About: I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, and other animals all my life! I rescue animals when I can, have fostered, bottle fed, treated injuries, given injections and medications to many animals. Animals are my comfort zone- just being around them is my joy! I can do short walks, herding dog games, feed, or provide overnight care. I especially love herding and other working breed dogs, and typically get along with even difficult animals (feral cats for example!) I would love to meet you and your pets! I am a recently retired high school teacher sill working part time at UCSC, so am available most days to care for your pets. I have 2 dogs and 2 kitties at home, bit can easily help out pet parents who need extra walks, play time, or vacation care! My pets are my family (fur babies!) i will care for your pets like my own! I can care for your pets in your home- the least stressful for them! Or take them to a park, hikes, or a leisurely walk. In your home I will make sure to keep everything tidy, and treat your pets as my family- lots of snuggles and playtime!

About: I have lived with animals (mostly dogs and one cat) my entire life. I started off with taking care of my own dogs and then volunteered at shelters throughout high school and undergraduate school. I have house sat and animal sat for friends and family off and on since 2022. I've watched over a range of animal personalities from very excitable and energetic to reactive and anxious. I also find it very important to maintain grooming, hygiene, and activity/mental stimulation for your pets. I do not have experience with dog training, however, I have successfully trained my own dogs with basic commands. I moved out to the Bay Area 2 years ago to be a full-time PhD student at Palo Alto University. While I do have work and school, I am remote most days in the week (Thursday through Monday), so I can dedicate the time and care your pet needs :) I appreciate having an average schedule including times they go outside, walks, feeding, and hygiene so I can help your pet have as smooth of a transition as possible. I tend to follow your pet's cues and slowly build the trust between us. I love giving them affection while maintaining the training and expectations you have. I like to take pictures and/or videos for you so you can get your daily dose of your pet!

About: Loving and responsible mamma dog, I have two rescued myself. They are a pitbull and a sheppard mix so I can definitely take care of big dogs. I understand their needs and take care of them while providing you with regular updates. Mornings and evenings walks during the week as I work during the day and I have full availability during the weekends to take care of them with walks and cuddles. “While I was away for the weekend, my sister-in-law unexpectedly was no longer able to care for my dog. I reached out to Mamu, and thankfully, they were available to drop in on short notice. Later, another emergency came up where we missed our connecting flight and couldn’t make it home for an extra day. I contacted Mamu again, and once more, they came through and were able to stop by and care for my dog with very short notice. About: Ive had every animal under the sun growing up in a home that were animal lovers. There were dogs in my family before I was born and I have never not had two dogs or more in my life. My friends always know if they need a sitter and I’m not traveling they can rely on me. Anyone I ever dated I always stated they Must Love Dogs. Ive been lucky that to find my person who is that as well. Im working from home so can give them constant attention, regular walks in between meetings, playtime with our pups and an endless toy chest full of all kinds of great bark box toys since we have 3 subscriptions I have a large secluded complex with lots of running room and two dogs who are dogs best friend as well as man’s. About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, and having owned two mastiffs, I’m very comfortable caring for and handling large breeds. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve fostered dogs through the Humane Society including several puppies from the same litters, and currently pet sit for one of my former foster dogs after helping them find a forever home. I’ve also worked closely with my neighbor raising service dogs for Canine Companions, assisting with training, socialization and everyday care. These experiences have given me confidence working with dogs of different ages, sizes, and temperaments, and I genuinely enjoy building relationships with both pets and owners. As a college student on summer break, I have a very flexible schedule and am available throughout the week, including weekends, and I can accommodate to last-minute requests. “I wasn't sure how my cats would do with someone they didn't know, but any concerns disappeared when Nicole came by prior to my pet sitting needs in order to meet the cats and get the run down on what the cats would need while I was away on business. Zigs, in particular, is generally weary of new people, but she warmed up to Nicole pretty much straight away, and it wasn't long after that Cheddars was also looking for scritches. To say it was a huge relief to have Nicole look after my fur babies while I was away for nearly a week is an understatement. I have a couple of cat cams so I can look in on them when I'm away, and the history of what was recorded is available for me to check. When I checked in each day, I saw Nicole sitting on the floor playing with and giving scritches to both cats. At one point, Zigs was even following her! When I returned home, both cats were calm and relaxed. They got their nasty canned food every day, fresh water, and all three litter boxes cleaned. They were clearly well cared for while I was away, above and beyond just feeding them and cleaning litter boxes. I will 100% check Nicole's availability anytime I need to have my fur babies looked after and spoiled!”

About: I have previously taken care of dogs, cats, and bunnies! I love taking my dog (Chewy) on his daily walks and giving him lots of attention and treats. I am here for unconditional love and pets! I am currently home from college at UC Davis until late August and have a very flexible schedule throughout the week. I am happy to work last minute and fit into changing schedules! Unfortunately my dog does not do very well with other dogs at our house, but I can spend time with animals at clients homes in the backyard or indoor living spaces.
