I grew up raising hamsters, rabbits, and cats. It was a wonderful upbringing as I was able to develop a deep sense of curiosity and empathy for these cute creatures. All their quirks, habits, and secret language–so intriguing! Fast forward to adulthood and starting in 2021, I have been dog and house sitting for regular clients across the Peninsula and South Bay; a 70-lb Springer Spaniel here, a pair of energetic English Bulldogs there, etc. With my dogs, I've taken them on walks and runs (0.5-3 miles), dropped off at vet/groomer, administered medicine, gave lots of pets, and even accidentally taught one a trick. Since I've loved pets from a young age, I also have experience working with cats at a non-profit that rescues, socializes, and nurtures neonatal kittens and older felines of all ages. I work remotely so am allowed much flexibility to care for your pet(s) and am based out of San Jose. I'm happy to give you the peace of mind that your pet(s) and home are in good hands while you are away. I treat everyone's house as if it were my own; fulfilled by cleanliness as much as I am by animals. I've been told it's as if I wasn't even there! Additionally, I travel all over the Bay. With a fenced backyard and a park right across our street, rest assured your dog will not only be well taken care of but will also have a blast. Deebo is a 7 year old pitbull mix that is more scared of wind than anything else in the world. He makes the perfect training companion as he can interact with all kinds of dogs with no issue. Diesel is our 5 year old blue heeler that is ready to play! If you have a high energy companion, you've found his match. I'm currently working full-time but find time each weekend to have a fun activity with my dogs and would love to help dog owners who are busy, going on vacation, etc. My partner and I go on near daily runs and would love to have your dogs join us (especially if they are leash trained). My goal is to make this a full time job so my availability may open up in the future. Being an owner of 2 dogs, I know how difficult it is to go on a trip away where you cant bring your dog and don't have anyone to care for them. We are dog lovers at heart and will give up our spots on the couch for your fur friend. About: I've cared for dogs since childhood and until very recently I’ve had two of my own, until my beloved senior Pomeranian, Pumpkin, passed away of natural causes earlier this year. My goal is to understand each dog’s personality and needs to provide the best care, so I strive to stay informed about breed-specific needs and quirks. I’m happy to accommodate each individual pet’s needs, whether that’s giving meds or following any other routine that they’re used to. Since I work from home, I offer flexible scheduling. If your dog is social, they can join Chopper, my 5-year-old Jindo, for walks. I also provide drop-in visits, basic obedience training, bathing, and can help with cleanup during visits. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life too, they’re all really different but it doesn’t change our love for them. I’ll be happy to take care ur furry friend and give them and you the best experience I’m currently working in an animal hospital where I work 9-6. I would take ur furry friend to my job where he’ll have potty breaks all day and I will be watching him/her the whole time. Will be able to play and stretch before 8 am and after 6 at parks close to my house. I will be able to play with them before, during (on lunch time) and after work, and they will have access to food and water all day. I live in a townhouse so I don’t have a backyard, but where I live there’s a lot of green space to run and stretch, he/she will be able to run around as much as they want. I’m currently working in an Animal hospital, so I have some experience handling dogs and cats and i will be able to provide them a safe space. I also have experience with giving medications.
