About: I have always cared for pets and am a sincere lover of animals. Growing up, my family would foster shelter dogs so I am used to interacting with different dog personalities and breeds. Professionally, I have been a pet sitter for all kinds of pets for 5 years and 3 years on Rover. I have experience working with senior pets, pets with health conditions, and pets with special needs or behavioral challenges. I have received positive feedback that I get along well with even the most skittish or antisocial animals! I have a very calm and patient demeanor and can easily build trust with animals. Safety and wellbeing are my top priority, which is why I am certified in pet CPR and First Aid. I am also currently working on certification for pet training. About: I’ve been raised around animals of all kinds since I can remember, my mother regularly raised foster kittens and we had foster dogs constantly in and out of the house. I currently still foster dogs and kittens on my own and am the go to sitter for all my friends and family. Spent years volunteering at shelters and rescues and also worked at a pet store for over a year. Also lover of small critters being a mom of fish, frogs, a hamster, and a spider. I currently work from home selling artwork and crafts so I’m very flexible with my schedule. I can stay all day or even over night and make sure to keep your pet company. I’m an avid hiker so I’d be more than happy to take your dog for a long hike (with permission obviously) or shorter walks around the neighborhood. I would only need to leave for short errands and to feed my own pets if my partner is unable to do so, but majority of time is dedicated to your Pets in your home. I’ve worked with animals of all ages and personalities and can accommodate any special needs your pet may have. If they are shy and need time to warm up, I will do all I can to gain their trust. If they need specialty food or medication, I have my own cats on a strict medication schedule so I’m more than used to it. If they are high energy and need lots of exercise I will make sure to get them up and running around as much as they need. I just want to make sure their lives are just as comfortable as when you are home with them.

About: I've taken care of my friends' dogs for years and adopted my own puppy 3 years ago! I've learned a lot about dog training the past few years, including loose leash walking, clicker training, working on reactivity, recall training, and getting through the puppy and teenage phase! I am familiar with positive reinforcement training and balanced training and can help keep up any training you have been working on with your dog while I take care of them! I'm familiar with various collars - regular, prong, slip, gentle leaders, and harnesses. I'm currently taking a work hiatus from being a pharmacist! So I have flexible scheduling during the day & evenings to help take care of your pup! I'm typically at the ceramics studio on Fridays, but if you let me know 2 weeks in advance of the Friday you need me, I can make arrangements. I am here to help your pets feel as safe and happy as they can while you're away. Just let me know their normal routine (no matter how detailed) and I'm happy to keep it the same for them! I can help administer medications if needed, and can put together multi-step meals with toppers as well!

About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember! I am constantly around animals and having to commit myself to taking care of them. When in your home, I would love to take your fur babies for walks, to dog parks, anything you already do with them to make them the most comfortable! I keep dogs on a leash, unless instructed otherwise, stay aware of my surroundings and avoid unsafe situations. I also make sure to treat every client’s home with respect and make sure the pets are comfortable.

About: Hi, I'm Amyra! 😊 Animals are my pride and joy. I have done numerous amounts of professional and volunteer work with animals including horses. I've worked with dogs of all sizes, and of many different backgrounds. With that being said, I have some experience with aggressive and reactive dogs as well. Winning an anxious dog over is my specialty. I'm very good with puppies and kittens, and to be honest, I tend to baby any animal regardless of how old they are. I have worked with sick dogs who frequently needed to be groomed and cleaned up due to medical issues. I've worked with many blind and deaf dogs as well. I have worked with cats very closely at multiple animal shelters. I also have experience with special needs cats with cerebellar hypoplasia which is much like the cat equivalent of cerebral palsy. So if your pet has any special needs, there will never be an issue. I'm very flexible, I have a great love for animals, and I can provide you with the best quality of care for your pets who I like to refer to as "fur babies" seeing as they're practically family members. Also, my boyfriend who has a Rover account as well often splits bookings with me when we get busy, so if it ever says I'm booked you may still reach out for him! We are both certified and trained in Pet First Aid by the American Red Cross. Additionally, he has landscaping experience and I have housekeeping & organizing experience so if you need your house cleaned, plants watered, or lawn mowed for longer stays we provide that as well. We have also taken care of our client's pools for longer stays, so you can rest assured that your home will be in perfect condition from every aspect when you return from your trip. I work remotely as a paralegal so I have plenty of time on my hands to spend with your pups! I'll treat your pets like they're my own and provide them with the most love.
