her to all my family and friends! Thank you, Anna!”
“This is our first time with Mary. We are very happy with the result. We had a hunch that our dog would have a good time stay. The pictures and captions during the trip showed that they enjoy each other very much. After the trip, it showed our dog is well taken care of and is just as happy as before the trip. When we mention Mary, our dog shows excited and wanting to play with Mary again. We made excellent choice this time. Definitely rebook.”
