About: I had a dog for 10 years and trained him as a puppy. I miss spending time with dogs and I’m great at helping them get energy out! I’m currently between jobs so I am pretty flexible for walks or overnight stays as needed! Reach out if you have questions! I’m trying to grow on the Rover app so take advantage of the low rates! I’ll be sure to pay special attention to make sure your pup is safe at all times and engage with them to make sure they have some connection while you’re away
“Took great care of my pets-took them on lots of walks and cuddles! Gave me updates about them several times daily. Felt like my dogs had so much fun while I was gone. Came home to cute little photos on the counter of all of them as an extra surprise! Dog person through and through-would recommend and use again!”

“Courtney took such great care of our quirky and needy furbaby, Sookie! From the start she was communicative, professional, and very kind. She sent plenty of photos and updates so we always knew Sookie was happy and well cared for. She followed Sookie’s routine exactly as we asked and was very attentive to her personality and needs. It gave us a lot of peace of mind knowing Sookie was in such good hands. Courtney was also extremely respectful of our home and even left the apartment cleaner than when we left. You can tell she genuinely loves animals and takes her responsibility seriously. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and thoughtful sitter. Thank you again, Courtney!”

“Michelle has been an absolutely WONDERFUL in home sitter for us. She was attentive and detail oriented during the meet and greet and clearly has a good sense of how to handle various temperaments in animals. She sent us updates twice daily and included several pictures making us feel like our guy was getting very well taken care of. I would absolutely recommend Michelle to anyone!”

“My sister set her out-of-state wedding date eight weeks out, and we needed an overnight house/dog sitter for that weekend. Family wasn’t an option so we turned to Rover having had a previous good experience a few years ago with a boarding sitter. As soon as we met Courtney, we were put at ease. She listened to our questions and asked many of her own to make the time away seem less for our pups. She seemed comfortable and confident, and that’s the reassurance we needed to move forward with the booking. The photo updates were appreciated. She gave our chihuahua space to warm up as he can be more scared with strangers and by the second set of pictures she sent us, he was happily going for a walk with her. Both of our dogs were well taken care of, content when we got home, indoor and outdoor plants still thriving, and the house left clean. We look forward to booking Courtney again!!”

“Thank you Diana for taking care of Roxy. I don’t think Roxy had separation anxieties, but we did. Your pictures and notes helped us relax and enjoy our vacation. We appreciated that you walked Roxy a lot. We will definitely ask you to dog and house sit again if we go on any more trips. It was really nice to come into a clean and neat house and yard. Again, thank you for everything.”

“Malia was wonderful with my pets! I was so happy to come home to happy, relaxed animals. It’s clear that Malia has a genuine love for pets. My two chihuahuas and cat seemed to really warm up to her. She's clearly responsible and caring, and I felt completely at ease leaving my little critters in her hands.”

About: Hi, I’m Whinde, and I specialize in calm, structured care for dogs who don’t thrive in busy daycare environments. “Joy was absolutely wonderful with our dog! This was our first time having a dog sitter come to our home, and Joy made the experience so comfortable and stress-free. I could tell right away that Skye was treated with so much care and love. Joy kept us updated, took great care of her during walks, and was very attentive and thoughtful. We felt completely at ease knowing Skye was in such good hands. We will definitely be rebooking her in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter! 🥰🐾”

