About: I grew up with a dog and learned how to care for and raise him from a young age. He lived a long life and passed away in my arms at 17, which taught me how deeply pets become part of the family. Later, when I became a parent myself, we brought two dogs into our home right away. About: The last 5 years I have been taking care of all variety’s of dogs! Young and old to small and large! About: I’ve had animals for my entire life, including dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, birds, and fish. For the past seven years, I have volunteered at a shelter walking dogs, caring for cats, leading volunteers, and some medical work. I have also previously held management positions at said shelter before leaving to prioritize school. I am well-versed in medication administration (oral, topical, and injection), participate in a pet vaccine and microchip administration clinic weekly, and am experienced in administering oral and subcutaneous fluids in triage cases. I have also been trained in tube feeding and have been doing so for about two years. I foster medically needy neonatal kittens, small rodents, and canine behavioral cases where I focus on socialization, as well as disabled animals. I currently have four dogs and four cats of my own, one of my dogs being a double amputee in a wheelchair and another requiring daily medication for chronic allergies. I shadowed a service dog trainer, Melissa Yank, for about six months and am fascinated by dog behavior, which is why I take on behavioral cases. I also attend canine behavior and enrichment classes and conferences often. I do not fear animals and while I am cautious, I am not one to quit over a bite or scratch. I have watched the pets of neighbors, sometimes for months at a time, and fellow shelter volunteers from times ranging from a couple of hours to two weeks, and they have left me with positive reviews. I have a deep love for animals, and above all else an appreciation for their specific needs and how they communicate with us in their own language. I would love to take on your pet, canine or feline, and love them like my own! I am a full time student. However, during the summer I am free 6 days a week, barring Saturday for the previously mentioned vaccination and microchip clinic. During the school year, I am available most weekends and mornings or evenings. I would be willing to implement your furry family member into my schedule however is necessary. I will not be caring for pets in my own home, but do have a fenced yard for my personal dogs and a catio which my cats enjoy in the afternoons. My dogs are friendly and well-socialized, though they know to communicate their boundaries. I will handle your pets with love and a gentle hand, putting their safety and comfort above all else. About: I've taken care of my friends' dogs for years and adopted my own puppy 3 years ago! I've learned a lot about dog training the past few years, including loose leash walking, clicker training, working on reactivity, recall training, and getting through the puppy and teenage phase! I am familiar with positive reinforcement training and balanced training and can help keep up any training you have been working on with your dog while I take care of them! I'm familiar with various collars - regular, prong, slip, gentle leaders, and harnesses. I'm currently taking a work hiatus from being a pharmacist! So I have flexible scheduling during the day & evenings to help take care of your pup! I'm typically at the ceramics studio on Fridays, but if you let me know 2 weeks in advance of the Friday you need me, I can make arrangements. I am here to help your pets feel as safe and happy as they can while you're away. Just let me know their normal routine (no matter how detailed) and I'm happy to keep it the same for them! I can help administer medications if needed, and can put together multi-step meals with toppers as well!

About: I have raised my dogs Mylo (12) and Pawnee (3) since they were 8 weeks old so I am very familiar with every stage from puppy to senior dog. I have also cared for family and friends' pets when they are out of town - this includes walking, feeding, training, bathing, and brushing their teeth. I believe enrichment, exercise, and proper health care for all dogs is so important so I can make sure your pet gets what he/she needs. One of my hobbies is also pet photography so I can take some adorable pictures of your dog for fun! I work remotely at home full-time so I have a flexible schedule to care for my own dogs as well as yours! We love to go on long walks and enjoy the fenced dog park which is conveniently located in my large apartment complex. If I have your dog on the weekend, I am happy to take them to the beach, on a hike, or just cuddle at home depending on their personality and your instructions! My home is clean, puppy-proofed ( you won’t have to worry about your pup eating anything he/she shouldn’t), and readily equipped with lots of great dog toys, treats, enrichment puzzles - you name it! I have two friendly dogs to keep your dog company so he/she will never be bored. I am also prepared to clean any potty accidents that may occur. If you prefer for your dog to be crated or to follow a certain schedule, I can certainly adhere to your preference! I have extra leashes, doggie bags, bowls, and other supplies so you won’t have to worry about forgetting anything. I’m also a hobby photographer so I’ll send some cute photos of your pups :) I work remotely full-time so I go on walks every 2-3 hours regularly. I have two dogs as well so having another furry friend around is great! 2023 Update: I will no longer be allowing people in my home during meet & greets and drop-offs due to personal reasons. About: I am so excited to rejoin Rover after a brief hiatus to focus on my education! I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember! After growing up with my family dog of 17 years, I’ve always been drawn to caring for animals. Through my childhood, I owned dogs, horses, and rabbits and I adopted a Puggle named Rocco in March of 2023. I’ve had experience caring for pets owned by family and friends for the past 8years.
