“Minna was fantastic! Great communication and arrived on time. We currently cannot leave our dog, Fred, home alone and Minna was able to help dogsit for a few hours while we attended a holiday party. Fred was a happy camper when we got home and she seemed to love Minna. Would definitely book again!”

“Jaynee took wonderful care of our dog, Powder, over the holidays. From the moment we left, we felt completely at ease thanks to her constant communication and regular photo updates. It allowed us to truly enjoy our trip, knowing that both our dog and our home were in excellent hands. We returned to a happy pup and a well-cared-for home. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jaynee to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive pet sitter.”

“Estela was very professional and friendly towards our dog. Somehow our dog instantly bonded with her and even though he has separation anxiety, with Estela he was quite comfortable and calm. I would like to request her service again.”

“We had a great experience with Vivien, who stayed in our home for nine days to care for our pets. Her communication was excellent—she kept us updated regularly with messages and photos, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. She was also able to confidently administer insulin to our diabetic cat, which was a huge relief. Vivien was responsible, respectful of our space, and gave all of our pets plenty of attention and care. We came home to a clean house and happy animals. We’d gladly have her back and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and attentive pet sitter.”

“Michelle was fabulous. She both took great care of our pets and our house. Communication was excellent. We're super excited to have her sit for our pets again in the future!”

About: I have been working with pets for about 5 years. Started in high school and now in my adult life. I also haves worked at a pet hotel for about 3 years where I was trained to handle all breeds and types of dogs and cats. Very flexible! I am a college student so any time I am not working on school I am free and available to look after your fur baby! I first and foremost respect all rules and boundaries of your home. Safety is the #1 priority when I’m handling any pet. I want pet parents to feel as comfortable as possible, I handle any fur baby how I would take care of my own.
About: My family and I have had 2 dogs and found it a joy to raise them, so I understand the love & dedication that goes into caring for your pets. I've also had the privilege to cat-sit my former roommate's cat during my 4 years of living with them! I look forward to meet both you and your furry friends and hope to take part in caring for them as well. I have been part of Wag! and Rover since 2017. Thank you for your trust! I've been recently laid off so I look forward to making pet care my priority with this new time! Your business will be greatly appreciated. I'm a student at SJSU during the weekdays. I will be UNavailable during these times starting January 22: Mondays & Wednesdays 2pm-6:30pm Tuesdays & Thursdays 11am-5pm I can provide care before or after these times. (-: Meet and greets are a great way to show me the ropes when it comes to your specific companion(s) as well as having them become familiar with me before taking care of them by myself. I like to make notes on each pet regarding their food portions, personality, behaviors and special needs if necessary.
“Cittlali was great with my dog. Betta is very shy and reserved but she opened up to her. They went out together and I am impressed that they became friends in just two days. She kept me updated with pictures and messages and it gave me peace of mind. Thank you!”
“Elizabeth stayed with my Pomeranians for most of November due to work travel and then a personal trip over Thanksgiving. I always hate being away from my pups, but after the first two short stays for my business trips, I felt really good about being far away for 10 days over Thanksgiving, knowing they were in good hands. As always, Elizabeth was communicative, responsive and I could really tell she was getting to know their personalities and quirks. She also sent really fun updates, with a bit of humor and witty writing, but even better, the stories she texted me about were spot on with how they behave as a little pack. In addition, after her stay, I was putting harnesses on them to go on a walk, I noticed that my 9 month old pup Evie, who always ran around crazy when it was walk time and wouldn’t let me put her harness on, was coming up to me to get her harness put on. So, not only did she take good care of them, she somehow got Evie to understand how to put her harness on, and that chase was not part of that process. I’ll be forever grateful for whatever magic she did to get Evie to want to put on her harness! I will absolutely use Elizabeth again and highly recommend her to stay with your pets while on vacation or business travel.”

About: I have hands-on experience with pets of all ages. I care for a 15-year-old senior dog and a 5-year-old dog, so I’m comfortable with both gentle senior care and active teething dinosaurs. I also administer daily medication to my senior dog, giving me experience with routine pet meds. In addition I regularly care for cats aswell! I currently feed my friend’s cat every time they’re on a business trip and also help manage the neighborhood cat colony. I’m patient, reliable, and treat every fur baby like my own. I work from home with a low-stress, flexible job, which means pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m home most of the day, so I can give pets plenty of attention, timely meals, walks, medication, and companionship. My schedule allows me to be dependable, consistent, and fully present with the pets I care for. I follow each pet’s normal routine, making sure they’re fed, exercised, given fresh water, and plenty of attention. I’m attentive to each individual needs and keeping their space clean. I make sure they feel safe and comfortable.

“Perfect house sitter/cat sitter. Elvira is a wonderful find. She Is communicative, understood and followed a five step feeding routine, and our kitty Loves her. She went above and beyond and we couldn’t be happier with her. Highly recommend!”

