“I would highly recommend Zhengjun when considering someone to take care of your pet. Zhengjun stepped up and took over for my original sitter when that arrangement didn’t work out properly. Without Zhengjun’s assistance we would have been in a real predicament. So thank you Zhengjun for stepping up and saving the day!!”

“Zihan is amazing! She has the initiative to take care of my two cats and even my plants! She’s positive, passionate about the job and report timely for any abnormal situation. I enjoyed my holiday time and I will book her again!”

About: Hello! I’m a former RFRD Academy employee and dog trainer. I’ve worked with a wide range of breeds and have owned dogs my entire life, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I’m passionate about creating a safe, positive environment for every dog I work with. I currently work as a free lance social media manager and majority of my work is from home. I pride myself on having a home set up where I can both work and physically be there with my dogs. Safety and trust come first. Whether in my home or a client’s home, I maintain a clean, structured environment, follow feeding and walking routines, and give pets gentle, attentive care to keep them comfortable. Communication is key!
“Stephen was absolutely amazing with my cat ! I booked Stephen last minute for 6 days . I am glad he was available. I could not have found a better sitter for my cat. He made sure to feed and refill my cat’s food and water while I was gone. He sent tons of pictures and very responsible in communicating with me over the Rover app! He checked in timely and was extremely professional, he spent a lot of time playing with my cat! I will definitely book him again”

About: Hi! I’m a psychology graduate student and lifelong animal lover with experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small pets. I have experience with puppies, kittens, senior pets, and administering medications. I volunteer in animal-assisted therapy at a local shelter and love making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their family is away. I welcome pets and families of all backgrounds and identities! As a graduate student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable pet care throughout the week. I'm available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting, and I'm happy to work with your pet's routine whenever possible. I always follow your instructions closely and maintain your pet’s normal routine to help them feel secure while you're away. I provide care in your home, where your pet is most comfortable in their familiar environment.
“Mallory is fantastic! Reliable, attentive, thorough, and provided detailed updates and photos. She gave the gift of peace of mind, especially as my dog is elderly and gets a variety of medicines and ointments. I would absolutely book again.”
“Yifei was amazing with our two cats! This was our first time using Rover and our first trip away since getting them, so we were pretty nervous, but she made the whole experience stress-free. She came twice a day and always sent great photo updates along with detailed notes about how they were eating, litter box updates, and how they were doing overall, which we really appreciated. Our cats are very shy, but over the 5 days they totally warmed up to her and were even asking for pets by the end. She was super reliable, communicative, and followed all of our instructions carefully, even when we had a few updates during the stay. We felt our cats were in great hands and would absolutely book her again. Highly recommend!”