About: I’ve basically grown up caring for animals — I started bottle‑feeding foster puppies and kittens when I was about six, so I have roughly 15 years of hands‑on experience. I currently have five pets of my own and have been pet- and house‑sitting for neighbors and family friends for 5+ years. I’m comfortable with very young animals (bottle feeding, socialization, scheduled feedings), puppies, and senior pets. I’m reliable, attentive to each pet’s routine, and treat every animal as if they were my own — whether that means long energetic walks, supervised play, or quiet care for a recovering or older pet. I am currently a college student with a very flexible schedule. I am available for check ins, walks and over nights/ house sitting as needed! I adapt to each pet’s routine and home rules so they stay comfortable and stress‑free. In the pet’s home: - Follow the owner’s schedule for feeding, walks, play, and rest exactly. - Use provided leashes, harnesses, crates, and medications; administer meds and record times. - Keep pets on lead when going outside, pick up waste, and clean food/water bowls after meals. - Provide enrichment: play, short training/reinforcement sessions, and supervised free time. - Maintain safety: secure doors/gates, remove hazards, and monitor interactions with people/other animals. - Send regular photo/text updates and note any changes in appetite, behavior, or health. - Lock up and leave the home as found; water plants/mail as requested.
“Due to a sudden change in plans, our previous sitter had to cancel just two weeks prior to our 17-day trip out of the country. We contacted Rover and found Meara. And despite her incredibly busy schedule and personal life, Meara cheerfully agreed to stay in our home with our deaf senior cat. She went above and beyond to make sure our trip was worry free and stayed in contact with us nearly every day. Everything was just perfect upon our return. The house was immaculate and Lily perfectly happy. We couldn't have asked for a better sitter. Thank you, Meara! You rock!”

About: Hi, my name is Lee and I’m a recent architecture college graduate in the midst of transitioning between school and the work world. Growing up, I cared for many species of animals such as cats, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, and butterflies. I currently live with an orange tabby named Rosie who’s 10 and a little spicy. I have cared for and pet sat cats and dogs of friends and family for several years. I helped my sibling foster 4 kittens. I walked dogs ages two to fourteen and from 12lbs to 80lbs. No matter the size, I enjoy carrying for fur babies, while making sure each animal is comfortable, safe, and happy. My schedule is quite flexible - from morning to evenings - only working around personal projects and care. Drop-in visits toward the end of the evening are doable. I am generally available on weekends. I appreciate owners who provide detailed information on routines and care, so I can provide best for their pet as to ensure comfort and consistency. I have cared for cats and dogs from 5lbs to 80lbs and from elderly to energetic. I enjoy taking dogs out for regular walks, whether it’s just to get them out of the house or to tire them out. Usually I walk one pup at a time, but I have walked two medium size dogs (40-50lbs each) from the same household together. Some of the dogs I have cared for have been unfazed by people or other pets, while others have been well trained but anxious or potentially reactive to others dogs, requiring a soft muzzle. On overnights and drop-ins, the dogs I have cared for have had various diets, including raw food, kibble, and fruits/vegetables (as treats). I’ve had pets that required separate meals, unique rituals around meals, or specific supplements/pill medications at meals. Some households have asked I crate their dogs at night, while others have pups that want to be in whichever room I sleep.
“Awesome service we’re very happy with the way everything went. Tiana was very communicative and sent us pictures. She took the dogs out for walks and fed them on time and gave them their medication and of course gave them all the lovin they needed while we were away. We were very happy with her service.”

About: I’ve always had a natural connection with animals, and caring for them is something I take seriously and genuinely enjoy. I’m very attentive to each pet’s behavior and needs, and I make it a priority to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. Every animal is different, so I adapt my care to what they need most, whether that’s extra playtime, calm companionship, structure and training, or simply giving them space to relax. I’m highly observant and will notice if something seems off, and I’m proactive about addressing it, whether that means adjusting their routine or communicating with you right away. You can trust that your pet will be treated with the same level of care, patience, and attention I would give my own. I work from home, which allows me to be present and attentive to your pet throughout the day. I’m able to provide regular check-ins, walks, playtime, and companionship without long gaps in care. On weekends, I tend to stay local and enjoy a more relaxed routine, whether that’s spending time at home or getting outside for walks and hikes. I’m always happy to include your pet in those plans, depending on their energy level and preferences. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’m very mindful about maintaining a secure environment, from ensuring gates are properly closed and fences are intact to locking the home exactly as instructed. I’m also careful to keep anything potentially harmful out of reach, including unsafe foods or items, so your pet can relax in a safe space. I pay close attention to their behavior and adjust my approach to what makes them feel most comfortable, whether that’s lots of affection and cuddles or giving them space and independence. I do my best to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible while you’re away. If they’re used to certain walks, activities, or even trips to the dog park, I’m more than happy to continue those so they feel secure, happy, and at ease.
