“I am pretty sure Jeter wants to move in with Leah. A friend who usually sits for Jeter had to cancel with less than a week’s notice and I was worried about how he would do with someone new. I definitely didn’t have to worry. Leah’s home is all about the pups with so many beds, blankets and even a warming pad! I got lots of updates which assured me Jeter had made himself right at home (for better or for worse 😆.) Knowing Jeter was happy, safe and loved in Leah’s care gave us huge peace of mind since we were all the way across the country. He even had a little cav companion which was icing on the cake. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. I have a super friendly but needy beagle, so I know what it takes. I treat our dog like a child. My home is setup with a lot of dog beds and lounge areas. I live in a very walkable area with a small secluded dog park nearby. I work from home so I’m flexible during the day on weekdays. On average I am available every other weekend. About: I have taken care of my own pets since I was 5 years old and house/pet sat for multiple family friends over the course of 10 years. I have administered medicine to senior cats and dogs who needed extra love and care to continue living strong and healthy lives. I am currently working part time but have plenty of time to care for your pets. I am available Monday, Tuesday, and Saturdays all day. I have 2 big dogs and 2 cats in my home and they have a big yard to play in and I also have harnesses and backpacks to take my cats on walks so I’m familiar with how to use them. As for caring for your pet in your home I will clean up after your pet, feed them when needed, and walk/play with them outside as much as they want!

“Meredith was the best dog-sitter we could've asked for! For the last 5 years, our two dogs (german short-haired pointer and cattle dog mix) have stayed with family when we traveled. Since our family would be attending our wedding it meant they wouldn't be able to watch the dogs, so it was a big deal for us to find and trust somebody new. We had a meet and greet with Meredith where it was immediately clear that watching our dogs would be her #1 priority while they were there, and my anxiety level noticeably decreased. Then leading up to the actual boarding dates, we had the perfect storm of doggie ailments... Our GSP ate a peach pit that had to be surgically removed a few weeks prior and our cattle dog mix had an arthritis flair-up that severely affected her appetite and limited her movement. Meredith didn't flinch when we told her our GSP was on the tail-end of healing from surgery or when we provided her with a hodge podge of different foods for our picky girl, just to make sure she would eat something. She also went above and beyond and picked up meat to cook and feed our pup when she wouldn't eat the other items and hand-fed her at times to ensure she was getting nutrition. It breaks my heart to see my dog not eating because of pain, and kills me even more to leave her in another's care like that, but Meredith was the best I could've asked for in our situation and did an excellent job taking care of both of them. Between our GSP's ENDLESS energy, and our fearful cattle dog mix that can be reactive, they can be a handful even when fully healthy! We are SO SO appreciative that Meredith took such great care of them and we'd absolutely have her watch them again!”
