“Michelle has been a God send. She had been consistently on time and able to watch George for us a few times this week. She takes him on nice long walks and is easy to communicate with.”

“Jennie (and Bennie) are the best - see my last review! Jennie worked miracles with our shyest cat. I never thought I’d see him happily come out and meet strangers, and Jennie has patiently socialized him, to the point he happily greets her! Thank you, as always!”

“We are beyond grateful for the incredible care our pets and home received while we were away. Ana went above and beyond in every way, making sure the dogs were not only fed and walked regularly, but also administering medication correctly and with care. We came home to two very happy, healthy pups and a house that looked just as good (if not better!) than when we left. It was such a relief knowing everything was running smoothly in our absence. The attention to detail, communication, and genuine love for our animals was so appreciated. Highly recommend and would absolutely trust her again without hesitation!”

“We’ve used Katie a few times now to watch our pup and we can’t say enough good things. She’s attentive, kind, a great communicator, and responsible. We are so happy we found Katie and can go on trips knowing our sweet girl is in good hands. Katie helps administer meds to our pup and is very intuitive with knowing what our dog needs. Thank you Katie for taking the best care of our girl!”

“Juliana did a great job taking care of our dog Bailey! She was very communicative and even provided an emergency contact. She's trustworthy and reliable. Definitely recommend! Thanks again Juliana :)”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover who had the joy of caring for my beloved Bichon Frise for over ten years. I raised her from adulthood through her senior years, and was by her side through several surgeries and recovery periods. She was family, and I gave her all the love and attention she deserved every single day. I’ve also looked after friends’ dogs when they traveled, and genuinely enjoy spending time walking, playing, and bonding with pups of all personalities. Dogs bring me so much happiness, and I treat every one as if they were my own. I’m currently fully available and happy to work with your schedule! Whether it’s daily walks, overnight stays, or last-minute drop-ins, I can be flexible and adjust to your pet’s needs. Weekdays, weekends, mornings, or evenings—I’m here to help whenever you need. Let me know what works best for you and your furry friend. I’ll do my best to make it easy and stress-free! At the moment, I provide in-home pet care only, which means I’ll come to your home to walk, feed, play with, or check on your pet. I do not offer boarding or pet stays at my own place. This allows your pet to stay comfortable in their familiar environment, and I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well-cared for while you’re away. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays at your place, I’m happy to help and flexible with scheduling.

“If I could give Irene more than 5 stars, I would! She is hands down the best dog sitter we’ve ever had. From the moment she met our pup, we knew she was something special. She’s kind, attentive, responsible, and truly treats our dog like her own. We got regular updates, adorable photos, and could tell our Gigi was happy, relaxed, and so well cared for. It’s not easy to leave your pet with someone, but with her, we had complete peace of mind.”

About: I had a dog since I was 9 who sadly passed away after 13 years. Love dogs but can’t get my own until I move out. I watch dogs for family friends on the side. I love all dogs especially high energy dogs who needs long walks. I’m currently in a masters program Monday-Friday 8-5. I nanny kids with special needs through the week on a loose schedule. I’m able to leave school during lunch. I’m great at long runs/walks cuddles my sister has been working on rover for 2 years and we have a dog at our house every day of the year!

“Thank you for your care and professional service while looking after Ralph for the first time. You provided great care and reassured me of his care during my time overseas. Great house sitter too!”

“We cannot give higher praise for Amyra and James. They put our minds at ease and were such amazing help! Our puppies loved them and we really appreciate everything they did. We trust them completely and are no longer worried about leaving our pups knowing they’d be in the best hands!”

