About: I’ve spent the last 11+ years caring for a wide range of animals — from energetic puppies to senior cats, to birds, turtles, and even large-breed dogs. Growing up surrounded by animals and now caring for my own dog and cat, I’ve always had a natural connection with pets and a deep sense of responsibility for their wellbeing. Before joining Rover, I provided private pet sitting and walking for family friends, neighbors, and referrals for many years. I’ve worked with shy pets, playful pets, anxious pets, and pets with unique routines. I’m patient, gentle, attentive, and quick to recognize what an animal needs to feel safe and comfortable. I’m confident with different temperaments and sizes, and I genuinely love spending time with animals — ensuring they get affection, stimulation, consistency, and reliable care while their families are away. Whether it’s a long walk, a calm cuddle session, or maintaining a specific routine, I always tailor my care to each pet’s personality. I treat every animal as if they were my own, and I always keep communication clear and consistent so you feel fully at ease while you’re away. My pets mean the world to me, and I treat yours with that same degree of love. Pet care is a natural part of my everyday life since I care for my own dog and cat daily. I work full-time on weekdays from roughly 8:30am–5pm, but I’m available for morning and evening walks, check-ins, and plenty of quality time before and after work. On weekends, I’m fully available for drop-ins, walks, and house sitting. For house sitting, I make sure pets get a consistent morning routine before I leave and lots of attention, walks, and playtime once I’m home in the evening. Many clients find that this schedule matches their own workday, creating a comfortable and predictable routine for their pets. Pet care is something I truly enjoy, so I build it naturally into my daily rhythm and keep communication open so you always know how your little one is doing. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, safety and comfort are always my first priority. When I’m in your home, I follow your routines exactly as you outline them, from feeding schedules to walk routes to household boundaries. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, sensitivities, and comfort levels so I can make the experience as stress-free and familiar as possible. I’m very attentive to doors, gates, harnesses, and leashes, and I always double-check that your home is secure before I leave. I keep a calm, gentle presence so pets feel safe around me, and I’m mindful of their body language to make sure they’re comfortable with any interaction. Clean water, a tidy litter box, a clean feeding area, and a predictable routine are things I’m consistent about every visit. If I’m house sitting, I treat your home with the same respect and care I’d want for mine. I maintain a clean environment, follow all instructions closely, and keep you updated with regular messages and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. I handle unexpected situations calmly and communicate clearly so you feel confident and informed at all times. Overall, I prioritize trust, communication, and creating a peaceful, safe environment where your pet can relax and feel cared for — just like they would with you.
About: I am the go to dog and house sitter for a number of people in my life. Not only will I love and snuggle your dog like it was my own, but I love to keep your house as tidy as I keep mine. I enjoy doing laundry, picking up around the house, keeping the kitchen neat and organized. I thrive on helping people have easier & lighter days (especially after being away). I am strong and can handle taking dogs on walks (even big dogs), throwing a ball for them to chase, and giving lots of snuggles. I have a flexible full time job that allows me to create my own schedule. I work partially remote as needed which allows me to spend plenty of time with your fur child as needed! I prefer to stay in your home as I have an apartment without an outdoor space. At your house I will make sure the dog has access to outside, always ensuring all water bowls are filled, and they are fed on their normal schedule. I will follow all rules you have set for your house and your pet!
“Amyra and James were absolutely incredible! It's so reassuring to know that your pups are in such good hands while you are away. The fact that they stayed longer to accommodate our delay really shows their dedication and passion for what they do; they went above and beyond. We got regular updates and pictures and we came home to happy pups. They were on point and very attentive of our babies' needs. I highly recommend them!”
“Maddie sat our Shih Tzu at our home for about 10 days while we were out on vacation. It was our first time using Rover and we were a bit nervous so we scheduled a meet and greet with Maddie beforehand and explained to her Bo's routine with detailed instructions. Maddie followed all our instructions carefully, kept us posted on Bo everyday and sent sooo many photos / videos (keeping us relived that our pet was well taken care of). Our dog looked very happy and comfortable with Maddie around. I think Maddie is a very responsible, kind and passionate pet sitter. We will definitely continue to have her sit our dog in the future and totally recommend her to all.”

“Michelle was able to help us watch our 2 cats on short notice. She followed our directions and updated us with photos and messages. She seemed comfortable with caring for our temperamental grumpy cat and our other cat loved her.”

“Ivana was great with Copper and Ozzy! She took excellent care of them for the week and sent tons of pictures and updates, which I really appreciated. They were happy and well cared for when I got back. I’d absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her.”

“I cannot say enough nice things about our experience with Silvia. My dog absolutely loves her and she did a wonderful job dog sitting and house sitting while we were away. I highly recommend her.”

Uc Irvine pet parents share their Rover experiences
Leaving for almost two weeks can be quite stressful when you have a pup at home. Remi made that stress and worrisome feelings all go away. She took wonderful care of our dog Rocco, and our home. She sent updates with photos everyday and I knew Rocco was being cared for. On her last day at our home we had a small family emergency and she stepped in and helped out. She even checked in on my mother in-law the following day. I truly can’t say enough good things about Remi and I’d highly recommend her to anyone who is still looking for someone to watch their pet.

Sara was so sweet and wonderful with Waffles. She was prompt, very responsive, and sent photos and updates, which I really appreciated. She made the whole experience easy and stress free, and it was obvious she genuinely loves pups. I would happily book her again.

Ivana was great with Copper and Ozzy! She took excellent care of them for the week and sent tons of pictures and updates, which I really appreciated. They were happy and well cared for when I got back. I’d absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her.

Laura is absolutely amazing. My boys are usually nervous around new people and she made them so comfortable and happy! My older chi needs daily medication and she didn't blink an eye, making sure he had everything he needed. She sent lots of daily pics and videos, and my home was super neat and tidy upon my return. I would HIGHLY recommend Laura and will absolutely use her services again in the future.
