“Stephanie was absolutely wonderful, and highly recommend her to anyone. She was extremely kind, caring, and confident with handling our two dogs. Our dogs can be quite the handful and she took excellent care of them, providing frequent updates and pictures so we never had to worry about them. I will definitely be reaching out to Stephanie again anytime we need a dog sitter.”

“Sejla is a gem! We are so thankful for her. Excellent communication with meaningful updates, trustworthy and honest, punctual and responsible, and the absolute kindest. She always leaves our house in the same condition. Our dog loves her and we know Daisy is safe and in good hands with Sejla!”

“Malia was great with our dog, she was very engaging and interactive with him he seemed to really enjoy time with her. Malia did a great job and we would love to have her again in the future.”

“I have asked Michelle to cat-sit my kitty twice now and she has been great! My cat has separation anxiety and not only is Michelle great at calming her down, she plays with her a lot. She does a great job of making sure the litter is scooped, water is filled, and food bowls full. She has also been very respectful of my home; she is very clean. I will be asking her to cat-sit my Nugget in the future.”

“Estela was very professional and friendly towards our dog. Somehow our dog instantly bonded with her and even though he has separation anxiety, with Estela he was quite comfortable and calm. I would like to request her service again.”

“Kate was lovely! She took on the big job of watching our three pups. She sent daily updates with pictures and took great care of our house. Really great experience!”

“It was a great pleasure to have Danyel look after our little guy and home. As a siamese, he isn't the quietest cat to look after and has a particular set of routine he needs to follow but Danyel looked after him to the T! She was incredibly responsive, communicative, and went above and beyond the required ask to make sure our home and cat is burdened free by the time we got back from our trip. Thanks Danyel!”

“Jacob has provided phenomenal care in his drop-in visits for our cat over the last 1-2 years. Because of his consistent kindness, professionalism and caring for animals, we recently had him become our house-sitter as well (taking care of our 2 dogs in addition to the cat). And yet again, Jacob has come through and provided phenomenal care for our cat, our dogs, and our house.. He knows what he's doing, and does it so well!! We are so grateful to have found Jacob and to have him be our permanent house-sitter from now on. Amazing human being as well!”

“Leslie was so amazing while watching Wyatt and Pepita while we were away! We are so grateful for the great care she took with our pets. Leslie updated us daily with pictures and stories about Pepita and Wyatt. She really does a great job with everything (pet care, house care, and communication). We will be booking her again and highly recommend her!!”

“Elizabeth did a wonderful job caring for our little dog, Coco. She connected well with Coco during our meet and greet. Coco is a bit shy and she warmed to Elizabeth immediately. While we were away, Elizabeth sent us updates of how the two of them were doing. She also took excellent care of our home — leaving things nicer than she found them! I would highly recommend her as a dog and house sitter. We are looking forward to having her back!”

About: I grew up with dogs and have taken care of dogs and cats for the past 15 years. My friends, neighbors, and family members rely on me for help caring for their sweet animals. Im currently a full time graduate student, so I will have time at different points during the day to come check on your pets or watch them overnight. At a clients home I stay with the pets and follow all instructions given by the client. I never leave an animal longer than the maximum amount of time they can be alone and tend to do my work while spending time with the pet.

“Another great few days with Mèlanie. She is a wonderful, thoughtful sitter that takes care of our pooches, and our house, as if they were her own. Will always try to book her first whenever we go out of town.”

“Such an amazing sitter! I contacted Jaynee with very short notice and she got back to me within 5 min of me sending the message. She has been excellent in communicating, taking care of our babies and sending timely updates. Knowing our fur baby wasn’t feeling well when we left, we were glad Jaynee was there and felt very assured that my babies are in good hand. She was also super flexible in helping us adjusting our plans. Would 10/10 recommend Jaynee to any other dog/cat parents!!”

About: I have always had a deep love for dogs, growing up with one in my hometown. My experience expanded significantly during my time as an au pair in Germany, where I cared for Hannah, a beautiful Golden Retriever. Hannah was incredibly loving with her family but reactive around other dogs - she would bark and lunge toward them. I learned to read her body language, redirect her attention with treats and commands, and keep her calm during walks by choosing quieter routes and using positive reinforcement techniques. As a nursing student, I understand the importance of following detailed care instructions, maintaining routines, and watching for behavioral or health changes. Whether it's an energetic pup needing mental stimulation or a senior dog requiring gentler care, I adapt my approach to each dog's unique needs. I'll treat your furry family member with the same attention I'd want for my own future Golden Retriever (coming this September!). Currently: I'm completely free this summer until September 11th! This is the perfect time to build a great relationship with your pet before my fall classes begin. Starting fall quarter (September 22nd), I'll be a nursing student at De Anza College with a flexible weekday schedule that's perfect for pet care! My classes will only be on Monday mornings (9am-12pm) and Tuesday/Thursday evenings (3-7pm), leaving me plenty of time for your furry friends. My availability: Right now (until Sept 11): Available weekdays anytime! Fall semester: Weekday mornings, afternoons, and most evenings Weekends: Very rarely available - I prefer to keep weekends for personal time unless I have no other plans Advance notice: I prefer 1-2 days notice to ensure I can give your pet my full attention I'm available for: Dog walking (30-60 minutes) Drop-in visits (30-45 minutes) House sitting (day visits only - no overnight stays currently) My goal is to provide reliable, consistent care while pursuing my passion for helping others, both human and furry! Your pet's safety and comfort are my absolute priorities. As a nursing student, I understand the importance of following detailed instructions, maintaining routines, and watching for any changes in behavior or health. Having cared for pets as an au pair in Germany and Austria, I know how crucial trust is when caring for someone's beloved family member. I maintain open communication throughout our time together and treat every pet as if they were my own. Safety measures I follow: •Keep dogs securely leashed unless in owner-approved off-leash areas •Stick to familiar, safe routes you recommend •Ensure your home remains secure during visits •Immediate communication if anything unusual occurs I'm fluent in English, Thai, and conversational in German, making me comfortable with San Jose's diverse community. I have reliable emergency transportation and your vet's contact information readily available.

My availability makes it easy to give pets the time, attention, and love they deserve while you're away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space with the same respect and responsibility I would my own. I follow all instructions closely — whether it’s feeding schedules, medication, walk times, or play routines — to ensure your pet stays happy, healthy, and comfortable while you're away. I keep pets calm by maintaining their usual environment and routine, and I’m happy to send regular updates with photos so you always know how things are going. I also handle household tasks like bringing in mail, watering plants, and keeping things tidy. My goal is to make your time away stress-free — for both you and your pets!