About: I’ve had dogs of my own for over 22 years, and caring for animals has always been one of the deepest joys in my life. From raising playful puppies to lovingly supporting senior dogs through their later years, I’ve been through it all and I treat every animal like family! My connection with animals runs deep. I genuinely love and care for them with my whole heart. Whether it’s going on long walks, giving belly rubs, or just providing a calm, safe space for them to relax, I’m fully present and attentive to each pet’s unique needs and personality. I’m experienced with a variety of breeds, temperaments, and care routines, and I always show up with patience, compassion, and reliability. When your pet is with me, they’re not just being looked after they’re being loved. What sets me apart is my attention to detail, patience, and natural intuition with animals. I understand body language, stress signals, and energy levels, and I tailor my care to match each pet’s unique needs. Whether your dog loves high-energy walks or prefers slow, snuggly companionship, I’m here to provide comfort, structure, and lots of love. I’m also highly dependable and keep you updated with photos and notes so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away. I run my own business as a personal trainer, which gives me the flexibility to create a schedule that works around your pet’s needs. Because I manage my own time, I’m able to prioritize pet care throughout the day. Whether that’s early morning walks, mid-day drop-ins, or evening check-ins. This flexibility allows me to be fully present and dependable. I treat every pet I care for with the same love and attention I’ve given my own dogs for over 22 years. Your pet's routine becomes a part of my routine, and I’m happy to accommodate what makes them feel safe, loved, and at ease. I have 3 friendly, well-socialized dogs of my own who love the company of other animals. My home is calm, pet-friendly, and a great environment for dogs to feel comfortable, play, or relax. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect your space as if it were my own and follow your routines carefully. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and needs, making sure they feel secure, loved, and at ease. I understand how important trust is when it comes to your pets, they’re family. That’s why I provide clear communication, photo updates, and genuine care every step of the way.

About: I’ve grown up with both cats and dogs! Outside of my own pets, I have had experience in both dog/cat sitting and house sitting for friends and family. From my past experiences, I have built close and trusting relationships with both animals and owners. I’m responsible, have great communication skills, and tend to be flexible with scheduling. I just graduated from college and I’m free these upcoming months (June-Aug.) for pet sitting and house sitting! My schedule is very flexible, so I’m open to daily and weekly check ups. I’m open to caring for each animal based on the owners requests and desires! I’m naturally a nurturing person so paying close attention to animals are my top priority!

About: I have extensive experience caring for pets of all ages, including those with health conditions. Growing up in a family that loves animals, I’ve cared for both dogs and cats, as well as fostered animals in need. I’ve assisted with the care of my family’s cats, who are currently 20 and 21 years old, ensuring their comfort and quality of life in their senior years. From 2013 to 2018, I was responsible for the care of our American Bully dog (aged 7-13). Between 2020 and 2022, I took care of my roommate’s and my shared cat (aged 7-9. In 2023-2024, I fostered a special-needs cat with asthma and FIV (age 12), managing her medical care and providing a safe home. I also currently assist with the care of my boyfriend’s Havanese dog, Suki (age 7). Through these experiences, I’ve developed a strong understanding of animal care, especially for senior pets and those with medical needs. I’m dedicated, compassionate, and committed to ensuring all pets feel safe, loved, and well-cared-for. I work a hybrid schedule, which allows me to offer consistent, around-the-clock care for your pets. I work from home on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, so I'm available to care for your pets throughout the day. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, I work in the office but am available to provide care after 5 PM. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, my priority is always their comfort, safety, and well-being. I’m always open to discussing any boundaries or rules, whether it’s about pet routines, house rules, or anything else to make sure both your pets and home are treated with the utmost care. Additionally, I follow the principle of leaving a place better than I found it; whether that means tidying up, making sure everything is in order, or taking extra care to ensure pets are as happy and settled as possible. I believe in keeping clear, open communication with you, so you always feel confident about the care your pets are receiving. Whether it’s sending regular updates, discussing your pets’ needs, or being available for any questions or concerns, I make sure to keep my line of communication open.

About: I enjoy caring for animals to make the travel experience as zen as possible for everyone involved. My experience has been with dogs from puppy to senior with varying physical and cognitive abilities, although I'm comfortable with larger dogs I prefer under 80 lbs unless they are lower energy. I also have experience with kittens to larger cats. * Even if your animal isn't listed feel free to reach out I am always glad to learn. As a long term traveler and wellness practitioner, I work mostly online which grants me the opportunity to work with families and fur babies as needed. I am empathetic and creative when dealing with both people and animals. Which means, I tailor my approach to individual needs to fulfill the necessary requirements

“Alice is AMAZING! She sent regular updates and photos while we were away - it was very obvious our 15 year old miniature dachshund was getting the royal treatment! We will definitely use her again and highly recommend her.”

