This means I’m home every day and able to provide consistent, 100% attention and love to your pets. I’m fully available for walks, feedings, drop-ins, and even last-minute bookings. Your pets will always have company, comfort, and care throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Whether I’m doing drop-in visits, day care, or boarding in my home. I provide a clean, pet-friendly environment and always follow your pet’s routine to keep them happy and stress-free. I’ll also use the same disinfectant that veterinary clinics usually use to sanitize my home after finishing each boarding stay, helping prevent any potential cross-pet infections. It’s pet-safe and effective. With my animal science background and clinical experience, I’m confident in handling medications, special needs, and spotting early signs of illness. I treat every pet like family and always keep you updated with messages and photos.

Please also note that I CANNOT accept the following restricted breeds (or any mix of them): Pit Bulls (including American Staffordshire Terriers and Staffordshire Bull Terriers), Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Huskies, Alaskan Malamutes, Doberman Pinschers, Chow Chows, Great Danes, St. Bernards, Akitas, Beauceron, and Belgian Malinois.
A typical day
A typical day with your pet is filled with play, comfort, and lots of love! I’m lucky to have a fenced yard in my apartment, where dogs can safely run around and play off-leash. They always have so much fun exploring and getting their energy out! For even more adventure, I also take them on drives in my dedicated “dog” car to nearby dog parks for longer, fun walks and social time. Whether it’s a relaxing day at home or an exciting outing, I make sure every pet has a happy and engaging experience with me. Throughout their stay, I’ll provide plenty of pictures so you can see how they’re doing. I also send regular updates and daily routine reports, either every day or every other day, depending on the length of their stay. Your pet’s happiness, comfort, and safety are always my top priorities!

Your Pets’ Full-Time Companion
Pet care experience
My journey began with my first puppy, who I lovingly walked daily, bathed with care, and shared my home and heart with. This deep bond inspired me to pursue a degree in Animal Science at UC Davis, where I specialized in companion animals and gained comprehensive knowledge of pet health, behavior, and care. Throughout my undergraduate years, I volunteered and interned at numerous shelters and clinics, where I assisted with surgery prep and recovery, microchipping, post-op care, feeding, and cleaning. These experiences sharpened my ability to recognize early signs of illness and deliver calm, capable care—even in medical situations. At home, I care for two adopted cats who were originally rescued from a shelter. I’ve provided them with a safe, loving environment ever since they first arrived as house-sitting guests. Whether it’s walking dogs, managing senior or special-needs pets, or offering overnight stays, I treat every animal as if they were my own—with patience, attention, and genuine love.

Reviews

Really attentive to our two cats, especially one with medical issues. Sent a LOT of pictures of the cats so we didn't miss them (as much...) while we were gone. Also helped with an issue after our power went out. Already recommended Alice to a neighbor.

Alice is a wonderful sitter! She performed the requested duties competently and sent us informative daily updates and photos. She also cleaned up some vomit on a rug, which we really appreciated. And one of our cats obviously loved her (the other one always hides from strangers—although Alice did find him under the bed and gave him treats). Book her, she’s great!

The best! My shy kitties loved her and were super well taken care of! Highly recommend.
This was my first time leaving my 6 month old kittens overnight so I was a little nervous, especially because they can be timid around "strangers." Within the first couple of drop-in visits they were feeling comfortable with Alice, and she sent me plenty of updates and photos to ease my mind while I was gone. Will definitely use Alice next time I have to go away!