About: I’m not just a sitter. I’m a dog lover who treats every pup like family. I’ve been caring for dogs my entire life. From puppyhood to senior pups, I have a lot of experience tailoring my care according to each dog’s personality, needs, and comfort zone.Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or couch snuggles, I focus on creating routines that keep dogs engaged, healthy, and stress free. Over the years, I’ve gained experience helping dogs with separation anxiety, minor reactivity, and special medical needs (limited to administering oral and injectable medications). Open communication with pet parents is a priority for me. I provide frequent updates, including photos and videos, so you can see how your dog is doing. In order to dedicate myself completely to your pet’s care, play, and comfort, I only accept one dog at a time. However, for everyone’s comfort, I request that visiting pups get along with other dogs since my own dog, Bentley, will be part of their visit. As a full-time homemaker and dog mom, I am home all day and able to provide consistent, attentive care. Your dog will have my full attention for walks, playtime, rest, and anything else they need throughout the day. I don’t have a fenced yard, but I love taking dogs to trails and parks nearby for exercise, fun, and potty breaks. They can relax in a crate or snuggle with me on the couch/bed. Fresh filtered water is always available and treats are given as allowed.
“Laurelle is the best!! One of my cat locked himself in the bathroom and Laurelle helped him out as soon as she can. She also has a very naturally loving heart for animals. I am 100% recommended Laurelle!”
About: I've taken care of cats for 7 years, backyard cats and my own. I make sure pets feel safe and give owners peace of mind. I'm currently working part time and I have time to clean up and play with pets. Im avaliable weekdays and weekends after 11 until 10 pm. If there are pets that stay indoors I would take precautions in case they try to leave. Leashes, harness and collars stay on during walks.
About: I moved to San Jose August of 2023 from San Diego, and a few months prior to moving I worked at a dog boarding & training facility that specialized in relationship-based training. The facility offered board and train programs and I would handle the pickups, dropoffs, behavioral assessments, playtimes, training and walking sessions, feedings, medications, and also assisted with the board and train programs. At that facility, I accumulated close to 100 hours of relationship-based training with many dogs of different breeds, backgrounds, and behaviors. I am experienced with basic obedience, recall, engagement, behaviors, socialization, impulse control/ counterconditioning, and walking(leash and harness)/loose leash walking (slip lead, and gentle leader)!! I work a part time job and I would love to utilize my free time to gain more experience/time with dogs of all different backgrounds! I believe that there is always something new to learn, so I want to expand my knowledge as much as possible in this field to develop my skills and understanding more as a dog behaviorist/trainer. Message me for my availability! Thurs-Sun I work part time. But outside of my hours and days I work, I would love to sit, walk, check on, or train your pup! Message me for my exact availability, as it changes weekly. I am happy to try and pencil someone in who needs services! Most importantly with walking dogs, I value the connection and I want to establish a good relationship with any dog I have the opportunity to work with. It is my priority to make sure that your dog(s) feels safe and loved along with having a developed mutual respect for both I and the dog. And second, I will never place any dog into an environment or situation that could be harmful for the it's psychical and mental well-being. Lastly, I believe communication is essential and I will always strive for strong and open communication to help any client feel trusting of their pet being in my care. And I will happily help talk through any troubles or concerns that are expressed!
About: I've been around pet friends my entire life! I am also a proud dog parent to a rat-chi of 6 years. My experience is most with dogs, but I have been a dog and cat sitter for family and friends for several years. I welcome both dogs and cats of all age ranges, and can't wait to meet, care, and play with your fur baby! I'll have plenty of time to look after your pets in between working part time and school! I am most available on weekends, but am happy to do pet sitting, walking, and boarding on weekdays as needed. I am always available to reach via texting/phone call, and work to keep you updated for peace of mind knowing your fur baby is being well taken care of.
About: I have experience taking care of pets from hamsters to birds to cats and dogs. I know how to adapt to different personalities and requirements based on each pet. I have also taught my cat how to give a high-five and that was fun so I am open to continuing training for pets too. I currently don’t have a full time job so my availability is very flexible. I am also starting on my own exercise journey so being able to get active and meet my daily step goals alongside a furry friend sounds like a cool way to combine interests. In my own home I care for my cat by having an airtag on her and providing supervised patio time. When I take my cat on walks, I use a leash to keep her safe. For taking care of your pet, I will continue to keep an eye on them during play and make sure they dont get into any trouble by eating things they aren’t supposed too. I am good at following directions if your oet has specific instructions for their safety.
About: I’ve grown up with animals my entire life, including dogs, cats, and small pets like gerbils. I have a calm, patient, and friendly demeanor that helps me quickly build trust with animals of all personalities. As a dedicated animal lover, I treat every pet like family. I understand how important peace of mind is when you’re away, so I make it a priority to provide regular updates and photos to keep you reassured. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and pets who require medication, and I’m attentive to their individual needs and routines I am available most days out of the week, and on weekends. I currently work from home, so I can assure you that your pet will get all the attention and love they deserve! When boarding pets in my home, they are provided with a private, comfortable space in a dedicated spare bedroom to help them feel safe and relaxed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I am respectful of all household rules, maintain cleanliness, and provide regular updates and photos to ensure peace of mind while you’re away.
“Suzanne was great! I really felt I could trust her caring for my cats. She was great at communicating and even did me a solid and came a little earlier than scheduled one day when the automatic feeder didn’t go off! Appreciate her!”

“I’m so grateful for Xi’s help in taking care of my cat Hoo Hoo while I was away for five days. She went above and beyond — giving him playtime, attention, and making sure he never felt lonely. I could tell from the photos that he really enjoyed her company! Thank you, Xi, for treating him like your own.”

