About: * Long walks, happy paws, and loving care. * Where every walk feels like an adventure. * Treating your pets like they’re my own. * Making tails wag and pet parents smile. * Trusted pet care with a lifelong love of animals. After recently retiring, I now have the freedom to spend my time caring for pets. Staying active is important to me, and my daily 4-mile walks make me a great companion for dogs who enjoy exercise, adventure, and lots of attention. I specialize in drop-in visits, dog walking, and house sitting at your home so your pets can stay where they feel most at ease.
About: I grew up with a dog for 18 years, watching him go from playful pup to wise old boy. I've experienced every stage of a dog's life firsthand — young, middle-aged, and senior — so I'm comfortable and caring no matter your dog's age I am able to walk dogs and do drop-in visits. I have a flexible schedule at the moment, so I can adjust to you and your pet's needs! I Since I offer dog walking, most of my care happens out in the neighborhood. I always keep dogs secure on leash, stay attentive, and make sure every walk is safe and enjoyable.
“Stacey was a fabulous sitter for our cat River. She was super communicative throughout not at all flustered by our escapologist cat! She paid her tonnes of attention and obvious has a very genuine love for animals. Very very highly recommended!”
About: I grew up with many dogs and various animals. I love dogs! I often care for my friends and families dogs when they are away. You can relax knowing that your dog will get lots of attention, cuddles, and walks when they are in my care. I am a teacher off for the summer so I have lots of free time. I go back to work mid-August. Once the school year starts up I am still available for dog/pet sitting too. I strive to create a routine that is similar to yours. I want your dog to feel safe and calm while in my care. I will follow your feeding schedule as well as and other details necessary.
“Mámoo is great with my husky, and getting her to play and fetch. Mámoo is definitely one of my dog’s favorite rovers. I like that they take feedback and adjusted the session to push my dog a little more to exert more energy. Great rover.”

“Etta was great with my two cats. She had them both eating out of her hand. She was dependable, kept everything tidy and even took my trash cans out and brought them back in. What I appreciated most were the pictures and updates she gave me every day. I will definitely book with her again!”

“Kristin was great as always. I’m so happy I’ve found someone I can trust to watch my 2 cats when I’m out of town. I’m always happy to get the daily report and pictures from her about how everything is going, and I also appreciate how patient she’s been. Even my very shy kitty is slowly warming up.”

About: I’ve been dog sitting, walking, and providing overnight care for several years, working with dogs of all sizes—from Chihuahuas to Great Dane mixes. I’m comfortable with energetic, playful dogs as well as shy or fearful pups who need patience and reassurance. For the past several months, I’ve taken shelter dogs on field trips through County of Santa Clara Animal Services, where I’ve gained experience handling dogs in new environments, on hikes, and in stimulating settings. This has strengthened my leash handling, situational awareness, and ability to read canine body language. I also have experience with both senior dogs and puppies. I understand that seniors may need a slower pace and gentle care, while puppies require consistency, structure, and positive reinforcement. My goal is always to make your dog feel safe, exercised, and loved while you’re away :) As a student, I have a structured but flexible schedule which allows me to consistently fit pet care into my daily routine. I’m typically available for morning, midday, and evening drop-in visits, and I plan my class schedule to allow time for reliable pet care commitments. Pet care fits naturally into my week—whether that means morning walks before class, midday drop-ins, or evening visits and overnights. I’m organized and intentional about managing my time, so I only accept bookings I can fully commit to. On weekends, I have even greater flexibility for longer visits, extended stays, or multiple drop-ins per day. I prioritize clear communication and reliability so you can feel confident your pet is in consistent, attentive care! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, walk routes, house rules, and any specific behavioral needs. Safety is always my top priority. I double-check doors, gates, and harnesses, remain attentive on walks, and closely monitor pets during visits. I’m mindful of potential hazards and ensure your home is left exactly as I found it—clean, secure, and respected. I also provide regular updates with photos and messages so you can feel connected and reassured while you’re away. I understand that trusting someone with your pet and home is a big responsibility, and I treat both with the highest level of care and respect.
About: I love all animals and love to interact and care for them. Animals are part of our family and needed to be treated as such. I am currently a stay-at-home homeschooling mom so I could spend almost every minute with your fur baby to make sure they are having a wonderful time. I have a dog as well so your fur baby will have some company. Also my daughter just loves dogs as well and your fur baby will be extra loved.
“This was my first time using services from Rover, and I was in search for the best person to watch over my older diabetic cat during the holidays. Elise exceeded my expectations - from the pre-visit and throughout, she was very responsive, reliable, and trustworthy. My cat walked up to her during the pre-visit (when he normally avoids people he doesn’t know), so it was a good sign from the beginning. I’m glad that I have someone that I can reach out to when I am out of town in the future. Thank you Elise!”

