About: I’ve taken care of family dogs all my life, one of them while she was pregnant. I love dogs and cats! My current apartment doesn’t allow dogs so I am just looking for dog walking services bc I miss being around dogs! About: I’ve taken care of my dogs (passed away and a new pup), chickens, a bearded dragon, Tiger and Coyote (my cats before they became more outdoorsy), other cats, and fish. I’m good with staying the night at the clients house. I have references of those who I’ve stayed at and are numerously asked to pet sit. If I have work/school, I’ll feed them and put them where needed (crate, outside, whatever you need) and comeback later and spend the night. About: Right across the street from an active dog park and have senior care experience. Additionally, if you're okay with it, we're an active couple that can take your dog SUP, to Santa Cruz for the day, on a hike, the dog park across the street, or just chill in the home for a reading weekend. Our home and vibe is very flexible and relaxed. On the weekends I take them out every 2-4 hours depending on their activity level, run/hike, or go paddleboarding. I only take them where the owner gives me permission to. Same for treats. We don't give food scraps (unless it's carrots) to pets. They get dog treats or the occasional doggy ice cream. We strive to be as attentive as possible, because we treat your dog like they're our child. Only the best for them! Your pet is like mine. I give them the same attention and care. I've used Yumi as a house sitter when she was working through a different platform, and now I'm happy to see she's available here for more dog walks and home stays. On the administrative side, Yumi is very communicative and organized: I appreciate that she sets up a call or visit in advance to go over all the pet and home details, and she send regular photos and updates during her stay. On the "pet care" side, Yumi is great! She clearly loves animals and works hard to keep them happy and healthy during her stays. My dog tends to have a lot of anxiety and goes on hunger strikes when we travel, but with Yumi she ate happily and enjoyed plenty of couch snuggles. I'll definitely book her services again for both walks and for longer in-home stays.