About: Hello! My name is Xiuhui (Sophie). I’m a dedicated dog sitter with over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs. I have a poodle of my own, so I’m very familiar with daily routines, grooming, feeding, and creating a calm, structured environment. I pay close attention to each dog’s habits, diet, and emotional needs, and follow their usual routine so they feel comfortable and secure. My goal is to provide a safe, low-stress, and loving home away from home. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and dogs who may need extra attention. Over the years, my own dog has experienced various health conditions, so I’m patient and comfortable providing gentle, attentive care when needed. I intentionally keep my boarding small (usually 1–2 dogs at a time), so each dog receives focused attention, consistent supervision, and personalized care. You’re always welcome to schedule a meet & greet to see if it’s a good fit. I spend most of my time at home, so I’m able to give dogs plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I follow a consistent routine with regular feeding, potty breaks, and light exercise. I provide a calm and comfortable environment and am best suited for dogs with moderate or lower energy levels, so they can feel relaxed and at ease during their stay. I live in a very pet-friendly apartment community. My home has a comfortable private patio where dogs can relax, enjoy fresh air, and sunbathe safely. Right downstairs, there’s a fenced dog park where dogs can safely go off-leash for potty breaks and light activity, making daily care convenient and stress-free. I always ensure dogs are in a safe, calm, and clean environment.

Katy was absolutely wonderful taking care of our Ragdoll cat, Dora, over the Independence Day holiday. She visited every day, brushed Dora to keep her coat clean and tangle-free, spent quality time playing with her, and sent us lots of photos and updates after each visit. It gave us great peace of mind knowing Dora was happy, well cared for, and getting plenty of attention while we were away. Katy is reliable, thoughtful, and clearly loves animals. We really appreciated the care she put into every visit, and we would absolutely book her again. Highly recommend!

Zihan did an excellent job of checking in on my cat while I was out of town for over a week. I appreciated the updates and pictures she provided each day and her attention to detail. She went above and beyond with keeping everything clean and perfect for when I came back.

Lucy provided excellent care of our three senior cats during our 4 day trip. She administered medication, fed, watered and cleaned up after our cats. Her reports from visits were fun, informative and made us laugh. She provided plenty of pictures to show that the cats were active, correct medication was being administered and the food/water/bathroom areas were all being kept clean. Lucy was wonderful through every step of the way and provided excellent care to our cats durning her visits!

We've been booking Laurel as our cat sitter since last November, and she's been fantastic every single time. Our cats are genuinely comfortable with her, which means a lot to us since they can be picky about who they warm up to. She sends regular updates with photos during every visit, which keeps our minds at ease while we're away. She's also incredibly reliable - this time we booked with only about 5 days' notice and she made it work without any issues. You can tell she genuinely enjoys spending time with the cats and never seems to rush through a visit. As a thoughtful touch, she'll sometimes bring them new treats or toys since ours can get bored with the same old things. We keep coming back to Laurel because we trust her completely with our cats, and we can't recommend her highly enough!

Laurel was truly the best sitter we could have ever asked for. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and took the time to really understand each of our dogs' unique needs. She cared for four dogs, including two with special needs, and handled everything with so much patience, compassion, and confidence. From accommodating all of our random requests to making sure every dog received the individual care and attention they needed, Laurel went above and beyond. It's clear she genuinely loves animals, and she's an all-around wonderful person. I can't say enough great things about Laurel. If she's available, book her—you won't regret it. She's absolutely our Rover sitter for life!

Katherine did an amazing job! I contacted her on very short notice because my sitter canceled. She was very accommodating I accidentally had the wrong address on my profile and I’m out of town with no service so the messaging process was hard. She contacted me asking how to get in since it was the wrong place the code wasn’t working. Eventually I got her messages and she was willing to go back to my new address. She did an amazing job taking care of my kitties and making sure everything was clean and they were fed. She went above and beyond and I will definitely book with her again and recommend her to others! Thank you Katherine!❤️🐱

Both my cats love Mingjie, which shows what a good sitter she is (because one of my cats is super shy but he totally remembered her from 3 months ago!) She plays with my kitties so much and takes tons of photos! I no longer have to worry when I have to go away because I know my cats are in good hands!
