Great experience! We loved all the updates and pictures she sent, and how closely she followed our care instructions. Bean seemed like he had the best time - he was so tired and fell asleep right when we got home. Will definitely book Alyssa again!

We've booked Katie for house sitting and already have another upcoming booking with her. She's knowledgeable, kept our house clean, and was easy to communicate with. Katie provided excellent care for our high-energy puppy and showed great affection for our senior dog. We appreciated all the updates with photos and videos, which kept us reassured and worry-free. We were initially concerned about finding someone who could handle our puppy's playful nature, quirks, and challenging behaviors, but Katie quickly eased our worries. Both dogs seem happy and well cared for, and we're grateful to have found someone patient and understanding of our dog’s unique needs. Looking forward to our next booking! Thanks again!

Freya is great! Everything you'd want in a sitter - very responsive, flexible about timing, and a genuine animal lover. She sent adorable pictures of our animals during her stay, and when I got home I could tell both our dog and our cat had a good time and had been in great hands. I will definitely use Freya again to watch Finn & Milo and would recommend her to others!

Absolutely fantastic. She House/Cat sat for us and was very communicative, sent lots of photos, gave us many updates, and left the house immaculate. We can tell if a cat sitter hasn’t done their job because our cat gets stress dreadlocks. Our cat was incredibly happy and his coat was perfect when we got home. She also took him on his leash walks which made him extra happy. Highly recommended.

About: I’ve spent the last 11+ years caring for a wide range of animals — from energetic puppies to senior cats, to birds, turtles, and even large-breed dogs. Growing up surrounded by animals and now caring for my own dog and cat, I’ve always had a natural connection with pets and a deep sense of responsibility for their wellbeing. Before joining Rover, I provided private pet sitting and walking for family friends, neighbors, and referrals for many years. I’ve worked with shy pets, playful pets, anxious pets, and pets with unique routines. I’m patient, gentle, attentive, and quick to recognize what an animal needs to feel safe and comfortable. I’m confident with different temperaments and sizes, and I genuinely love spending time with animals — ensuring they get affection, stimulation, consistency, and reliable care while their families are away. Whether it’s a long walk, a calm cuddle session, or maintaining a specific routine, I always tailor my care to each pet’s personality. I treat every animal as if they were my own, and I always keep communication clear and consistent so you feel fully at ease while you’re away. My pets mean the world to me, and I treat yours with that same degree of love. Pet care is a natural part of my everyday life since I care for my own dog and cat daily. I work full-time on weekdays from roughly 8:30am–5pm, but I’m available for morning and evening walks, check-ins, and plenty of quality time before and after work. On weekends, I’m fully available for drop-ins, walks, and house sitting. For house sitting, I make sure pets get a consistent morning routine before I leave and lots of attention, walks, and playtime once I’m home in the evening. Many clients find that this schedule matches their own workday, creating a comfortable and predictable routine for their pets. Pet care is something I truly enjoy, so I build it naturally into my daily rhythm and keep communication open so you always know how your little one is doing. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, safety and comfort are always my first priority. When I’m in your home, I follow your routines exactly as you outline them, from feeding schedules to walk routes to household boundaries. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, sensitivities, and comfort levels so I can make the experience as stress-free and familiar as possible. I’m very attentive to doors, gates, harnesses, and leashes, and I always double-check that your home is secure before I leave. I keep a calm, gentle presence so pets feel safe around me, and I’m mindful of their body language to make sure they’re comfortable with any interaction. Clean water, a tidy litter box, a clean feeding area, and a predictable routine are things I’m consistent about every visit. If I’m house sitting, I treat your home with the same respect and care I’d want for mine. I maintain a clean environment, follow all instructions closely, and keep you updated with regular messages and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. I handle unexpected situations calmly and communicate clearly so you feel confident and informed at all times. Overall, I prioritize trust, communication, and creating a peaceful, safe environment where your pet can relax and feel cared for — just like they would with you.

About: I bring nearly 10 years of experience caring for homes and pets, from tiny Chihuahuas to gentle Bernese Mountain Dogs. I’m skilled in puppy training, senior pet care, and understanding each animal’s unique needs. As a Mindset & Mental Health coach, I naturally bring patience, calm, and strong intuition, ensuring pets feel safe and loved. Known for my reliability, warmth, and attention to detail, I give homeowners complete peace of mind while they’re away. I work fully remote as a Mindset & Mental Health coach, which gives me a flexible daily and weekly routine. This allows me to dedicate plenty of focused time to your pets—feeding, walking, playtime, and companionship—while also keeping your home tidy and well cared for. My remote work schedule ensures I’m consistently present, attentive, and available to respond to any needs as they arise. I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and loving environment for every pet I care for. I prefer to sit at clients’ homes, keeping pets in the comfort of their familiar surroundings and routines. I care for them just as if they were my own—providing companionship, attention, and affection while ensuring their space is clean, secure, and stress-free. My goal is for both pets and homeowners to feel completely at ease while I’m caring for them.

About: I’m an active young guy who loves animals and was raised with lots of family dogs. I house sit often for family/friends and have watched everything from teacup Pomeranians to a Great Dane. Currently I don’t have any pets but I work remotely and can easily house sit. My schedule gives me time to play with and look after your loved ones. I won’t just leave your pups to sit in a room, I’ll play with them and make sure they’re entertained (let me know what they like 😁). Please ask me anything! I currently work remote and get up early. I have relatively few meetings and have lots of opportunities to watch, entertain, and go for walks. I’m lucky enough to live in a home with lots of open space: a secondary living room and a large enclosed patio area. I like to let animals have space to walk around, lay in the sun, and play. The kitchen is easily blocked off so no need to worry about any loose crumbs being found.

About: Hi! I’m Nadya - a passionate animal lover with years of experience in dog walking and pet sitting. I had my own company "Leashwalks" for 3 years while living in NYC and doing it as a full time job. I treat every pup like family and make sure they feel loved, safe, and happy while you’re away. 🐶💕 When house sitting, I follow your pet’s routine closely, give plenty of walks, playtime, food and water, medicine if needed, and lots of cuddles. I will also keep your home clean and respected, as it's my own - water plants, get the packages in, clean up. I’m also a photographer, so I may occasionally step out for local shoots (mostly at the beach), but never for too long (6-7 hours max) -sometimes I have shoots in Malibu so the drive can just take longer that expected - but your dog’s comfort and safety always come first. And as a thank-you gift, I’d love to take a beautiful photo of your pup during my stay, if you are ok with it! Looking forward to meeting your furry friend! Pet care is an essential part of my daily routine. While I may step away for 4-7 hours at most for photography shoots, the rest of the time I'll be at your home, editing photos and spending time with your pup. I make sure to walk your dog 3-4 times a day, giving them plenty of exercise, attention, and love throughout the day. In your home, I make sure your pet feels comfortable by sticking to their routine - providing walks, playtime, and plenty of attention. I ensure their safety and well-being while keeping your home tidy and secure.

Leaving for almost two weeks can be quite stressful when you have a pup at home. Remi made that stress and worrisome feelings all go away. She took wonderful care of our dog Rocco, and our home. She sent updates with photos everyday and I knew Rocco was being cared for. On her last day at our home we had a small family emergency and she stepped in and helped out. She even checked in on my mother in-law the following day. I truly can’t say enough good things about Remi and I’d highly recommend her to anyone who is still looking for someone to watch their pet.
