“Yumei has been walking Loki while I’m out of state for work m and it’s been wonderful from the very first day. My mom says Loki gets so excited to go with her like he’s known her forever. It’s clear she genuinely enjoys walking him too. They just seem happy together every time. Highly recommend everyone to book with Yumei if you want a great experience and safety one for your pups.”

About: I have cared for pets since childhood, bringing over 30 years of hands-on experience with dogs, cats, and small animals. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. Cats & Medication: Mom to 2 cats and known among friends as a "cat whisperer." Skilled in reading feline cues and administering medication gently and reliably. Dogs of All Sizes: Extensive experience raising and handling everything from energetic Jack Russells, Chihuahuas, and Pomeranians to strong breeds like Dobermans. Safety First: Dependable, attentive care with consistent photo updates so you always have peace of mind while away. I have a flexible full time job where I work occasionally in Santa Clara or from home in downtown San Jose. I have access to a car. I can provide regular updates via photo and text and make sure I have a clear understanding of how best to take care of your furry loved ones.
About: I have grown up around animals my whole life, including caring for cats and dogs. I’ve helped care for family dogs and raised my own cat, Salem, since he was a kitten. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. I’m experienced with feeding schedules, playtime, cleaning, giving attention, and creating a safe and comfortable environment for pets. I treat every animal with the same patience, love, and care I give my own. I am currently home for the summer with a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pet care. I can provide regular check-ins, playtime, feeding routines, and companionship while making sure each pet feels comfortable and cared for. I prioritize safety, patience, and creating a comfortable environment for every pet I care for. I follow each owner’s instructions closely, respect their home and routines, and provide updates so owners feel confident their pets are happy, safe, and receiving loving care.
“Rachel was great with my high energy dog on our meet and greet and even took her for a quick practice walk. The day of the walk was very hot and she took care to keep her in the shade but still get her outside and engage with her. She’s also very communicative and responsive.”

“Zola is awesome! Super communicative and the dogs seem to love her. She was super flexible in adding an extra day for walks at the last minute. So glad that she’ll be walking my dogs regularly.”

“Shawna is so great!! Excellent at communicating. Goose had such an amazing time on their walks this weekend. We didn’t have to worry about Goose while we were away because we knew he was in excellent hands. Thank you, Shawna!”

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs, from the very small to very big! I was fortunate enough to grow up with a black lab of 16 years and my aging feline I still see when I visit my parents on the east coast. I’m athletic and affectionate with a flexible schedule - I’d love to care for your little loved ones the way they need. Currently, I work part time in Mountain View and live and attend school in San Jose. I’m looking for small jobs so my availability is pretty flexible. I am fully available Thursdays through Sundays. I live in an HOA that has a private and quiet environment for walking and playing. My townhouse has the space for your pet. Additionally, I like going to SJSU for more of an open space to play and relax as well.
“Grace did a wonderful job looking after our golden retriever 3x a day. She was attentive to his needs, and quick to respond whenever we messaged her while on our trip. Updates were given on every walk that included photos/videos. I highly recommend her services!”

About: Hello! My name is Xiuhui (Sophie). I’m a dedicated dog sitter with over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs. I have a poodle of my own, so I’m very familiar with daily routines, grooming, feeding, and creating a calm, structured environment. I pay close attention to each dog’s habits, diet, and emotional needs, and follow their usual routine so they feel comfortable and secure. My goal is to provide a safe, low-stress, and loving home away from home. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and dogs who may need extra attention. Over the years, my own dog has experienced various health conditions, so I’m patient and comfortable providing gentle, attentive care when needed. I intentionally keep my boarding small (usually 1–2 dogs at a time), so each dog receives focused attention, consistent supervision, and personalized care. You’re always welcome to schedule a meet & greet to see if it’s a good fit. I spend most of my time at home, so I’m able to give dogs plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I follow a consistent routine with regular feeding, potty breaks, and light exercise. I provide a calm and comfortable environment and am best suited for dogs with moderate or lower energy levels, so they can feel relaxed and at ease during their stay. I live in a very pet-friendly apartment community. My home has a comfortable private patio where dogs can relax, enjoy fresh air, and sunbathe safely. Right downstairs, there’s a fenced dog park where dogs can safely go off-leash for potty breaks and light activity, making daily care convenient and stress-free. I always ensure dogs are in a safe, calm, and clean environment.

“Zhengjun is amazing! She’s very reliable and great with communication, always sending lots of photos and updates. My dog absolutely loves her. I’m so grateful for her extra care on rainy days, making sure my dog is clean and dry before heading back into his crate. Highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a thoughtful and caring walker!”