About: I've always had a passion for animals of all kinds since I could learn to walk, and that passion is what drove me to surround myself with animals as much as possible. I have experience taking care of a wide variety of animals, from fish to small animals to dogs, and I make sure to fully do my research in order to cater to each animal's personality and comfort. I have previous experience volunteering at a wildlife center, fostering a feral cat and helping her adjust to human presence, and currently have a dog of my own who has been by my side for the past 13 years. These experiences helped me get familiar with the variety of anxieties an animal might have and how to decrease the level of stress they might receive from a stranger's presence. The comfort and happiness of your pet, or any animal in general, is my top priority. If the opportunity is provided, I'll make sure your pet is well taken care of! I'm currently in between jobs, and otherwise do freelance remotely, so I will have plenty of time to spend with your pet! You just let me know how much time you want me to spend with your pet and I'll be there! Drop-ins: Food/water refills, clean bathroom as needed, hang out/walk with them as allowed/needed House sitting: Make sure that their needs are taken care of (including food/water, clean bathrooms, and playtimes/exercises) will most likely work on outside work during downtime. Walks: Will cater to how the owner usually enjoys walking their dogs (interaction limitation with other people/dogs, whether they can or cannot go into certain areas of the neighborhood, etc).
About: With over 10 years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and other animals, I’ve grown up surrounded by furry (and sometimes feathered) friends. I know how to provide loving, dependable care tailored to each pet’s unique needs. Your fur baby will be treated like family! As a student I have plenty of flexibility to dedicate quality time to caring for your pet. Whether it’s daily visits, extended stays, or just some extra playtime, I’m here to provide attentive and loving care whenever you need! When caring for pets in your home, I prioritize keeping them comfortable and maintaining their routines. I ensure they’re fed on schedule, have plenty of playtime, and receive lots of attention and affection. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding, litter box cleaning, or simply keeping them company, I treat your home and your pet with respect and care as if they were my own.
About: My only experience that I have is my own cats that I’ve been taking care of for the past 4 years. Sometimes I would take care of a friends cat whenever she was out of town & she was a very cute kitten. I would say I do a great job seeing how much my own two cats genuinely love me but only because I give them that love these little guys deserve. My days off are usually only Monday & Tuesday. Im pretty open on making time for your pets of course I just have to be informed is all only because I care for being punctual and honest. So first thing I would need is a list of “Do’s and Don’ts”. So I know how you want me to take care of your animal in a respectful & trusting way. I don’t mind specifics, I don’t mind any rules, If anything I prefer it because I want to do the best that I possibly can for you & your pet. Please don’t be shy to tell me things I should know for the better care of YOUR PET. I would also do the same thing if I had a stranger take care of my pet if im being honest. Tell me what I need to know to take care of your pet in the best possible way that I can please & thank you.

I always reach out to Yumi first to see if she is available to care for Kento. She has looked after him multiple times and consistently gives me complete peace of mind. Yumi is prompt in her communication, punctual, clean, caring, and always transparent. She often goes the extra mile in ways I don’t even think to ask, which speaks to her conscientiousness and attention to detail. I trust her so fully that I sometimes realize I haven’t checked in as much as I normally would—because I know Kento is in excellent hands. The videos and photos she sends reassure me that Kento is not only being cared for, but truly understood. She pays close attention to his spirit and mood and communicates with him in a way that is both thoughtful and intuitive. Without hesitation, Yumi is my go-to sitter whenever she is available, and I highly recommend her to any family seeking someone reliable, caring, and genuinely invested in animals well-being.

Kait was fantastic and she came last minute to take care of Zeus after the sitter I booked was a no show. She took good care of Zeus while we are away and gave me updates about him daily. Since ha had a leg injury she was very vigilant about his leg condition and updated me on a daily basis about his improvement. The most important thing was when our flight back got canceled. She immediately came back and stayed the night and took care of him even after she left. She was a life saver because we had one less thing to worry about amidst all the chaos. Will surely book her again.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Eleni! She took care of my cat, Mira, during Thanksgiving week and went absolutely above and beyond in every way. She came by for a few hours each day and spent real, quality time with Mira—playing with her, feeding her dinner, and genuinely keeping her company instead of just doing quick check-ins. Eleni’s communication was exceptional. She sent a text every time she arrived and left, along with thorough updates and the sweetest photos that completely reassured me while I was away. Her responses were always quick, thoughtful, and detailed, which made such a difference. I felt incredibly comfortable having her in my home and fully trusted her from day one. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing Mira was not only being cared for, but truly loved while I was away. Eleni is kind, reliable, communicative, and clearly has a natural gift with animals. I came home to a happy, relaxed cat, which says everything. If you’re considering booking with her—do it. I would 100% trust her with Mira again and recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for an exceptional pet sitter. Thank you, Eleni, for taking such amazing care of my girl!

Another great stay with Ariela! She kept everything clean and tidy, sent daily photo updates, and made sure our pup received her medication each day. We were away for two weeks and felt completely at ease. We would absolutely book again and highly recommend!

Peter is such an amazing, attentive and patient person. He is very detail oriented and adheres to all of your pets schedules. Our two dogs are high energy and take medications which is why we were hesitant at first because of the high level of attention our dogs required. Peter was very attentive to them and would relay any information to us that he saw necessary. We received pictures daily which we absolutely enjoyed receiving. He was also very tidy and went above and beyond all my expectations. He has set the bar very high for all future Rovers. If I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would. I can't say enough positive things about Peter needless to say we will be using Peter for all future needs.

We were so lucky to find Sara for our two-week trip. As first-time Rover users, we were a little nervous, but Sara completely put our minds at ease from the very beginning. They were professional, warm, and clearly wonderful with our two dogs. The best part was their communication—we looked forward to their daily photos and updates! It was so reassuring to see our boys happy and well-cared-for. We came home to a tidy house and two very happy dogs. We fully trusted Sara in our home and with our pets, and we will absolutely be booking them for all our future trips. Highly recommend
