“Courtney is wonderful to work with and loving with the furry little creatures! My girls are princesses with distinct personalities and Courtney knew how to warm up to each of them and get the pack going. I will definitely work with Courtney again. 😁🐩🐩”

About: I have been working with dogs for about 3 years at a daycare and boarding facility. I absolutely love what I do! With my work experience I have training on understanding a dog's body language, and I am certified in Pet First Aid and CPR. I currently work part time with flexible hours, essentially I make my own schedule. My work allows me to be flexible while providing pet care. Safety is a priority for me. Every dog is different and pet parents know their fur babies the best, so it is important for me to follow the request and instructions provided by the pet parent.
“This is the first time our family used Rover for our pup Gunny. And we would absolutely chose Erik H again. He is a true dog lover and we felt at ease leaving Gunny in his care for daily walks . Erik is prompt, consistent and compassionate. Smith family”
About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over seven years through the Wag! platform in addition to friends and family’s pups, and have experience with a wide variety of breeds and personalities. Over time, I’ve discovered that I truly excel with smaller, calmer, and more mellow dogs—and that’s where my focus is for Rover. I take a gentle, attentive approach to dog care, paying close attention to each dog’s comfort level, routine, and preferences. I’m especially mindful of dogs who thrive in quieter, low-stress environments and do best with patience and consistency. Whether it’s relaxed walks, cozy companionship, or simply maintaining their normal routine, my goal is always to create a safe, low-stress experience where dogs feel secure, respected, and genuinely cared for. Pet care is my top priority. My schedule is flexible so I may step away for some dog walks, but I am mindful of my schedule and adjust taking additional walks accordingly.
About: Hi! I'm new to Rover, however, I've loved animals all my life. And I understand how important it is to ensure your fur baby is cared for ❤️ I have my own pup, Cloud (my goober bear) and fish at home. My family also has cats, so I’m very familiar with all kinds of personalities. I’ve also volunteered at a horse ranch and helped care for chickens, and one day I’d love to have my own little farm + animal sanctuary 🐾 My biggest priority is making sure your pet feels safe, loved, and as close to their normal routine as possible like you never left. I really take the time to understand what matters most to you and your pet, so I can mirror that same love, energy, and care while you’re away. I’m very active, mindful, and intuitive (I’m also a yoga teacher), which helps me tune into animals and their nonverbal cues. Whether your pet wants playtime and adventures, or calm energy and space, I’m happy to meet them exactly where they are. I’ll treat your pet like my own with so much love, presence, and care 🐾❤️ With a flexible, part-time schedule as a yoga instructor, I’m able to offer consistent, attentive care and be fully present with your pet. I prioritize quality time, routine, and making sure they feel safe and at ease while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and attentive environment, follow routines closely, and ensure fresh food, water, and care at all times. I’m mindful, reliable, and treat your pet (and home) like my own
“Our little Maggie loves walks with Brielle! For those looking for a loving dog walker who really loves dogs, take a chance & you won't be disappointed! Brie is very communicative, punctual & will make every attempt to work with times that work for both parties. I have even been "that person" that needs a dog walker last minute & brie has always been there with a smile to walk Maggie! Thank you so much Brie for always willing to help us out with walks, we really appreciate you!”