Tatianna L.
“Tatianna and I met almost 5 years ago while traveling Mexico. She was offering wellness services near my home and I'd regularly come to her for counseling and wellness service. During that time I made an emergency trip to the states and asked her to watch my home and two dogs for 3 weeks. I'd offered to pay and she refused. When I returned she organized and the house was so fresh. I insisted on giving her more than I originally planned. Since that time she is my first choice for sitting in both my home in Mexico and in the US. I'd recommend Tatianna 100% everytime, not just for home or pet sitting but for her wellness services. She has such a unique ability to calm the soul. 10/10”

Irvine pet parents share their Rover experiences
Elena was very accommodating with my situation. Her place wasn’t hard to find and my Milo and enjoyed his time over there. She often send pictures and also send me messages every day to let me know how he was doing and what he was up to. I would definitely be using her again and her family love My Milo as well. I was very pleased with how much care they gave him.

Zachary house-sat my dog for an afternoon. He was very responsive when booking, was flexible with my schedule, and very easy to communicate with. He took great care of my dog - I’d recommend Zach to anyone looking for pet care. I will definitely be re-booking with him in the future.

Jennie and Bennie recently did an amazing job house sitting for my trio, and will always be my go-to for anything cat related. Long story short: I recently had a few major life changes, and suddenly found myself (with my cats) in a completely different space, including the exit of someone who had been in their lives for a really long time I wanted to make sure that my cats were doing okay, so one of the first things I did was to arrange for Jennie to do weekly playdates with my cats - I knew they needed the consistency of a familiar face to move through this movement, and Jennie gamely accepted. My cats are weird and quirky like most cats, and don’t handle stress well. It was obvious immediately that having Jennie visit regularly was helping them make this transition. Fast forward to the recent house sit - I was leaving town for the first time since the life change, and it would be the first time the cats would have Jennie stay over. Out of EVERYTHING I needed for the trip, Jennie was the one thing I didn’t worry about. She did everything to perfection; she sent me amazing updates, and made sure I felt like my cats were cared for from 3000 miles away. I think the fact that when I got home, the cats acted like nothing was wrong, is truly a testament to Jennie’s skill. It’s like I hadn’t even been gone, and as cat owners know, that’s a sign all things are good in cat world.

I can’t say enough amazing things about Ivana! From the start, she was warm, professional, and clearly had a special way with animals. My pups took to her instantly! Ivana kept me updated with the sweetest photos and little notes, and I could tell my pups were not just cared for, but genuinely loved. It’s such a relief to have someone I can fully trust while I’m away. Ivana went above and beyond in every way, and I honestly feel so lucky to have found her. If you’re looking for someone reliable, kind, and absolutely dog-obsessed (in the best way), Ivana is it. 10/10!

Kassie watched my pup King for three nights while I was away on a work trip, and I couldn't be more grateful for her care. She was communicative throughout, sending regular updates and sweet photos that put me at ease. King was dealing with some stomach issues at the time, which required a bit of extra TLC, and Kassie handled it all with diligence and care. She was receptive to all the notes and guidance I provided and was prompt in asking thoughtful questions whenever she wasn’t sure about something. King seemed to really like her energy and trust her, which says a lot. I’d be happy to book Kassie again for both short- and long-term care!

This was our first time using Rover.com and we were reluctant to reach out to a stranger to stay in our home with our dog. It turned out to be the best decision we could have made. We are so happy to have found Michelle. She is wonderful with our dog and he loves her, and we were very comfortable having her stay in our home. I highly recommend Michelle for pet and house sitting.

It was such a pleasure to have a joyful pet sitter! From the first house visit I could tell how much she cares for dogs. She listened carefully to instructions and followed through on my requests! Even when I booked the dates incorrectly she updated the gig and we were set. Daily photo updates put me at ease knowing she was caring for Penny and keeping her safe at home.

Van is an amazing cat sitter and I would definetly book her again in the future! She was super attentive to our cats needs and we were able to enjoy our long international trip without worrying about our kitties at home. She gave us very detailed updates and photos which we also appreciated!!
