“Jason was great! He came over a few days before walking birdie to meet her and get aquatinted, which I appreciated. Birdie loved him and was very happy and tired when they got back from their walk!”

“Cassidy is great! I always get thorough updates and she has been flexible with our last minute requests. She is very capable and experienced and I know my (sometimes anxious) pup is in good hands!”

“Sarah is awesome! Our little senior pup, “Tokki,” can get nervous with new people and Sarah was so professional and so kind with her—taking the time to bond and make Tokki feel comfortable before starting the walk. And Sarah kept us updated with photos and was very responsive every step of the way; would highly recommend!”

“Zola is awesome! Super communicative and the dogs seem to love her. She was super flexible in adding an extra day for walks at the last minute. So glad that she’ll be walking my dogs regularly.”

“Camille took great care of our sweet hippo while we were out of town for a few days. We really appreciated how accommodating she was when it came to arranging a meet-and-greet prior to our scheduled care. We will definitely be booking her for the future :-)”

“Soyoung has been amazing at walking my dog, feed her a special homemade diet, and taking her out again. She’s been very thorough, follows my directions, and even offered to measure Rosie’s food portions to be accurate. I feel rest-assured with her knowing she’s in great hands! She also was patient when the leasing office was closed, and waited almost half an hour to retrieve keys to get into my apartment.”

About: Throughout my childhood I’ve been surrounded by animals of all kinds - dogs in particular. My family has always had at least one dog in our household and I’ve spent a combined three years volunteering, shadowing, and working at animal hospitals / clinics - learning how to meet the needs of every dog or cat I encounter. The passion I had as a child led me to pursue zoology. I recently graduated from Cal Poly Humboldt and while there I worked at the Humboldt Wildlife Care Center. It was here that I learned to confidently and humanely rehabilitate numerous critters. I’ve worked with everything from raccoons to seabirds! The experience I’ve collected throughout my life has left me confident in my ability to provide structured and comforting care to any cat, dog, or other critters you may have. Please feel free to reach out with more questions or inquiries! :) Taking care of pets is my passion and priority. I'm available any time of the day, on both weekends and weekdays, to give good care to your animals. The most important things I focus on are giving love to all pets and ensuring they feel safe. Additionally, I have or create a schedule for taking care of the pet's needs, from meals to potty breaks to medication.
“Meara was amazing while we were on vacation! She’s extremely knowledgeable and patient with our 2 pugs. Showed up on time and sent photos every day. You should book her! Your furry friends will be in good hands.”

About: I’ve always loved animals and have hands-on experience caring for dogs through my own Golden Retriever, Vesper. I’m comfortable with everything from daily walks and playtime to feeding, keeping pets company, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable in their routine. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, so I’m happy to follow your instructions and keep their normal routine as consistent as possible. I’ll treat your pets with the same patience, attention, and care I’d want someone to give mine. My schedule is currently very flexible, which means I can be pretty accommodating to your pet’s routine and needs. I’m available for walks and drop-in visits, and I’m happy to work around your preferred timing whenever possible. I’m especially happy to spend some extra time with pets who need companionship during the day. I’ll always do my best to keep their normal routine consistent so they feel comfortable while you’re away. 🐾 Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I know it can feel stressful leaving your pets with someone new, especially when that person will be coming into your home, so I take that responsibility seriously. I’m respectful of your home, attentive to your pet’s needs, and will follow your instructions and routines closely. I’ll make sure doors and gates are secure, keep an eye out for anything unusual, and communicate with you if I have any questions or concerns. I’m also happy to send regular photo and text updates so you know how your pets are doing while you’re away.

“A True Dog Professional - Highly Recommended! Whinde is simply amazing as a human, and more importantly, she is an incredibly skilled professional who deeply understands dogs and their specific needs, especially for medium/large sizes. We reached out to her with very short notice, and she was able to accommodate a meet-and-greet on the same day. She knew exactly how to approach our Labrador who is shy with strangers, putting him (and us!) immediately at ease. Her communication, engagement, and timing are excellent—I feel totally confident and know I can trust her with my fur baby. I would highly recommend her to anyone, and I'm already becoming a repeat customer.”

Whether I'm stopping by for a walk, playtime, meals, or simply some company, I'll care for your pet with the same attentiveness and thoughtfulness I'd hope someone would show mine. My schedule lends me some flexibility during the week, so daytime visits are usually easy for me to accommodate. About: I have personal experience helping to train and walking reactive smaller dogs who need a confident and kind leader. I will be attending a PhD program in Clinical Psychology starting this fall and know the importance of catering to each soul individually whether it is a person or pet. I also have experience with older dogs who struggle with neurological issues know how important it is to ensure that the owner as well as the pet have piece of mind in their pet care. I am currently unemployed while I prepare for graduate school, therefore I am available each day of the week and can make any schedule work for me! I am always happy to meet your pet at their crate or at the door, whatever is most comfortable for them! I love to play enrichment games with my pets that engage their mind and body in order to help their cognition. A simple one I play with my sisters miniature schnauzer is putting his food under paper plates on top of a towel and he has to figure out how to access his food and he loves it! I always think a simple game after a walk is such a great way to tire them out on multiple levels!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Burbank
Rachel was fantastic with our enthusiastic hound dog during our last getaway, so we booked her again for dog walks while we were out of town over the long weekend. Unfortunately, our pup developed an unexpected stomach issue the day we left. Rachel was extremely communicative and kindly worked with us as we assessed our dog's health and recovery. She was patient, flexible, and incredibly helpful—we were ultimately able to continue our vacation plans knowing that our dog was in great hands. We look forward to requesting Rachel’s help again during our next trip, and our dog does too!

Wenran was amazing with my dog! She was super patient and attentive, and I could tell she really enjoyed spending time with him. I especially loved that she actually interacted with him and communicated with him throughout the stay, rather than just taking care of the basics. She was very caring and thoughtful, and I felt totally comfortable leaving my dog with her. Would definitely book with Wenran again!
