My schedule is thoughtfully balanced between two of my personal businesses—pet care and swim instruction. I’m a professional swim instructor during parts of the day, which means I may be in the water or teaching lessons for a few hours at a time, depending on the day of the week. Because of this, I build my pet care schedule very intentionally to make sure every animal in my care gets consistent attention, exercise, and quality time. Pet care isn’t just something I “fit in”—it’s a core part of my work and something I genuinely care about. Balancing both businesses allows me to stay active, responsible, and fully present in the care I provide.

My care style really comes down to one thing: keeping pets happy, comfortable, and on their normal routine, just with me stepping in as their temporary human. In a client’s home, I treat your space with the same respect I’d want for my own. I stick closely to feeding schedules, walk times, medications, play routines, and any “house rules” your pet knows (or thinks they can bend). I keep things clean, calm, and secure so your pet feels safe in their familiar environment. If pets are staying in my home, they get a cozy, supervised environment with lots of attention, exercise, and downtime based on their energy level. I make sure introductions, rest spaces, and routines are handled thoughtfully so everyone feels comfortable. I'll most likely end up snuggling your pet too! :)

Before caring for your pet, I like to gather as much information as possible to make sure I’m providing the safest and most comfortable experience. Please let me know about any medical needs, medications, dietary restrictions, anxiety triggers, or behavioral tendencies I should be aware of! I also appreciate knowing your dog’s routine, training level, socialization comfort, and exercise needs. This helps me plan activities, structure our time, and create an environment where your pet feels secure, understood, and well cared for.
A typical day
A typical day with me is centered around keeping dogs physically active and mentally stimulated. We’ll go on structured walks, play enrichment games, and spend time exploring all the new smells in my neighborhood. I also love taking dogs to a large park near my home for safe, supervised exercise and fresh air! It's as much for them as it is for me as I also love to be outside. I tailor each day to your dog’s energy level and personality: whether that means fetch, training reinforcement, puzzle toys, or relaxed strolls with plenty of sniff breaks. There’s always time for rest, water, and cuddles too! :)

I’ve been the go-to pet person in my circle for years! Friends, family, and neighbors call me when they need someone reliable, patient, and genuinely excited to hang out with their pets. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, overnights, or keeping up with detailed routines, I take pride in making pets feel safe, loved, and completely at ease while you’re away. What sets me apart from other sitters is the level of attention and emotional awareness I bring. As an empath, I don’t just “watch” pets, I learn their personalities. Are they high-energy zoomie champions? Velcro dogs? Secret snack negotiators? I adjust my care style to fit *them* so they stay happy and stress-free. I have experience with puppies who need structure, consistency, and patience (potty training, leash manners, crate routines), as well as senior dogs who deserve a slower pace, gentle handling, and medication support. I’m also very comfortable with anxious or shy pets and use calm, positive approaches to build trust at their speed. My goal is simple: happy pets, lots of tail wags, and owners who can relax knowing their furry family member is in caring, capable hands. Plus, you’ll always get photo updates because I know being away is the hardest part :)

Awesome service we’re very happy with the way everything went. Tiana was very communicative and sent us pictures. She took the dogs out for walks and fed them on time and gave them their medication and of course gave them all the lovin they needed while we were away. We were very happy with her service.
I highly recommend Tiana as a dog sitter. I have multiple dogs —two mini dachshunds and a mixed breed — so my house can be a bit of a handful! She has been wonderful with all of them. My dogs genuinely like her, which says a lot, because dachshunds can be pretty particular about people. She’s calm, patient, and clearly comfortable around dogs with different personalities and energy levels. My dogs are always happy to see her, and they play well with her and feel relaxed when she’s around. I feel completely at ease knowing they’re in her care. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and great with dogs, I absolutely recommend her!! I will always welcome Tiana in my home
Tiana was fantastic and took wonderful care of all our pets. One of our cats has asthma and needs an inhaler twice a day, and she handled it perfectly. She made sure both of our cats got plenty of attention, playtime, and even porch time for fresh air. She sent pictures and updates! She also helped feed the stray cats we care for. Our two cats have to be fed separately because one steals the other’s food, and she managed their routine along with multiple food and water stations and daily wet food without any issues. It gave us great peace of mind knowing she was there all week. We loved the regular updates and photos and is my go-to pet sitter!
