About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, and chickens throughout my lifetime, and I’m convinced that animals are true blessings to this world. I love having fun with them, and want to make them feel loved and cared for. I am currently a student, so I am mostly able to work extended hours after 5 pm. I can also work night shifts, and take on other responsibilities that are needed. My approach to taking care of pets, whether in my home or somewhere else, is to keep being responsive to their needs. Each pet is different, so I think it’s important to try to understand what every animal needs individually.

About: Experienced dog handler and bather while in training to become a groomer! I am experienced with dog behavior, medication administration and overnight shifts. I have a calm approach with all dogs! I love the big softies, love their energy. And the little guys never fail to steal my heart. Every dog amazes me with their intelligence! I have also successfully trained a German shepherd with my family and I would be happy to talk about giving your pups a bath while sitting. I currently work 3 jobs as a bather, a handler and a sitter here on rover. I am a single mother and i love getting a chance to housesit and be with animals while they are in their natural habitat. Working in a daycare and grooming salon is amazing and rewarding but there is nothing like getting to spend time with them one on one. I love my work and hope to hear from you where we can discuss all details. I will always come with a doggy first aid kit and knowledge of dog/pack behavior, and I have been trained to break up dog fights in the event of any instances out in public or at home.

About: What sets me aside from other dog sitters is my ability to be aware of a dogs needs! I am also super receptive to their needs and always want to make sure they're safe and taken care of. Especially since I know how scary it can be leaving your family (your fuzzy friend) with a stranger. However, I don't want it to feel like that. Through my husband's family I have had the privilege of really growing with four dogs. Two frenchies, and two chihuahuas who have become such a big part of my world. I love dogs and have even volunteered through CARE. Companion Animal Research Effort. The two Chihuahuas we owned were seniors so I would love to take care of senior pets if needed. I understand they need a lot more compassion as well as structure. I would make sure they're safe, monitored, and getting all the love they deserve to thrive! I'm currently working Full Time at a medical supply company- but I would love to help either Friday Nights after 5 PM, Saturdays if needed overnight into Sundays until 5 PM! I am more of a weekend available pet care professional. I care for pets by providing a safe and loving environment full of compassion. Whether they're a younger pet or senior pet I make sure all their needs are met and they won't be shamed for having any accidents etc. I will always clean up after them and I live by the rule of leaving things better than when I came into the picture. I also have all my focus on them and will make sure that they're in my sight!

About: I've always been an animal enthusiast for the longest time! As long as i remember I've taken care of a plethora of pets from a small goldfish to an energetic Doberman. About: Hi I’m Aaron, I have cared for the pets of my family and friends since I was 16 years old and have volunteered at many rescues and shelters over the years. I currently volunteer at the humane society of silicon valley and a non-profit farm. I have extensive experience working with pets in clients’ homes and I have one year of experience working as in home care giver for individuals with special needs. I am comfortable working with breeds of all sizes and various levels of training and would love to get to know your pet! I hope that this job will provide me with the hands on and memorable experience I need to get into vet school :) I currently work as a special ed teacher working with adults with high needs, so I’ve got lots of energy and patience. I work from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, but I’m used to early mornings. I am can provide direct care for your pets from 5 am - 7:30 am and from 3:30 pm onwards. My apartment does not allow pets so working at your home would be best for me :) I have lots of experience caring for pets in the home. I have house sat for large and small breeds at various levels of training. The first thing I try to establish from the owners is a sense of the pets routine (what a day usually looks like for that pet), then when I meet said pet I try to bond with them through that routine. I also try to communicate with the owner about what sort of energy the pet responds best to. I know that some pets what a more playful and fun affect while others benefit from something more mellow.

About: I have Animal Shelter and Pet Store experience. I have had pets all of my adult life and sincerely believe that they are the best enrichment of human lives. I have medication experience and have been trained to be cautious of medical conditions. I can be trusted to act fast for worst case scenarios (knock on wood). I know how to take the best care of pets with the knowledge I’ve learned from my own experiences over the years. I work full time at a dealership but, with enough notice I can make sure to be available for your pets when needed. I am available every evening after 7pm Tuesday - Saturday and all day Sundays and Mondays I have 2 cats, a free roaming rabbit and geckos at home with my partner. I love taking care of their individual needs and giving them treats and toys to make them happy.
