About: I love all animals and love to interact and care for them. Animals are part of our family and needed to be treated as such. I am currently a stay-at-home homeschooling mom so I could spend almost every minute with your fur baby to make sure they are having a wonderful time. Yun-an (Elva) is really the best sitter we know and is our savior! We had originally planned to have her drop by only a few times when we were away but the night before our trip (literally while I was packing), one of our cats had an emergency. The doctor subscribed him medication to be taken twice a day. I was ready to cancel the trip if I couldn’t find someone to take care of him. Luckily, not only did Elva agree last minute to come two times a day, but she really went above and beyond the expectations during her visits. She is extremely detailed oriented and kept me updated about everything. Our cat is really but Elva did a great job of making him feel comfortable and making sure that he ate before giving him the medicine. Her rover cards had dozens of photos and long descriptions of what each of my fur babies did during her visits. She is such a patient and loving care taker, and I can tell both of my cats trust her. Having Elva come by made me feel at ease during my trip, because I know there is someone who would take very good care of my cats. I feel so, so lucky to have found her. Highly highly recommended!

Olivia was wonderful! My cats liked her immediately and she was very sweet with them. I appreciated the photos and videos of playtime while I was gone and the updates that they had taken their medication with no problem. She was very prompt with every time frame she gave me. Jeanne was on time the two mornings to feed our feral cats which are three to four of them, though these cats she will not see since they hide until she leaves our front yard. Yet, we invited her into our front room when she came to our front door and Jeanne has a wonderful spirit who can talk about just about anything plus no shyness is there about her. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
