“Yumei has been walking Loki while I’m out of state for work m and it’s been wonderful from the very first day. My mom says Loki gets so excited to go with her like he’s known her forever. It’s clear she genuinely enjoys walking him too. They just seem happy together every time. Highly recommend everyone to book with Yumei if you want a great experience and safety one for your pups.”

“Aivy was a great dog walker for our leash reactive pup. She was patient and provided me with feedback about each walk. She worked with Cleo’s reactivity issues and made a ton of progress with our sweet girl. I will definitely hire her again!”

About: I’ve taken care of my friends and families dogs for years and absolutely love doing so. Everything from overnights in your home to drop ins for walks and potty breaks, your best friend is in good hands My schedule is very flexible and I am available to take care of your best friend at very short notice. I pride myself on being dependable and caring. I appreciate knowing all of the details about your best friend. What is their temperament, do they like long walks or snuggles? Is your cat playful or shy? Every detail helps me take the absolute best care of your best friend.
“Shawna is so great!! Excellent at communicating. Goose had such an amazing time on their walks this weekend. We didn’t have to worry about Goose while we were away because we knew he was in excellent hands. Thank you, Shawna!”

About: For most of my High School education I had watched The Dog Whisperer religiously, which helped to ingrain my love for animals especially towards canines. I slowly began to pursue fields in which I could help surround myself with animals and careers pertaining to animals. I started after high school and became a volunteer at the San Jose Animal Care Services located on Monterey Rd. in San José. I was working on the side while going to school as I volunteered to help compensate the volunteer hours. As a designated dog walker I was introduced to small toy dogs down to 4 pounds up to larger breeds ranging upwards of 100 pounds. I am located in a single-family residence in a suburban enclave in Evergreen. We have a fenced backyard with lots of space to stretch out and enjoy the outdoors. The local elementary school is a 5-minute walk away, featuring its own walking trail and a fenced grass area. Animal care is my second nature. I can understand body signs and cues when it comes to how an animal is feeling and the best way to approach them. I've held up against big dogs all the way down to the little ones. Each animal is unique. The most important thing is love and respect.
“Son was great! His response time is awesome, was available for a meet and greet last minute. Sent amazing pictures and videos! Gave lots of updates. Will definitely use Son again for future help!”

“I’m glad Kim was our first experience with Rover because we are dog sitting a potential second dog for our household, and it was important to us that we gave exercise to our puppy. He was professional and gave updates along the way from arrival to completion. Definitely more than satisfied with his services and will be rebooking!”

About: Experienced dog handler and bather while in training to become a groomer! I am experienced with dog behavior, medication administration and overnight shifts. I have a calm approach with all dogs! I love the big softies, love their energy. And the little guys never fail to steal my heart. Every dog amazes me with their intelligence! I have also successfully trained a German shepherd with my family and I would be happy to talk about giving your pups a bath while sitting. I currently work 3 jobs as a bather, a handler and a sitter here on rover. I am a single mother and i love getting a chance to housesit and be with animals while they are in their natural habitat. Working in a daycare and grooming salon is amazing and rewarding but there is nothing like getting to spend time with them one on one. I love my work and hope to hear from you where we can discuss all details. I will always come with a doggy first aid kit and knowledge of dog/pack behavior, and I have been trained to break up dog fights in the event of any instances out in public or at home.

About: I have experience caring for cats and dogs and understand that every pet has their own personality and routine. I’m attentive, patient, and responsible, and I love giving pets plenty of playtime, affection, and companionship. I have hands on experience caring for my own cat, including feeding, litter box care, playtime, grooming, and paying attention to changes in behavior or routine. I also have experience pet sitting for family and friends and also make sure their pet feels right at home with collecting information like their favorite treats and toys. I’m currently working part time and attending school, so my availability varies by day. I’m happy to coordinate around your pet’s needs and can provide attentive care during my available hours. I’m especially available for drop ins and walks in the afternoons, evenings, and on weekends. I am also available for boarding on weekends! Pets staying with me will be cared for in a clean, comfortable, and pet friendly home. I have my own cat, Pooshi, so I’m familiar with providing consistent feeding, litter box care, playtime, and attention. I’ll follow each pet’s routine and instructions closely and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for throughout their stay. I also do have a big room available for pets to sleep and play in with plenty of toys. I have a big backyard which is fenced and completely safe for any animals. I have experience in boarding and dog sitting so playing with dogs and following their routines will not be hard for me. I'm also careful about introductions and will only accept pets whose temperament and needs are a good fit for my home.
About: I have a great love for dogs, no matter what shape or size. I have grown up living in a household with small to medium dogs and other furry animals. I understand how much pets can affect you in a good way. I have had the privilege of taking care of older dogs, dogs with medication and even a puppy. Recently, in past two years, i have had the opportunity to also care of a cat plus a big beautiful german Shepard. My goal is to ensure and comfort your dog while you are away. I will keep the dog(s) on their regular, training routine to the specific detail you tell me. I do community service part time which is regular in my life. I am willing to have a fixed or flexible schedule for short-term jobs. Not available Sunday mornings or Tuesday nights for meet and greet. My goal is to keep your pet safe and comfortable while at the same time keep your home just as you had left it before your vacation. I had a maltipoo. She was loud when you first meet her but really shy. Also friendly enough to hold on to. She is potty trained and knows some commands. With other dogs she gets a long with them, and she just needs to warm up to them because of shyness. I kept her on dog food not human food and she weighs less than 10 lbs. She would run around and play with the younger dogs but also mellow down with the older dogs.

