“I wasn't sure how my cats would do with someone they didn't know, but any concerns disappeared when Nicole came by prior to my pet sitting needs in order to meet the cats and get the run down on what the cats would need while I was away on business. Zigs, in particular, is generally weary of new people, but she warmed up to Nicole pretty much straight away, and it wasn't long after that Cheddars was also looking for scritches. To say it was a huge relief to have Nicole look after my fur babies while I was away for nearly a week is an understatement. I have a couple of cat cams so I can look in on them when I'm away, and the history of what was recorded is available for me to check. When I checked in each day, I saw Nicole sitting on the floor playing with and giving scritches to both cats. At one point, Zigs was even following her! When I returned home, both cats were calm and relaxed. They got their nasty canned food every day, fresh water, and all three litter boxes cleaned. They were clearly well cared for while I was away, above and beyond just feeding them and cleaning litter boxes. I will 100% check Nicole's availability anytime I need to have my fur babies looked after and spoiled!”
About: I have lived with animals (mostly dogs and one cat) my entire life. I started off with taking care of my own dogs and then volunteered at shelters throughout high school and undergraduate school. I have house sat and animal sat for friends and family off and on since 2022. I've watched over a range of animal personalities from very excitable and energetic to reactive and anxious. I also find it very important to maintain grooming, hygiene, and activity/mental stimulation for your pets. I do not have experience with dog training, however, I have successfully trained my own dogs with basic commands. I moved out to the Bay Area 2 years ago to be a full-time PhD student at Palo Alto University. While I do have work and school, I am remote most days in the week (Thursday through Monday), so I can dedicate the time and care your pet needs :) I appreciate having an average schedule including times they go outside, walks, feeding, and hygiene so I can help your pet have as smooth of a transition as possible. I tend to follow your pet's cues and slowly build the trust between us. I love giving them affection while maintaining the training and expectations you have. About: When I was kid I had two dogs, 3 bunnies, some chicken, 2 ducks and some turtles all in my house. Yes we had a big backyard. I have always been in love with animals. And my kids do too! Dogs are allowed everywhere with the exception of our dining tables :-) They pretty much rule here. I’m currently working from home so I will have plenty of time to take your dog for walks and play fetch and walk with them I promise to hide all small toys and anything that your dog can eat it before you arrive. Sumaira safely got my girl home and check her out from head to toe. She promptly notified me that the husky was attacked, however alright. Sumaira let me know there was a little blood on her ear, however she did not appear to be injured. I myself have had another dog attack us when we were walking. Sumaira did the responsible thing and notified me and ensured my girl was alright. In this type of situation that is best can be accomplished and despite this incident I will ask Sumaira to walk her again.”

About: I’ve had dogs and taken care of dogs my whole life. 1 of my families dogs currently has had a history of being reactive with other dogs. This has trained me to be very alert and careful while walking him. I’ve learned many tactics in that regard. I also just love dogs and would be so happy to take care of your dog like it’s my own. I take only online classes and then have work for a few hours in the evening on Mondays and Wednesdays. So I would be able to make your pet care my priority. I’m very respectful of other people’s space and always make sure to leave someone’s home spotless. I treat your animals like my own, playing, spending time, and caring for them as much as I can. I also am pretty active so I enjoyed taking my own dogs on their daily walks, and would definitely making sure your dogs get one if applicable.
About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and truly love them a lot. I have experience caring for my own dogs as well as helping take care of others’ pets. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding, playtime, and making sure every dog feels safe, happy, and loved. I am currently in California for the summer while my Fiance works full time. There is nothing I would love more than to take care of your lovely pets during the week! Since I’ll mainly be providing walks and drop-in care, my focus is on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own familiar environment. I always pay close attention during walks, make sure dogs are secure on leashes and harnesses, and follow any instructions owners provide regarding routines, safety, or special needs. I treat every pet with patience, love, and care, and I want owners to feel confident that their pets are in good hands with me.