About: I absolutely love animals and have been caring for, and looking after dogs, cats, (and any animals in-between) since i was very young!! I’m super comfortable handling & caring for dogs and have cared for dogs as small as 10 pounds and dogs as big as 130!! I had childhood pup who was a pitbull and we raised him from a puppy so i have lots of experience with high-energy dogs and larger and stronger breeds. I also understand the importance of structure, patience, and positive reinforcement. My experience with him taught me how to build trust, maintain consistency, and support a dog’s needs at every stage! I have experience with senior dogs, reactive dogs, needy dogs, shy dogs, puppies, ect. so there is a large spectrum of animals i’m able to care for :) I’d love to provide the attention & care your fur babies need!! Pet care fits into my routine while i am in between jobs & going to school so it is my full-time job as of right now. I’m usually free to book any days during the week which gives me plenty of time for longer visits and dedicated care. On busier personal days, I’m still willing to schedule drop-ins, walks, and check-ins around my daily routine, and make sure each pet gets consistent attention and care. I’m organized, reliable, and always plan my schedule to prioritize the pets I’m responsible for!! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow their normal routine as closely as possible. I take time to understand each pet’s feeding schedule, exercise needs, & any special instructions or preferences. I make sure they have fresh water, a clean space, and plenty of attention. My priority is to make pets feel safe, calm, and comfortable while their owners are away!

About: I’ve cared for my 2 big babies for about 8 years now. At first I had only one dog, then she got pregnant and I helped deliver all her babies at home. We found homes for all of them, but we kept one. So now they are mother and daughter duo. I’m currently open to work from 10 am to 5 pm from Monday through Friday. Please consider me to take care of your fur baby when you’re away from home. At home I have two loving dogs that are freed to roam everywhere. They are friendly with people just not so much other fur babies.
About: I truly love animals. I am that person that will pull over on a busy road or highway to save an animal or bring a lost animal home until I find the parents. Your fur baby's well-being is my top priority! I've had dogs my entire life and have raised them from puppies to seniors. I trained my puppies with patience, consistency and positive reinforcement and cared for them as seniors with gentleness and compassion. I am not afraid to clean up accidents or messes (I've done it all, lol) and I can administer topical and oral medications. I have also cared for other types of animals such as reptiles, amphibians, birds, fish and rodents should you need care for them as well. Please choose the cat care services for other animals. Please no aggressive or poisonous animals. I work part-time from home so I have plenty of time to care for your fur babies. I am available weekdays from 11am - 10pm and some weekends from 11am - 10pm. Rest assured that while visiting your pet/s at home, I will check that they are well, have water and food (based on their feeding schedule) and that they get plenty of affection. Upon leaving your pet/s, I will make sure they are secure in the home and that any pet messes are cleaned up. I will also send Rover Cards and occasional pictures of our pawsome visits!
About: I’ve cared for rescue dogs for more than 15 years, and I currently have three friendly dogs at home. I’m used to all kinds of personalities—shy, energetic, or senior—and I make sure every pup feels safe, comfortable, and at home. I’m attentive, patient, and committed to giving each dog the care, structure, and affection they need to feel relaxed and happy during their stay. I have open availability and spend most of the day at home, so dogs are rarely left alone. Caring for my 3-month-old baby keeps me on a home-based routine, which means your pup will always have supervision, company, and plenty of time for walks, play, and relaxation in a calm, safe environment. I have a large fenced backyard where dogs can run freely and safely. My friendly dogs love having visitors, and we always do slow, calm introductions. We follow each owner’s routines closely and can crate your dog if needed. I make sure every pup feels safe, supervised, and comfortable—just like part of the family
About: Saturday Grace has been an avid cat-lover all their life. They currently live with mostly senior cats and have lots of experience with subcutaneous fluids, medication, and general senior cuddling. But fear not! Saturday has also fostered many kittens, including those abandoned by their mamas and in need of bottle feeding. Saturday is an all ages cat-carer. Saturday has recently discovered their love of dogs as well. They love providing care, short walks, and lots and lots of snuggles to their canine friends. Saturday does best with small and medium dogs. They only take large dogs if they don't need walks. When they are not entirely absorbed by pet-cuddles, Saturday can be found reading, writing, or attempting not to kill their garden. As a full-time pet sitter, your fur babies are the focus of my day. I'm available for drop-in visits either morning (6am-noon), afternoon (noon-5pm), or evening (5pm-10pm). If I'm house sitting for your pets, we'll come up with an agreed upon schedule for when they need me home. I appreciate being able to care for pets in their own environments where they feel safe. I will respect your home just as if it were my own. At our meet and greet will discuss any house care (ie: mail or plant watering) as well as any house rules (ie: Miffie isn't allowed in the office). We will also discuss sleeping arrangements, if that applies.

