Stays, Walks & Visits for your baby

I’ve cared for my Pembroke Welsh Corgi since he was 10 weeks old, and he is now almost five. I enrolled him in puppy classes, established a consistent daily routine, and have always stayed on top of his veterinary care, vaccinations, checkups, grooming, exercise, and enrichment. Raising him from puppyhood taught me how much patience, consistency, attention, and affection dogs need. I can also administer oral medication and am comfortable caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes.

Anita is a loving, kind and caring person. She adores animals and handles them with the sweetest touch, knows when to pull the reigns back, and creates a special bond with any animal she interacts. She is a dog mom herself and treats her dog as she would her own child. I highly recommend Anita for Rover. She has great experience, expertise, patience, strength, and will treat your dog well.

Schedule

I maintain a highly flexible schedule, so i’m readily available for midday walks and drop-in visits, boarding, and house sitting. I can easily accommodate last-minute, same-day appointments. I plan my day around each dog’s usual feeding, potty, walking, medication, and bedtime routine. During boarding or house sitting, dogs may be left alone for up to three hours at a time, depending on their individual needs. Please let me know if your dog requires more frequent supervision before booking.

Safety, trust & environment

I live with my boyfriend and our Pembroke Welsh Corgi in an apartment with a large patio. Guest dogs are welcome on our furniture and beds, and I do my best to make them feel like part of the family. Dogs are always supervised while using the patio. For boarding, I require a meet-and-greet with my Corgi so we can make sure the dogs are comfortable together. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully, keep dogs leashed outside, monitor interactions, and maintain their established routines. When house sitting or completing drop-in visits, I will treat your home respectfully and make sure it is secured when I leave. I’m also happy to provide regular photos and updates.

A typical day

A typical day will be based on your dog’s normal routine. It may include neighborhood walks, potty breaks, meals, playtime, enrichment activities, and plenty of affection and relaxation. I enjoy letting dogs sniff and explore safely during walks rather than rushing them. At home, they can spend time with us, relax on the furniture, play, or enjoy the patio under supervision. I’ll adjust the day to your dog’s age, energy level, personality, and preferences.

Before caring for your dog, I’d like to know about their usual routine, temperament, energy level, feeding instructions, medications, allergies, medical needs, and any fears or triggers. Please also tell me how they behave around other dogs and whether they have any history of aggression, resource guarding, separation anxiety, escaping, or destructive behavior. I welcome dogs of all breeds and sizes, including dogs over 100 pounds. However, I cannot safely walk dogs over 40 pounds who regularly pull hard or lunge. Please be honest about leash behavior so I can make sure I’m the right fit for your dog.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