About: Passionate animal lover that is reliable and skilled in providing basic care and keeping pets active and comfortable. Comfortable caring for dogs of various ages, sizes, and temperaments. I am working part-time but as of right now my schedule is flexible. I am usually free most of the day during both the week and weekends. I’m happy to care for pets in their own home where they feel most comfortable. I can follow feeding schedules, take dogs on walks, provide playtime and companionship, administer basic care, and keep owners updated with photos and messages while they’re away.
“Kate was incredible. She was super communicative and did a great job taking care of our fur baby ❤️ it’s great to be able to enjoy leaving town knowing our doggo will be well taken care of!”

About: Hi my name is Danielle, I grew up in Saratoga but now live in Los Gatos. My love and passion for pets will make me a great pet sitter for your furry baby. Not only am I an experienced dog walker, but I have the skills to clean ears, paws, clip nails (cats only) and administrate medicine. I've also have been into TNR (trap neuter and return). My first two cat rescues ended up being my furry babies for life! The other kittens I rescued are with my mom. If you see her with a kitten stroller in Campbell, that is her :). Not only do I love being a cat mom but I'm also a huge dog lover as well. I grew up with several different dogs big and small. All my pets have been rescues so I have a lot of patients and understanding for every pets situation. *Important Info* Dog Walks Include: Walking, feeding and providing water to your pup if needed. About: I have supported my wife in watching animals on Rover but recently took the jump to make my own profile on Rover! I have professionally cared for dogs on Rover since 2017. From pet boarding in our home to house sitting in the homes of others, I have professionally cared for pups of all ages- from puppies to senior dogs. My wife and I have two goldendoodles (8 and 6 years old). Growing up, my family has fostered many dogs and so I have experience with various breeds and pups with special needs. Currently I am taking classes to further my education and work a flexible schedule professionally reffing soccer games which are usually one to two hours in length. I live an active lifestyle but also love to have relaxing days depending on your dog’s needs. I understand how much trust goes into having someone else care for your furbaby let alone opening up your own home. I treat the home I come into with respect and follow any rules and cultural considerations for any homes I enter. I respect rules set by you and my main priority is to keep the dog(s) I am watching on their normal schedule until their humans are back home!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Monte Sereno
Adrienne was absolutely wonderful with our sweet Rocky! He took to her right away, and it was clear from the start that he was comfortable and happy in her care. She was reliable, conscientious, and attentive, giving us complete peace of mind while we were away. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter, and we’ll definitely be booking Adrienne again. Highly recommend!

Jeanne was on time the two mornings to feed our feral cats which are three to four of them, though these cats she will not see since they hide until she leaves our front yard. Yet, we invited her into our front room when she came to our front door and Jeanne has a wonderful spirit who can talk about just about anything plus no shyness is there about her. Jeanne smiles, laughs and keeps eye contact while we all talked also. Lovely personality she has... I'm glad she lives close by us too. Thank you. Sincerely, Mrs. Bonnie Kellerby

Nicole and Ryan were great with my dog Edie! I received updates and pics for every drop in and felt confident knowing my pup was in good hands while I was traveling. They had a conflict during one drop in time and needed to adjust the schedule and offered to come an extra visit later that day to make sure Edie was comfortable. During the meet and greet Nicole asked thoughtful questions about my dog’s preferences, personality, and schedule. I highly recommend and would gladly book with them in the future!

Pam was awesome! She clearly loves dogs and is very knowledgeable about their needs and behaviors. My dog loves people but lacks confidence when it comes to other dogs. She offered some tips and worked with my girl to build her confidence during their walks. Pam took great care of my pup and we’ll definitely be working with her again!

Thank you so much Virginia for taking care of Becky during your Thanksgiving holiday. We really appreciate you giving your time and care so to our dog so we could spend time with our family. Thank you for all the photos and check ins letting us know our Becky was well taken care of.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
