About: I have a Cavapoo boy. He’s energetic and playful but needy at times. I love him so much and understand what your dogs mean to you!! I have experiences with puppies and adult dogs and am patient and detailed oriented I’m flexible during weekends for walks and play dates if you and family need to get away. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays so I’m flexible in the afternoon or early mornings! I take each furry friend seriously and aim to keep a consistent schedule. I pre scout all walking routes to avoid unsafe situations and provide you timely updates so that you know what you are expecting.

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was about 10 years old and have always loved being around animals. I have experience walking, feeding, playing with, and giving medication to dogs, including helping care for my neighbors’ dogs as well. I also have two cats, so I’m comfortable around both dogs and cats. I’m willing to help in any way I can and can’t wait to meet your pet! I just graduated from college and moved back home so I am able to help whenever you need. I am also very flexible and can work around your schedule! I always make sure pets are in a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where they feel cared for and relaxed. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, crate routines, and any specific needs or preferences the pet may have. I also make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship while their owners are away.
About: I have lived with animals (mostly dogs and one cat) my entire life. I started off with taking care of my own dogs and then volunteered at shelters throughout high school and undergraduate school. I have house sat and animal sat for friends and family off and on since 2022. I've watched over a range of animal personalities from very excitable and energetic to reactive and anxious. I also find it very important to maintain grooming, hygiene, and activity/mental stimulation for your pets. I do not have experience with dog training, however, I have successfully trained my own dogs with basic commands. I moved out to the Bay Area 2 years ago to be a full-time PhD student at Palo Alto University. While I do have work and school, I am remote most days in the week (Thursday through Monday), so I can dedicate the time and care your pet needs :) I appreciate having an average schedule including times they go outside, walks, feeding, and hygiene so I can help your pet have as smooth of a transition as possible. I tend to follow your pet's cues and slowly build the trust between us. I love giving them affection while maintaining the training and expectations you have. I like to take pictures and/or videos for you so you can get your daily dose of your pet!
“I was so nervous to find a new dog sitter when I moved, and I was in contact with multiple sitters and had a meet and greet and was feeling discouraged. I set up a meet and greet with Stephanie and from the moment she spent time with Dodge and I I knew she was the one. She was patient kind sweet and gave Dodge all the time he needed to get adjusted to her. While I was away, she gave updates at every drop in visit sent so many adorable photos and was very communicative. I know that I have found my new sitter when I am away! She is truly amazing!”

“5 stars! Tingting & Willow were fabulous cat sitters. Excellent communication, paid attention to details, and sent pictures daily of Mary. I highly recommend them!”

About: I work from home full-time, so your dog will get plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. I have a private courtyard and medium-sized backyard where dogs can safely relax and play. I’m patient, friendly, and genuinely enjoy spending quality time with dogs — not just watching them, but actively engaging with them and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I’m new to Rover, but I’ve spent a lot of time caring for my cousin’s dog, including helping with basic training and good behavior. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality and energy level so they get the care they need. I work from home as a freelancer, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give pets attention throughout the day. I’m able to take breaks for walks, playtime, and check-ins, so your dog won’t be left alone for long. In my home, I have a private mid-size courtyard and a medium-sized backyard where dogs can safely get fresh air and play. I make sure they get regular walks, playtime, and attention throughout the day.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and been comfortable with them all my life. I love dogs and recently dog sat for my parents and their 2 older dogs for 3 weeks. Currently I am at home for summer before going back to school in September. My schedule is pretty open with lots of free time throughout the day. I generally start my day by greeting the dogs and feeding them before checking to make sure they have water. With my older dogs who need their medication I’ll bury it in their food to make sure they eat it. Later on I’ll take them out on a walk to get their exercise. When we get back I’ll give them a treat and some pets before going on to whatever else I need to do.
“We were leaving abroad for about two months. I’m very grateful to have found Weichen on Rover to take care of my cat. Weichen was very easy to communicate with and always thoughtful and considerate throughout the entire time. I really appreciated the care and attention given to my cat, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. I’m very grateful for the help and would absolutely trust Weichen to take care of my cat again in the future. I highly recommend Weichen to anyone looking for a dependable and caring pet sitter on Rover.”