About: Hi! I’m Marisela, a lifelong dog lover and proud dog mom to two 5-year-old pups—a Pit Bull and a Doberman—so I’m very comfortable caring for larger, strong, and energetic dogs! I also have experience caring for smaller dogs and understand that every pup has their own personality, routine, and needs. I’ve cared for dogs while their owners were away, including walking them, feeding them, keeping them company, and making sure they get plenty of love and attention. As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to feel like your pets are in good hands when you can’t be there. I’ll treat your dog the way I’d want someone to treat mine—with patience, attention, affection, and respect for their normal routine. Whether your dog wants a good walk, some playtime, or just someone to hang out with and give them belly rubs, I’m happy to be their person while you’re away. And yes, I’m absolutely the type to send you cute pictures and updates so you know how they’re doing! 🐾 I work part-time at a supermarket Wednesday through Saturday from 11 AM–4 PM, so my schedule is very consistent and predictable. On those days, I’m available for morning and evening walks or drop-ins, and I have much more flexibility Sunday through Tuesday. Pet care fits naturally into my routine since I already have two dogs of my own and caring for animals is a part of my everyday life! When caring for your pet in your home, I’ll do my best to keep their normal routine as consistent as possible. I can handle walks, feeding, fresh water, playtime, litter box or potty needs, medications when needed, and plenty of attention and affection. I’ll also respect your home, follow any instructions you leave, and send photos and updates so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away.