About: I have been working with dogs for nearly a year and a half. The dogs I have worked with have had low energy and others have had lots of energy. The French bulldog I worked with was a pup and I was constantly monitoring and training the dog to stop eating branches and food on the walk. I have trained other dogs to stop yanking or to not chase after squirrels. I have worked with French bulldogs, Pomeranian, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, English Setter, Border Collie, Pit bulls, Yorkshire Terrier, Australian Kelpie, Siberian Husky, West Highland White Terrier, and Labrador Retrievers. Generally I work with referrals only. If you need references, I am happy to provide them. I work full time during the day with a flexible job which can be scaled down to meet pets needs. I am available for morning walks or meds, can coordinate a lunch/potty break, and will of course meet any needs in the evening that are necessary. Unfortunately, I do not have space for pets to stay at my home. I am protective of other people's living space as if it's my own. I will tidy up all messed and pet care needs if they arise. And I will make sure they get all the love and exercise they need.
About: I have over 5 years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and birds. I grew up in a home full of animals, including our family dogs, cats, and a sweet cockatiel, so I’m very comfortable with different personalities and needs. I’m patient, gentle, and always make sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playing, or just keeping them company, I truly enjoy taking care of animals like they’re part of the family. I have open availability and can easily work around your schedule, whether it’s weekdays, weekends, or holidays. I’m flexible, dependable, and happy to accommodate last minute needs whenever possible. I care for pets like they’re my own following their routine, giving them love, play, and comfort. I keep things clean, calm, and cozy so they feel safe and happy.
“I have been very happy with Isabel since day 1. She was willing to have a meet and greet, and my skittish new rescue took to her right away. She’s been kind and patient with him, I so appreciate her carrying him out of the building as the lobby and traffic scare him. I can tell he feels comfortable around her and I know she is observant of his comfort level out on their walks. Isabel communicates well and is very professional. I’m glad we found her!”
About: I adopted my Shiba Inu, Freddy, when he was almost 2 years old, and he turned 7 in July this year! Some people say Shibas are difficult to take care, but Freddy is absolutely amazing and well-behaved. My wife and I treat him like our son, and we walk him at least twice a day since Day 1. His meals consist of boiled chicken breast/thighs/legs, cabbages, broccoli, carrots, and dog food, etc. Spending time with dogs is one of my greatest joys because they truly are the most loyal friends humans could ever have. Having Freddy in my life has been one of my greatest blessings. From Monday to Friday, I start my workday early in the morning and finish around 2pm. Since my office is only about 10 minutes from home, I have plenty of flexibility and am free from around 3pm until midnight every day. We have a backyard where Freddy can enjoy the fresh air and sunlight, and we even built a small door so he can go in and out freely whenever he wants. Since day one, he’s been covered by pet insurance, and we make sure to bring him in for annual check-ups, including heartworm tests and comprehensive health screenings, to keep him in the best shape possible.

Rachel was great with my high energy dog on our meet and greet and even took her for a quick practice walk. The day of the walk was very hot and she took care to keep her in the shade but still get her outside and engage with her. She’s also very communicative and responsive.

Wenran was amazing with my dog! She was super patient and attentive, and I could tell she really enjoyed spending time with him. I especially loved that she actually interacted with him and communicated with him throughout the stay, rather than just taking care of the basics. She was very caring and thoughtful, and I felt totally comfortable leaving my dog with her. Would definitely book with Wenran again!

Nicole was great! She was responsive, easy to communicate with, and took great care of my dog. She was flexible when an issue came up and made sure everything was handled. I really appreciated the updates and attention she gave him. Would definitely book with her again.

Austin was great with my dog Kreed. He kept me updated, sent photos from the walks, and made sure Kreed got some water after. He was easy to communicate with and clearly cared about making sure my dog was comfortable, especially with how hot it’s been lately. Kreed seemed to really like him, and everything went smoothly. I’d definitely book with Austin again. Thanks!!!

Son was a great walker for my parents dog while she (the dog) was staying with me for a few weeks! He made sure to follow her pace and provided fantastic reports for each of her walks. He was kind to her and understanding of her needs, and provided photos and info about each walk. Definitely would have him walk for us again in the future!

Elizabeth was absolutely lovely! We had a wonderful meet and greet, Carly took to her immediately and she doesn't do that with everyone. Elizabeth checked in and sent photos. When I got home it was clear that she had taken wonderful care of my pup. I will absolutely have her again.

Katie helped me out last minute when I was in a pinch. I have never hired a dog walker through Rover and have only previously used dog sitting services. However, Katie made the process super easy. She spent extra time with my girl and made sure she had the walk she deserved that day.
