I have about two years of experience caring for my neighbor’s pets, including both dogs and cats. My responsibilities included daily walks, feeding, playtime, and providing company when their owners were away. I also helped with overnight stays, making sure the pets felt safe, comfortable, and loved in their own home. I’m very attentive to each pet’s routine — from sticking to specific feeding times to giving medication when needed. I understand how important it is to build trust with animals, as well as building a connection with them!

When I’m doing drop-in visits or walks, my main goal is to make your pet feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. During drop-ins, I make sure your pet has fresh water, food and plenty of love and attention. I’ll spend time playing with them, keeping them company, and sticking to their normal routine so they feel secure. For walks, I focus on giving your dog a safe, enjoyable outing — whether a calm neighborhood stroll or a more active walk to burn off energy. I always keep an eye on their comfort, make sure they’re leashed and secure, and clean up after them. I also send updates and photos so you can see how they are doing!

Full transparency, Niko is my son, and I can speak better than anyone to his love and caring for animals. Niko has always had a way with dogs and I’ve often referred to him as the dog whisperer. We had a dog named Tica when Niko was born and they instantly bonded. Tica and Niko were best friends for his first few years of life. When Niko was about nine, we got our second dog, Rose. Niko instantly bonded with Rose just as he had Tica, and they had a special relationship. Although it wasn’t technically his job, he often helped out with the dog chores, and took Rose for many walks. Niko was also happy to watch and walk friends’ and neighbors’ dogs. He seems to have a way with animals and connects with them very naturally. He is patient and gentle with them and they trust and love him.

Schedule
My availability is pretty consistent throughout the week! On Mondays and Wednesdays, I’m available from 9–10 a.m. and again from 2:30–4:30 p.m. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I’m free between 11 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Fridays are completely open, so I can be flexible with walks or pet sitting that day. Saturdays can vary week to week, but I’m happy to check availability as it gets closer. Sundays are usually wide open as well. I try to stay flexible and will always do my best to accommodate your pet’s needs and schedule!