About: We are a pet-loving family of three including one responsible, homebody teenager. We enjoy making canine friends by fostering from California Doodle Rescue and Doggy Protective Services (DPS). My husband works part time and spends most of the day at home as does my teenage son. Our favorite activity with our furry guests is to go on multiple daily walks around our neighborhood park a mere 100 yards away. When at home, our furry friends have access to frolicking and playing in 9000 SF of fully fenced in back yard. We are restricting our doggy care to one dog at a time, unless you have multiple canines because we want to focus specifically upon the needs of you and your treasured pet first. Your pet will enjoy three walks a day around the park and neighborhood, fed according to their normal schedule, and exercised or played with throughout the day. If you’d like, we would be happy to send you photos and videos of your pets vacation with us.
“Laura did an amazing job taking care of my Roxie! She was able to come through last minute when a different sitter fell through at the last moment before I had to leave town. She always informed me when arriving and if there were any issues. I would highly recommend her especially if you have a senior dog. She took extra good care of her!!”

About: I have over 23 years of experience as a dog owner, caring for both small and large breeds. In addition to my own pets, I’ve provided dog sitting for friends, neighbors, and family. I’m comfortable with different temperaments and energy levels, and I always focus on keeping pets safe, happy, and well cared for. My experience allows me to adapt to each dog’s unique needs and routine, ensuring they feel comfortable and loved while you’re away. I am usually home from work by 2:30 PM, which gives me plenty of time in the afternoon and evening for walks, feeding, playtime, and attention. I provide a safe, comfortable, and caring environment for pets in my home. I have a fenced backyard and a dog door that leads to a secure space where dogs can go outside to relieve themselves as needed. I can also crate your dog if that is part of their routine. At this time, we do not have any dogs at home, as our beloved 14-year-old dog recently passed, which allows me to give my full attention to your pet. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their established routines closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions, to ensure pets feel comfortable and well cared for in their familiar environment.
About: I have dogs of my own, so I understand firsthand the routines, care, and little quirks of different breeds and personalities. I stay attentive to any signs of stress or discomfort, and I make sure every dog feels right at home. My schedule is quite flexible, which means I can be fully present for your dog throughout the day — not just squeezing in a quick visit between other commitments. I build in time for walks, feeding, and playtime at consistent intervals, and I’m happy to adjust based on your dog’s specific routine, whether that’s an early morning walk or an evening cuddle session before bed In my home (boarding): I treat every dog like a guest in the family. They have access to a comfortable, safe space, regular potty breaks, feeding on their normal schedule, and plenty of playtime and cuddles throughout the day. I keep a close eye on their behavior and mood to make sure they’re settling in comfortably, and I’m happy to follow any specific instructions around diet, medication, or routine. In your home (drop-in visits): I follow your dog’s established routine as closely as possible — feeding, fresh water, and enough playtime or a short walk to keep them active and happy. I make sure the home is secure before I leave and always update you with photos or a quick note so you know how the visit went. Walks: I focus on a safe, well-paced walk suited to your dog’s energy level and age, keeping them on a secure leash and staying alert to other animals, traffic, or anything that might make them anxious.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, houses, children, and more since I was 15. I’ve always loved animals as well as helping people out when they need it so this opened many opportunities for me at a young age to take care of pets for the people around me. Through networking with those people I was able to extend further and meet more people to provide care for. I have multiple years of experience dog sitting and walking, cat sitting, and house sitting in addition to raising my own pets over the years. There is no pet I couldn’t come to love and enjoy being around and I love how taking care of them can also enrich my own experiences and knowledge about animals! I can walk and care for small dogs to large dogs as long as they aren’t completely without basic training. I also have experience caring for elderly/sick dogs and cats including following specific feeding concerns and keeping up with medicines. I recently graduated college and am unemployed so I have plenty of time to spare for your pet! I am open to any walking length and am flexible with times and days. I also have plenty of experience house sitting and taking care of pets in their own homes/environment. I am great at keeping routines and following a schedule so caring for pets fits perfectly into my day! I take instructions and guidelines seriously when taking care of people’s pets so I make sure to follow them accordingly and carefully. I utilize whatever resources made available by clients to take better care of their pet. I also always make sure pets are comfortable with me and that I can properly understand and care for their needs! Whether a pet needs a slower walking pace, longer or shorter walks, specific food, or needs certain conditions to be comfortable or safe in their home I make sure to accommodate their needs.

