I have a GSP mix, so I’m comfortable with the wild and craziness, but also appreciate the contained craziness of smaller pups, like my sister’s pugs! I am also comfortable with administering medicine to pups, as I do this daily. I have lots of time during the day and in the evening to play, walk, and exercise the pups! About: I’ve had a love for animals from a very young age, especially dogs. I’ve helped my family take care of many dogs throughout the years and have also helped out friends/neighbors. In my life time, my immediate family has 4 dogs, a rottweiler, an unknown chihuahua mix, and 2 chihuahua/dachshund mix. The two chihuahua/dachshund mixes are still alive but they live in my childhood home where I no longer live but I still help take care of them when needed. I now have a dog of my own, he is a Golden Retriever and his name is Tucker. Tucker is the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet and he loves all people and animals. Although I have lots of experience with dogs, Tucker is the reason I know I would be a reliable and good choice for helping out with your animals. Tucker is the first dog I’ve ever had to take care of on my own and I think I’ve done a pretty good job. Tucker has also taught me to be responsible and dependable because unfortunately at just 6 months old he was diagnosed with sub aortic stenosis. If you don’t know what this is, it has to do with his heart, so it is not at all contagious! I wanted to include this because since he was diagnosed I’ve had to take extra good care of him and make sure he receives his medication twice a day. So I would also be a good choice if your dog is in need of medication. I hope you choose me to look after your animals! I’m currently a student-athlete who is available full-time because I have the summer completely off. I would be able to care for your pet any time of the day. This could include just dropping in to check on them, taking them on walks, going to the dog park, or staying with them over night. If you are in need of me watching your pet for multiple days, our days would include multiple walks a day and some dog park play if that is something you would want. I live in an apartment with a small balcony and a super friendly golden retriever. Although I don’t have a yard, your dog would still get lots of outside play! I often take my dog on a short walk every hour or so, and at least two longer walks every day. We also sometimes go to the dog park. I would be able to accommodate to any needs of your dog and will follow any rules or expectations given to me!

About: I've owned two giants who I had all their life. I've watched neighbors dogs from tiny to big. I genuinely love our barking buddies and I'll do anything to keep them happy. Lots of play, nice long walks with provisions, if medicine is needed I'm capable of giving it, all the attention, and loads of love. Pet care is my full time priority, for any type of care at my home. However, transportation for me to you can be a little inconsistent so I would need a little more time to prepare before taking care of your pet at your home. In my apartment there are plenty of trails nearby to give your friend lots and lots of exercise. Also simply walking around my complex for potty breaks. Feeding and walk schedule determined by you. Please inform me of any allergies or reactivity as there are lots of other dogs around the area.

About: I’ve been raised around animals of all kinds since I can remember, my mother regularly raised foster kittens and we had foster dogs constantly in and out of the house. I currently still foster dogs and kittens on my own and am the go to sitter for all my friends and family. Spent years volunteering at shelters and rescues and also worked at a pet store for over a year. Also lover of small critters being a mom of fish, frogs, a hamster, and a spider. About: I’ve either owned or lived with a pet almost my entire life! I’ve also been a pet sitter for friends and family for around a decade. I’ve had multiple family dogs and I’ve dog sat extensively too. A variety of sizes, breeds, and ages. I’ve cared for senior dogs with special needs and administering pills before too. I work full time but am only in office Tuesdays and Thursdays in Huntington Beach. I am only available to check in on pets before 8:30am and after 5pm for those days. Otherwise, I work from home and have much more flexibility for check-ins on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I don’t work on the weekends so I am open then as well. I am very responsible when it comes to caring for pets in their own home and for walks! I make sure to complete each necessary step for their care and ask questions to pet parents if necessary. If I sense any discomfort, I immediately try to address it in the most appropriate way, whether it be cuddles or space to decompress. I will never take your dog to the dog park and I will closely monitor any interactions with dogs during walks (if you have any concerns please let me know). I have volunteered at the Dane County Humane Society as an Adoption Counselor while in college, so I have undergone behavior training for many aspects of dog care.
