About: I have grown up my whole life with dogs, and I am very comfortable around all types. I have volunteered at the Dane County Humane Society as an Adoption Counselor while in college, so I have undergone behavior training for many aspects of dog care. I am familiar with walking dogs on leases, with harnesses, using commands, as well as resource guarding, jumpy/mouthy/mounting behavior, shy/fearfulness, and escape artists. I only use positive reinforcement for training. I have an educational background in genetics and public health, and I am involved in my local religious community as well. I’ve lived in OC for about 3 years now, having moved from the Midwest. In my spare time I’m learning to crochet, and I love playing with my dog Pax, a chihuahua/pomeranian mix whom I’ve recently adopted. I work from home, so am around most of the day, and have a small fenced in patio for potty breaks between walks. I’m a fan of the local dog parks, and will bring your dog there with your permission. I work from home, so my dog gets a minimum of 3 walks around the neighborhood and we often go to a local dog park too after work. I’m rarely away from home for more than 4 hours at a time. My fenced in patio is open for potty breaks, but I usually do a minimum of 3 walks per day around my neighborhood. I’m also happy to bring them to dog parks for socialization. Since I have a dog myself, there will also be plenty of socialization at home.

About: My dog Mr.Paisley is 20 years old & Buttercup is 3. I've been blessed to have paisley since he was just a fresh puppy and I was still just a kid. We grew up together & through that he has taught me lessons I will carry for rest of my life, like unconditional love, compassion, joy for the present moment & so much more. Buttercup I got as a puppy as well & she instantly brought so much life into our home. I trained her myself to follow commands like stay, lay sit, sit on her butt with paws up, potty training and so much more cool stuff we practice everyday. There's a lot of love between paisley & buttercup, despite the age difference its actual been complimentary to each of them and has made a nice balance in the environment we cultivated as a pack together with regular activities, playtime, rest & relaxing all part of our daily routines. I am currently in college taking fully online courses & I also have an audio production company that I run completely remote from my home online, audio is also what I am in school for. So between these as my primary obligations with an occasional audio engineering gig I have plenty of time to give all the love, walks and attention any dog would need. It's mutually beneficial for me and the dogs because I love to be active and they simply give me joy. I have my home accommodated for dogs to live their best life. I have a fenced backyard with a long 30ft long dog run with trees and dirt on the side of my home, then the actual backyard has sun most of the daytime with places for them to lounge and shaded spots to be in the fresh air, there's also grass for them to do business and a small puppy pool for the dogs who like to splash around a bit and play. The inside of my home is big and open with the upstairs and front office already secure with puppy gates installed so they can wander safely and to their hearts content. I have big low to the floor comfy couches the dogs are totally allowed to be on and a special area in my living room that's 10x10 feet that I dedicated as a play pen area with padded floors under and cozy washable potty matts so the dogs feel like they have their own personal space they can get in & out of & go to whenever they want. Mr.Paisley my 20 year old dog loves it. Because he's older now I have learned how to manage special diets and ive also gained a deep instinct to notice things that indicate to me to give extra love and attention, also to handle serious situations calmly and correctly. I have a sliding screen door that I installed a dog door on so the dogs have access to outside all day anytime they want. I go on about 8 walks a day, different lengths & different speeds depending on the dog and I love it. This is a happy, healthy home your dog will love to be apart of.

They let me swing by their place first so I could see it before I committed. These folks are 100% cat people and their place is all about the felines! Nice cats live there too but I thought mine would do best in their own private space. The private suite had lots of soft places for them to nap, a window, and climbing surfaces. Bennie & Jennie asked good questions and were genuinely interested to know the temperaments and needs of my kitties, and anything they could do to make them (or me) feel safe and happy during the stay. I got updates the night I dropped off my cats and through the next day, along with photos and videos. They even collected everything I brought, put my cats in their carriers, and brought everything down to me upon checkout. Great service, Bennie & Jennie! They sent me home with an envelope and when I opened it later that night I found a little photo of each of my 2 fur babies. Nice touch, guys! >^,,^<”