About: What sets me apart is that I genuinely enjoy spending calm, attentive time with animals and focusing on their comfort and routine. “Yu-Wen did a great job caring for our cats. Typically Yuki and Akira are shy and run from new people. My husband and I could tell from the first pictures Yu-Wen sent us, our girls were very comfortable and happy. You-Wen kept us well informed on how are girls were doing. We highly recommend him and we do plan to book him in the future.”

About: I've been taking care of friends cats and dogs for years. Working remotely provides me the ability to house sit and spend quality time to care for my friends and families animals and Rover just seems like a natural fit to help others allow for their pets to stay in their natural environment (their home) when their human's are out of town. Not only will I feed your Fur Family members, I'll play with them and bond with them. I look forward to meeting your dogs and cats...and you as well. P.S. I have a special place in my heart for the elderly Fur Babies and have the patience required to care for them as well. Currently I'm studying for a new career, so online real estate school allows for me to be available mostly all of the time. I can study when house-sitting with your Fur Family member and it also allows for me to stop in for feedings or walks as well. I've been sitting for a long time for friends and family. I literally have keys to many friends homes, to make it possible to not have to meet prior to their departure. I sit for these friends so often they have told me to keep a key. I am on top of feeding times and restroom breaks, or even walks but I also build friendships with these fur-babies. Watching TV or sitting in the backyard...I pay and love on these amazing pups and cats. I connect with animals very well and quickly, they become a part of my family to some extent, I look forward to sitting for my friends and getting the opportunity to spend time with their family member/s (their cats or dogs). I look forward to caring for your pet as well!!

Rachel is an exceptional cat sitter, and I cannot recommend her highly enough! While we were abroad for a month, she took wonderful care of our two cats—one indoor and one outdoor. Her frequent communication throughout our trip gave us total peace of mind, knowing that both our home and our kitties were in wonderful hands so we could relax and enjoy our vacation. Midway through our trip, our outdoor cat suffered an infection, likely from a fight. Rachel spotted the issue right away, alerted us to the medical emergency, and coordinated seamlessly with us and our neighbor to get the cat to his vet. Following his surgery, she attentively administered his daily medications and sent detailed updates after every visit. We were deeply grateful for how carefully and lovingly she handled the entire situation, treating our cat as if he were her own. Rachel is truly top-notch, and we will without a doubt be rebooking her for all our future pet sitting needs!
I highly recommend Dana for any pet sitting needs! She was an AMAZING pet sitter for our 3 fur babies! Dana has such a calm presence, the animals just gravitate to her. Even our cat engaged with her on the first "meet and greet" visit and he normally hides from strangers. In addition, Dana was able to brush our Collie, who HATES being brushed. She truly cared for our pets as if they were her own and on top of all that, she takes great pictures (our Golden is such a ham). We looked forward to her updates and pictures each day. I know our pets will be excited to see her when we book with her again!

Tingting & Willow not only came through at the last minute, but they were super communicative and took really great care of our kitties while we were out of town. They are thoughtful and thorough, I’ve never gotten so many photos of our pets and care process while we’re gone. It was great, and they clearly love working with animals.

Angelina was so great with my two cats. One of my cats is difficult sometimes but Angelia was patient and the cat eventually warmed up to her. She also helped keep the house secure which gave us peace of mind. I highly recommend Angelina for pet sitting without worry!

Thank you so much for the wonderful care. It looks like Misty was under great care. She looked as happy as usual at my return. I definitely look forward asking more help in the future. It is very relief to have such a good cat caregiver like Sophie nearby 😻😻😻.
Natasha did a great job with my boys! She gives you detailed updates and doesn’t hesitate to ask questions to make sure she gives them the best care. She pays attention to details and makes sure she gets to know the unique personality traits of each dog. The boys just love her! Thank you Natasha!
