About: I’m confident your baby won’t miss mommy and daddy while in my care. We’ll spend quality time walking, running, and hiking as much as they’d like, plus plenty of cuddles in between. We can do this as my partner and I both work from home. I know exactly how hard it is to leave a pet behind, so I make sure every pet parent gets regular updates and cute photos to ease separation anxiety (I have one with my pets😉🤣). I’m also a skilled photographer, so you’ll get great shots of your baby having a blast. I’m a huge animal lover, the kind whose feed is entirely animals, including species some people find intimidating. I’ve had all kinds of pets over the years, and every one of them outlived its expected lifespan under my care. I’ve looked after family and friends’ dogs since I was a kid, and for the past several years I’ve spent a month annually caring for my aunt’s elderly dog, who is deaf and blind and only trusts me with her care. Since I’m almost always home and only leave to exercise, I can play and cuddle with your pet all day long. Being athletic myself and having easy access to great trails and walking routes nearby makes me an ideal dog walker. My partner, a former tennis player, is also an expert at fetch at the park right next to us. I work from home and barely go out because I am a homebody who loves cuddling and playing with animals all day. I love running and walking near my place and can do it as much as needed. My place is a third-floor townhome plan, and it’s 1,500 sq ft. I don’t leave my place except to work out or for special occasions. (This will be communicated to you before booking.) We have three cats at home who are shy but sweet and wouldn’t ever bother the dog. They are all fully vaccinated, including rabies. We have many hiking trails, beach walks, and parks near our place, so we can go to entertain the dogs as much as they want:) If you allow us, we can take the baby for a beach day too!😉

About: I have had pets for my entire life (and that's a long time). I have been fostering puppies/dogs and kittens/cats for the last several years. I am now a newly empty nest Mom with a very quiet house. In all my years having family pets, like you are now, I always found a private sitter to care for my animals while I was away. I believe pets are not meant to be boarded if it can be avoided. I am a newly empty nest, stay at home Mom with lots of time, energy and space to care for puppies/dogs and kittens/cats. We have a large, two story home with a fully fenced back yard and side pet door that leads to a fully enclosed run. About: I have grown up with dogs as my best friends. There is nothing I love more than cuddling and playing with dogs of all shapes and sizes! I have had a golden doodle for 12 years, taught her to be a therapy dog, and compete in dog shows. About: I am an animal lover! I have dog, cat, and even duck sat for friends. I fostered kittens and puppies for two years during the pandemic and I have two cats of my own. I am a PhD student at UCI and want to have a good work-life balance. I attend classes on campus, but have a pretty flexible schedule. Animals have always brought me lots of joy, so I would love to spend my free time caring for pets. Safety is important to me as I have had roommates who’ve let my cat outside and sitters that left my cat traumatized. My pets mean everything to me and I know yours mean everything to you! Keeping them safe is my number one priority. I am an attentive sitter and will send photos, updating you on your pets.

I grew up with two Old English Sheepdogs and a Yorkie, and these days you’ll usually find me with my six-year-old Poodle, Brady. About: I’ve always loved dogs - so much that I started my own dog walking business when I was 8. I’ve handled every size dog and all sorts of personalities. I love to connect with dogs and cats and meet more than their needs because they are more than just pets. I’m currently a shift lead at Starbucks and primarily work early morning. I have plenty of time during the day to care for your pup into the evening - or overnight. I am always respectful in other people’s homes and love checklists/notes. In my home there is a spacious living room and patio that they can chill in, as well as being welcomed anywhere. Pets are welcome on furniture as I like to clean often anyway. I live close to a trail and dog park for frequent potty breaks and stimulation. There is enough room in the home for a large crate if your dog needs one. Potty messes are no big deal as I’ve been cleaning them for years for clients.

About: Hi, I'm Amyra! 😊 Animals are my pride and joy. I have done numerous amounts of professional and volunteer work with animals including horses. I've worked with dogs of all sizes, and of many different backgrounds. With that being said, I have some experience with aggressive and reactive dogs as well. Winning an anxious dog over is my specialty. I'm very good with puppies and kittens, and to be honest, I tend to baby any animal regardless of how old they are. I have worked with sick dogs who frequently needed to be groomed and cleaned up due to medical issues. I've worked with many blind and deaf dogs as well. I have worked with cats very closely at multiple animal shelters. I also have experience with special needs cats with cerebellar hypoplasia which is much like the cat equivalent of cerebral palsy. So if your pet has any special needs, there will never be an issue. I'm very flexible, I have a great love for animals, and I can provide you with the best quality of care for your pets who I like to refer to as "fur babies" seeing as they're practically family members. Also, my boyfriend who has a Rover account as well often splits bookings with me when we get busy, so if it ever says I'm booked you may still reach out for him! We are both certified and trained in Pet First Aid by the American Red Cross. Additionally, he has landscaping experience and I have housekeeping & organizing experience so if you need your house cleaned, plants watered, or lawn mowed for longer stays we provide that as well.
