“Now, what do you do if you find out you need to evacuate your home for eight hours with a day's notice? I don't think most people plan for situations like this, and we tend to scramble for solutions when life introduces surprises like these smack dab in the middle of a normal week. I have two kittens that needed a place to stay while my apartment was suddenly worked on, and unsurprisingly, I had no idea where to start. It's not like I had much time either— only a handful of hours to plan something out. Thankfully, I stumbled onto Rover and eventually came across Jennie and Bennie. They responded to my inquiry within minutes and quickly scheduled an appointment for me to check out their cat suite the following evening. It was the best response time I've received from any service in recent history. The cat suite itself was incredibly impressive. Jennie and Bennie know exactly how to cater to cats of all types, from the overly sociable to those who prefer to keep to themselves. It didn't take long after meeting them I knew my kittens would be under great care here. Throughout the short stay, Jennie and Bennie provided me with pictures and videos of the kittens as they explored their new temporary home. There wasn't any reason to worry about how the kittens were adjusting because they sent me constant updates during the stay. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Jennie and Bennie are amazing people who know exactly how to care for cats. They've created a fantastic area for our feline friends, and I'd definitely book with them again.”

About: My dog Mr.Paisley is 20 years old & Buttercup is 3. I've been blessed to have paisley since he was just a puppy and I was still a kid. We grew up together & through that he has taught me lessons I will carry for rest of my life, like unconditional love, compassion, joy for the present moment & so much more. Buttercup I got as a puppy as well & she instantly brought so much life into our home. I trained her myself to follow commands like stay, lay sit, sit on her butt with paws up, potty training and so much more cool stuff we practice everyday. There's a lot of love between paisley & buttercup, despite the age difference its actual been complimentary to each of them and has made a nice balance in the environment we cultivated as a pack together with regular activities, playtime, rest & relaxing all part of our daily routines. I am currently in college taking fully online courses & I also have an audio production company that I run remotely from my home online, audio is also what I am in school for. So between these as my primary obligations with an occasional audio engineering gig I have plenty of time to give all the love, walks and attention any dog would need. It's mutually beneficial for me and the dogs because I love to be active and they simply give me joy. I have my home accommodated for dogs to live their best life. I have a fenced backyard with a long 30ft long dog run with trees and dirt on the side of my home, then the actual backyard has sun most of the daytime with places for them to lounge and shaded spots to be in the fresh air, there's also grass for them to do business and a small puppy pool for the dogs who like to splash around a bit and play. The inside of my home is big and open with the upstairs and front office already securely blocked with puppy gates installed so they can wander safely and to their hearts content. I have big low to the floor comfy couches the dogs are totally allowed to be on and a special area in my living room that's 10x10 feet that I dedicated as a play pen area with padded floors under and cozy washable potty matts so the dogs feel like they have their own personal space they can get in & out of & go to whenever they want. Mr.Paisley my 20 year old dog loves it. Because he's older now I have learned how to manage special diets and ive also gained a deep instinct to notice things that indicate to me to give extra love and attention, also to handle serious situations calmly and correctly. I have a sliding screen door that I installed a dog door on so the dogs have access to outside all day anytime they want. I go on about 8 walks a day, different lengths & different speeds depending on the dog and I love it. This is a happy, healthy home your dog will love to be apart of.

About: I grew up taking care of a Yorkshire Terrier for about 10 years, so I’m very familiar with long-term dog care and daily routines. After starting work, I also helped take care of my roommate’s cats for about a year, including a long-haired tabby, a golden chinchilla, and a Siamese cat. Through these experiences, I’ve learned how different pets can be in personality and needs. I’m comfortable with feeding, cleaning, basic care, and spending time with both active and more independent pets. Pet care fits around my work schedule. I’m usually up around 9am and available in the mornings, evenings, and nights for feeding, walks, and check-ins. I usually just follow whatever routine the pet is used to and try to keep things consistent for them. I always make sure doors, gates, and anything important are properly closed and checked. When I’m in someone’s home, I respect the space and keep things tidy. I don’t move things around unless needed. About: I am an English teacher and work online and I love dogs since my own dogs are back home and I barely get a chance to see them, dog walking and taking care of dogs makes me the happiest person. About: I’ve always been around animals and genuinely love them, especially Golden Retrievers. My friends and family trust me with their dogs because I actually enjoy spending time with them. I hang out with them, play with them, take them on walks, and make sure they get plenty of attention. I don’t personally have a dog at the moment because I travel from time to time, but dogs have always been a big part of my life. My wife has owned two dogs, and I’ve personally had cats, so I’m very comfortable around animals and caring for them. I’m patient, calm, and good at building trust, especially with pets who may need a little time to warm up. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me. I will personally be the one providing all care for any pets booked through my Rover profile. I’m available mornings and evenings for dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, and boarding. I enjoy spending real time with the pets I care for, whether that means going on walks, playing, hanging out, or just keeping them company. I’ll also keep you updated with pictures and messages so you know how they’re doing. Since I live in an apartment, the best fit would be a dog who is house trained, calm indoors, and comfortable using either the elevator or stairs. They should also be able to settle without excessive barking. I’m happy to spend plenty of time with them, play, go on walks, and keep them company. I just ask that they don’t have aggressive behavior, biting, frequent accidents, or destructive habits. A quick meet-and-greet beforehand would be great so we can make sure everyone feels comfortable and it’s a good fit.