She initially came to my house, and then when my a/c died, I moved my cat to my brother's house, and Brooke came there too, to learn my cat's routine, get a key, etc. 2) Brooke was very responsive, and kept me updated - letting me know when she was visiting my cat, sending photos, etc. 3) Brooke was very conscientious about my brother's house (where my cat stayed). I left out enough clean bowls that she could have used a new food bowl every day, but she washed up the bowls after feeding my cat (it's wet food, so the bowls get crusty). She also scooped the litter box and took those bags to the outdoor trash so they weren't in the house for days. 4) My cat was happy to see me, but not desperate - if that makes sense. About: I’ve had a drive to care for animals my entire life! I grew up with dogs and mostly cats and would dog-sitting for family members anytime they needed! I’ve always known that I wanted to work with animals when I grew up but veterinary care would make me too sad as it physically pains me to see sad and hurt animals:( I also have a history with horses and competing! I spent a summer(2023) in Louisiana volunteering at a barn where retired racehorses would get sent to rehab, retrain, and eventually rehome! I would spend all day helping rehab the horses! I worked at PetSmart both in the store as a PetCare Specialist and in the Grooming Salon as a Professional Bather! During my time there I realized how much I love making pets and their parents happy and a little more healthier! I loved talking with pet parents and educating them while also hearing about their furry babies! Nothing made me happier than seeing one of my clients walking in - tail wagging! I have a dog and a cat of my own! My dog is a mini Australian Shepherd whom I have trained myself! He loves to do agility training! I also groom him myself! I rescued my cat from the side of a freeway when he was a little kitten. He’s had some medical issues regarding his bladder so I’m well rounded with cat care and administering medicine! My cat is now my little Velcro kitty who always wants to be involved in what I’m doing! I’ve worked with all kinds of dogs- big and small! About: I’ve had dogs in my family and in my life ever since I was born, I’ve taken care of all sizes and breeds of dogs and haven’t come across a dog I didn’t LOVE! About: A few fun facts about me: 🚽 I clean the litter box as often as I flush my own toilet 🥗 My pets eat organic, while I’m perfectly fine with fast food 💇 They get daily grooming, while I have a bad hair everyday 🫧 I keep their bowls spotless and shining 🦮 I make sure dogs get real walks, not just quick potty breaks (And this part might be a little bit long) I truly treat pets as family, but I also believe in raising them in a healthy, balanced way. I don’t just love them, I care about their physical and emotional well-being. I’ve raised my Shiba Inu (Chai) since she was 3 months old, and she’s now 10. Shibas are known for being stubborn, but she is well-trained, emotionally stable and sweet, and always praised by our vet for her health and temperament. I’ve always made sure she has the best care, structure, and attention she needs to thrive. I also have two long-haired cats, one Ragdoll (Mabu) and one British Longhair (Mango), so I’m very familiar with the level of grooming, patience, and daily care they require. Their coats are always well-maintained and tangle-free. Mango went through serious health challenges two years ago when he was 5-month old, and I personally managed his treatment at home for 84 days, followed by months of close care. He is now strong, active, and very healthy. I’ve also handled emergency situations and know how to act quickly when something isn’t right. Through all of this, I’ve become very comfortable with medications, health monitoring, and understanding different pet personalities. I’m patient, observant, and detail-oriented, but also calm and reliable in stressful situations. I’m flexible, communicative, and I genuinely care. Your pet won’t just be looked after, they’ll be understood, respected, and cared for like one of my own. I work part-time and have a pretty flexible schedule, so I’m able to spend a good amount of time caring for fur babies throughout the day! About: I have grown up my whole life with dogs, and I am very comfortable around all types. I have volunteered at the Dane County Humane Society as an Adoption Counselor while in college, so I have undergone behavior training for many aspects of dog care.