About: Your dog’s vacation starts when you leave! I’ve been my family’s designated dog sitter for the past 8 years—and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’ve cared for my grandma’s Maltese while she’s spent months in Mexico, and I’ve also loved taking care of my sister’s German Shepherd and Goldendoodle. Big or small, fluffy or goofy, I treat every dog like family (because that’s exactly what they are). Expect lots of love, playtime, and a few extra compliments. Fair warning though…your dog might come back with a new favorite human 🙌 Currently in between jobs so definitely don’t mind spending my free time with dogs. Could do part time or full time if needed right now. I’m big on cleanliness indoors or outdoors, fitness/fun activities since I’m a fit person myself, and just enjoying quality time with any dogs
About: I’ve been the go-to pet person in my circle for years! Friends, family, and neighbors call me when they need someone reliable, patient, and genuinely excited to hang out with their pets. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, overnights, or keeping up with detailed routines, I take pride in making pets feel safe, loved, and completely at ease while you’re away. What sets me apart from other sitters is the level of attention and emotional awareness I bring. As an empath, I don’t just “watch” pets, I learn their personalities. Are they high-energy zoomie champions? Velcro dogs? Secret snack negotiators? I adjust my care style to fit *them* so they stay happy and stress-free. I have experience with puppies who need structure, consistency, and patience (potty training, leash manners, crate routines), as well as senior dogs who deserve a slower pace, gentle handling, and medication support. I’m also very comfortable with anxious or shy pets and use calm, positive approaches to build trust at their speed. My goal is simple: happy pets, lots of tail wags, and owners who can relax knowing their furry family member is in caring, capable hands. Plus, you’ll always get photo updates because I know being away is the hardest part :) My schedule is thoughtfully balanced between two of my personal businesses—pet care and swim instruction. I’m a professional swim instructor during parts of the day, which means I may be in the water or teaching lessons for a few hours at a time, depending on the day of the week. Because of this, I build my pet care schedule very intentionally to make sure every animal in my care gets consistent attention, exercise, and quality time. Pet care isn’t just something I “fit in”—it’s a core part of my work and something I genuinely care about. Balancing both businesses allows me to stay active, responsible, and fully present in the care I provide. My care style really comes down to one thing: keeping pets happy, comfortable, and on their normal routine, just with me stepping in as their temporary human. In a client’s home, I treat your space with the same respect I’d want for my own. I stick closely to feeding schedules, walk times, medications, play routines, and any “house rules” your pet knows (or thinks they can bend). I keep things clean, calm, and secure so your pet feels safe in their familiar environment. If pets are staying in my home, they get a cozy, supervised environment with lots of attention, exercise, and downtime based on their energy level. I make sure introductions, rest spaces, and routines are handled thoughtfully so everyone feels comfortable. I'll most likely end up snuggling your pet too! :)
About: What sets me apart is the love and attention I give to every pet. I treat them like family, making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I go the extra mile with walks, playtime, and snuggles, while keeping owners updated with regular pictures and messages. Your pet’s comfort and happiness are always my top priority. I work part time, which gives me plenty of free time to care for pets. I’m available most mornings, making it easy to schedule walks, drop-ins, or cuddles when your pets need them most. I’m also flexible and can adjust to fit your pet’s routine, especially during weekdays and weekends. If pets stay in my home, I make sure they feel comfortable and part of the family—lots of playtime, walks, and snuggles. If I’m caring for pets in your home, I’ll follow their normal routine so they feel safe and relaxed. I always keep things clean, stick to feeding schedules, and send updates so you don’t have to worry while you’re away.
About: I have pet training experience. Im training my own dog. I’m comfortable reinforcing basic obedience, supporting early puppy training, and helping pets build good habits through positive, consistent routine. I treat every pet like family with genuine love. I am working from home. I’m able to give pets consistent attention throughout the day and play time. My work schedule is flexible and I live near a park to take your dog for a nice walk. I also have longlines so your dog would have the freedom to explore at the park with control and safety. Pets staying with me enjoy a safe, comfortable, and structured environment. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can play, explore, and get plenty of fresh air. My own playful, well‑mannered dog makes a great built‑in buddy for social dogs who enjoy company. I always supervise play to make sure everyone feels safe and has a positive experience. Inside the home, pets have a calm, clean space to relax. I follow each pet’s feeding, potty, and exercise routines closely so their stay feels familiar and stress‑free. Whether a dog needs active playtime, quiet cuddles, or a mix of both, I adjust my care to match their personality and comfort level.

“I have been very happy with Isabel since day 1. She was willing to have a meet and greet, and my skittish new rescue took to her right away. She’s been kind and patient with him, I so appreciate her carrying him out of the building as the lobby and traffic scare him. I can tell he feels comfortable around her and I know she is observant of his comfort level out on their walks. Isabel communicates well and is very professional. I’m glad we found her!”

Yumei has been walking Loki while I’m out of state for work m and it’s been wonderful from the very first day. My mom says Loki gets so excited to go with her like he’s known her forever. It’s clear she genuinely enjoys walking him too. They just seem happy together every time. Highly recommend everyone to book with Yumei if you want a great experience and safety one for your pups.

Austin was great with my dog Kreed. He kept me updated, sent photos from the walks, and made sure Kreed got some water after. He was easy to communicate with and clearly cared about making sure my dog was comfortable, especially with how hot it’s been lately. Kreed seemed to really like him, and everything went smoothly. I’d definitely book with Austin again. Thanks!!!

Son was a great walker for my parents dog while she (the dog) was staying with me for a few weeks! He made sure to follow her pace and provided fantastic reports for each of her walks. He was kind to her and understanding of her needs, and provided photos and info about each walk. Definitely would have him walk for us again in the future!

Elizabeth was absolutely lovely! We had a wonderful meet and greet, Carly took to her immediately and she doesn't do that with everyone. Elizabeth checked in and sent photos. When I got home it was clear that she had taken wonderful care of my pup. I will absolutely have her again.

Always a pleasure working with Jae! My dog got into something he shouldn’t have the night before a walk so I decided to stay home the next day to monitor symptoms. At our request, Jae kindly canceled our scheduled walk last minute. I greatly appreciate the flexibility!

I highly recommend Thy as a dog walker. She is very professional and is an excellent communicator as well. She pays attention to details and asks questions pertaining to caring for my dog and I can tell that she cares about how well she does her job. Best of all, she shows lots of love to Tobi. We’re lucky to have her!!
