About: Hello! And welcome to my page! I go by CeCe! I am grown and raised in beautiful sunny Santa Barbara! I now reside in the lovely sunny Orange County! I’ve been around animals all my life. From my mom having the best border collie when I was a baby, to us having two cats, a bunny, and at least one parakeet in an apartment that i grew up in during most of my childhood to teen years. It was even my dream to get a job working at my local zoo as an actor, which eventually came true. All so I could be surrounded by animals, and say I worked with Dinosaurs too (I even acted with them)! When I moved out of my childhood home I unfortunately could only find affordable places to live that didn’t allow animals. That’s how I got into dog sitting! I loved being around animals and helping others take care of their fluffy family members. I now live with my significant other whose family cat is king of the house. I still enjoy walking dogs and house sitting. I do, unfortunately, work a 9 to 5 office job Monday to Friday (actually 8 to 4) to pay the bills. Because of this my rates reflect that. I wish I could pet sit all the time but for now this is my second job. I will treat your house as my own with a cleanly manner. I have my own form of transportation in the form of a vehicle with four wheels so any adventurous pups I am able to accommodate! I work an 8hr office job Monday to Friday. Sometimes a Saturday or Sunday if I happened to miss a day during the week due to life. It is adjustable and willing to accommodate with enough prior notice. Any lunch drop ins will need to be discussed. Because of previous experiences drop ins will need to be agreed upon by both parties and throughly planned. I am uncomfortable with cameras inside the home that are not made aware of during meet and greet. I am okay with cameras outside the home and understand the safety concerns of having them. I do not abide by using them to track movements of caregivers. I have an office job Monday to Friday, sometimes I have to make up hours on a weekend day because of other adult responsibilities during the week coinciding with other adult responsibilities such as work. I typically work 8hrs with a lunch break that can be up to an hour. I also have a partner and a home to help run. I have errands to take care of after work and on days off, like weekends. That being said I will do everything in my power to put your pet first, but I will not ignore my health.

About: I’ve been raised around animals of all kinds since I can remember, my mother regularly raised foster kittens and we had foster dogs constantly in and out of the house. I currently still foster dogs and kittens on my own and am the go to sitter for all my friends and family. Spent years volunteering at shelters and rescues and also worked at a pet store for over a year. Also lover of small critters being a mom of fish, frogs, a hamster, and a spider. I currently work from home selling artwork and crafts so I’m very flexible with my schedule. I can stay all day or even over night and make sure to keep your pet company. I’m an avid hiker so I’d be more than happy to take your dog for a long hike (with permission obviously) or shorter walks around the neighborhood. I would only need to leave for short errands and to feed my own pets if my partner is unable to do so, but majority of time is dedicated to your Pets in your home. I’ve worked with animals of all ages and personalities and can accommodate any special needs your pet may have. If they are shy and need time to warm up, I will do all I can to gain their trust. If they need specialty food or medication, I have my own cats on a strict medication schedule so I’m more than used to it. If they are high energy and need lots of exercise I will make sure to get them up and running around as much as they need. I just want to make sure their lives are just as comfortable as when you are home with them.

I'm familiar with various collars - regular, prong, slip, gentle leaders, and harnesses. I'm currently taking a work hiatus from being a pharmacist! So I have flexible scheduling during the day & evenings to help take care of your pup! I'm typically at the ceramics studio on Fridays, but if you let me know 2 weeks in advance of the Friday you need me, I can make arrangements. Now, I have my own little dog whom I rescued from the shelter. I appreciate that all animals have their own unique personalities and quirks. I work remotely and can give your pet child all the attention they need. I am happy to prep their food and accommodate them while you are away. I have a pet stroller and pet carriers to use as needed. For boarding your dog child, I take my dog on walks throughout the day and once before bedtime, and I will take your dog as well. They are allowed on the sofa and I have multiple dog beds throughout the home. I currently work remotely so I will can give your dog child all the attention it needs while they adjust. I will treat your dog child like I do my own. Typically, I walk my dog throughout the day and once before bedtime to make sure they don’t feel any discomfort. I tailor my care for your pup, so if your pup loves to sleep I will happily give them the time and space to. If your dog loves walking then I make sure to take them on walks. I have pet carriers, a pet stroller, and dog car seats in my car to use as needed. I will send you photos throughout the day or as often as you request. I take their safety very seriously. If I sense any discomfort, I immediately try to address it in the most appropriate way, whether it be cuddles or space to decompress. I will never take your dog to the dog park and I will closely monitor any interactions with dogs during walks (if you have any concerns please let me know). I always leave water out for them and make sure they are fed according to their food schedule. I will attach an Apple ID tag to them for GPS. For dog boarding, since I have a small 12 lb chihuahua poodle mix, I kindly request meeting in a nearby park first so we can check that the pups will get along before taking them to my home. This is for everyone’s safety.

More specifically I started taking on more responsibilities in pet care when I turned 8. Taking my dog on daily walks, feeding everyday, and picking up their waste in the backyard after I came home from school. Now that I’ve grown up, I have a cat named Georgie which I have learned to care for the last year I’ve had him. Whether it’s a dog or a cat, I am happy to treat them like you would when you can’t. I am currently working remotely. I live in a very walkable neighborhood, and with a park nearby for walks, giving me quick and easy access to always be available to let your furry friend out. I have experience with all dog sizes, but I prefer to work with medium to small dogs. If boarding in my own home, I have a cat who is fine with dogs. He tends to keep to himself when around dogs and won’t attack. I’m currently working from home so I have a lot of free time in between applications to play with your furbaby all the time.