About: Hi! My name is Tim, and I’ve always had a strong love for dogs and the outdoors. I currently own and care for Kali, my energetic Belgian Malinois/Rottweiler mix. Raising and training a large, high-energy breed has given me hands-on experience with daily exercise, leash handling, basic obedience, socialization, and providing consistent structure and care. Because of Kali’s energy level, I’m comfortable walking active dogs that need both physical exercise and attention. I understand the importance of patience, safety, and reading a dog’s body language to help ensure a positive experience on every walk. I’m reliable, active, and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs of all sizes. Whether your dog prefers a long adventure, a neighborhood stroll, or extra attention and playtime, I’ll treat them with the same care and respect I give my own dog. My goal is to make sure your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away! If dogs could text, mine would probably spend all day asking, “Walk now?” If your pup feels the same way, I’d be happy to help! I’m primarily available on weekdays and love making sure dogs get plenty of exercise, attention, and tail-wagging fun while their owners are away. Weekend availability is sometimes possible too—just ask! 🐾 I treat every dog as if they were my own. Safety and trust come first, and I take pride in creating a positive environment where dogs feel comfortable, secure, and cared for. As an active dog owner with experience handling energetic large breeds, I understand how important exercise, attention, and consistency are. You can count on me to provide safe walks, reliable care, and plenty of love while keeping your dog’s well-being my top priority.
About: I provide reliable walks and drop-in visits with a calm, safety-first approach. I’m comfortable training puppies and reinforcing basics like loose-leash walking, “sit,” and “wait.” I can also handle reactive dogs and jumpy dogs by staying consistent, avoiding triggers when needed, and rewarding calm behavior with positive reinforcement. You’ll always get photo updates and a quick visit recap so you feel at ease. Pet care is part of my regular routine, so I’m able to be consistent and reliable. I’m available for morning, midday, and evening walks/drop-ins on most days, and I can also help on weekends. I plan my day around appointments to make sure each visit is on time, unrushed, and tailored to your pet’s needs. I primarily care for pets in my client’s home through walks and drop-in visits. I follow your routine closely and always prioritize safety and comfort. For drop-ins, I’ll make sure your pet has fresh water and food (as instructed), potty breaks/litter box care, playtime or enrichment, and a calm check-in based on their personality (more active for energetic pets, slower and gentle for shy ones). For walks, I use a safety-first approach: secure leash/harness check, controlled pacing, avoiding triggers when needed, and positive reinforcement for good manners. After each visit, I’ll send photo updates and a quick recap (potty breaks, mood/energy, and anything I notice) so you feel completely at ease.

You can trust that your pet will be safe, happy, and treated like family. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to easily accommodate drop-in visits, walks, and house sitting in your home while continuing my workday. When pets stay in my home, they receive attentive, round-the-clock care with frequent opportunities to go outside. The yard is double-gated, providing a secure and safe environment for your pups to enjoy. When caring for pets in your home, I’m always respectful, attentive, and conscientious about following pet parents’ instructions and safety preferences to ensure their pets feel comfortable and well cared for.
About: I grew up with dogs since the wee age of four. From Rottweilers to Poodle mixes and adorable, rescue chihuahua-somethings, I have always been lucky to have a dog or two (or three) by my side. I look forward to learning the specials things you love about your pet. I start the day taking the dogs out for a walk by the Anacostia River. In the mornings I work and take my toddler to an activity before naptime at noon. The dogs go out again after work and before dinner. There is a dog park attached to our building and an even bigger one nearby. Then finish the night with a treat and a final walk outside before snuggling into snoozeville. I have crates available for smaller dogs that prefer them and many isolated spots dogs can relax solo. I also have a pen/stroller to store my toddler if I notice a dog is feeling nervous.
“She gives a great service and my dog was happy to go out. I recommend her for walking your dog. She pays attention of your dog's behavior and makes sure it has a nice walk.”

“Maria has been our dogwalker for a few weeks now. She has been super great and attentive to our dogs needs and follows our instructions well. She has also been super flexible and understanding of our scheduling changes.”
“Abby is a great dog walker! We were lucky to find her for a last minute request. She responded promptly and was very easy to work with. Our pups liked her as soon as they met her. We would love to work with her again!”

About: I grew up with dogs since I was in grade school. While my work and kids keep me busy these days, I always make plenty of space to spend time with my puppets and yours. Dogs are a massive part of my daily life! Between my own sweet Miniature Poodle, Kilo, and my experience as a long-term foster volunteer for a local rescue, my day naturally revolves around four-legged friends. My household runs on a steady, predictable routine, which is perfect for dogs. Because my schedule is highly organized, I have plenty of dedicated time for regular walks, timely meals, potty breaks, and lots of attention. Safety is my top priority. Having fostered quite a few rescue dogs, I'm really good at reading dog body language and knowing how to make a pup feel safe and comfortable in a new space. At My Home: I keep things secure and structured. When introducing a new pup, I take things slow and supervised so everyone—including my dog, Kilo—feels relaxed. Peace of Mind: I’m all about clear communication. I'll send you regular updates and cute photos so you can relax knowing your pup is in great hands. Respecting Boundaries: Whether your dog is a social butterfly or a bit shy, I tailor the environment to what makes them feel most at ease.
About: Hello All, I have grown up with pets since when I can remember .At my home town we have around 15 cats and 2 dogs.. All were stray who are adopted, neutered and vaccinated. I have rescued numerous animals from road accidents, abuse which includes cats, dogs, birds, squirrels, cows and once cured helped them get adopted to forever homes. I even travelled abroad with animals of different owners to help them get adopted. Additionally, I have worked with multiple animal shelters back in my country and stood up for animal rights and animal cruelty. When I moved to Canada and the US, I took my pets along with me. I am able to administer inhaler to cats as my cat Leo has asthma for over 2 years now and I give it daily. I work from home & therefore available to support you and your fur babies anytime of the day, seven days a week! I am a new driver therefore currently only taking requests within 5 miles and avoiding highways. I have 2 pet cats at my home. I can accommodate additional pets (cats and small dogs) but would prefer to accommodate only 1 pet at a time. Both my cats are neutured/spayed, all vaccinations are updated. One of my cat is very shy and mostly lives in our bedroom. The other one is very social and would love to play with a new member. One of my pet has asthma and needs inhaler twice a day. My cats are always roaming free at home but I like to keep them inside so I ensure my house is always locked.

I reached out to Michael at the very last minute, and he responded right away. He was incredibly kind, reliable, and made the whole experience stress free. During the walk, he sent me photos of my Maxie and kept me updated on how he was doing, which I really appreciated. Maxie looked so comfortable and relaxed with Michael, and that gave me so much peace of mind. Michael genuinely cares about the dogs he works with. I’ll definitely be reaching out to him again soon. Highly recommend!

This is my first time ever hiring dog walkers, and while I was always open to the idea, I was a little hesitant at first. Willow and Tingting have completely exceeded my expectations. They have been amazing with my little girl, Pepper, and always provide thoughtful updates after every walk. Their communication is so detailed that I almost feel like I'm right there with them. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing that Pepper is happy, well cared for, and in such loving hands. I couldn't recommend them more!
My dog and I are so glad we met Judi! She treats Finny as if he were her own and he absolutely loves her! Judi is meticulous about any instructions you have for your pup and your home and, because she has so much experience with dogs, she will let you know if she notices any changes or issues with your fur baby. As a new and somewhat anxious dog mom, I can relax and focus at work knowing Judi is coming over and Finny is safe and having a great time with her on their walks.

My dog, Ivy, and I did a meet and Greet with Sean and his dog. The dogs were happy to meet each other and walked well together. Sean and I had a nice chat; he really enjoys dogs and is capable of handling Ivy who is a large dog and pulls while on leash. I agreed to have Sean come the next day and take Ivy with his dog on a walk without me. Ivy was excited to see her new friends again and eagerly went with them. It was evening time and Ivy came home happy and tired and went to bed early. We look forward to having Sean walk Ivy again and perhaps have a doggy play date with his dog.

Weichan was a fantastic dog walker. She arrived 5min early and was well-prepared for the walk. I have a French bulldog, so lots of personality and plenty of stubbornness, and she handled him with patience and confidence. She followed instructions carefully, paid attention to his individual needs, and clearly understands dog behavior. My dog warmed up to her immediately, which says a lot. I felt completely at ease knowing he was in good hands, and I would absolutely book her again and recommend her to other dog owners.

Cindy is fantastic! She met with me and my dog Ivy today and did an incredible job. Ivy is an 80lb puller, but Cindy handled her beautifully. She’s professional, kind, and seems to be great with large breeds. We only need occasional help and I’ll definitely be using her services again in the future! Since I was on the walk with them, she didn't send any photos but we did communicate about how the walk and interaction went overall.
