Safety, trust & environment
I'm a detail-oriented person who prioritizes your pet’s well-being while treating your home with care and respect. I follow instructions closely—whether it’s feeding schedules, administering medications, or any other special needs. I’m also careful with home entry and exit routines, checking that doors are locked, alarms are set (if applicable), and your pet is secure before I leave for the day.
Information Brooke B. would like to know about your pet
I know every pet has their quirks—just like us people! Please feel free to share anything you think would help me keep your pet as happy and healthy as can be. Some basics that are especially helpful for me to know include: -Any medical conditions, allergies, or medications -Feeding or potty routines -Leash behavior (do they pull or react to other dogs?) -Whether your dog enjoys meeting other dogs—or if we should cross the street during walks -Specific entry/exit instructions or parking info -Where supplies are located (leash, poop bags, treats, etc.) -Your pet’s likes, dislikes, and any fears or sensitivities
A typical day
For dog walks, I’ll come in, greet your pup and get them all leashed up, and head out for a nice walk—usually around the neighborhood. If your dog needs anything else—like lunch, medication, a stuffed Kong, or a little help getting ready for the weather—I’ll make sure to take care of that too!

Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Brooke! I’ve been caring for pets through Rover since 2017. In addition to years of professional and personal experience, I’ve volunteered at the Humane Society of Huron Valley, the Ingham County Animal Shelter, Oakland County Animal Shelter, and worked as a Canine Breeding Assistant with Leader Dogs for the Blind. My most recent job was working as a Cat Hotel Attendant at a cat boarding and grooming facility. I have experience with cats and dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I am passionate about pet care, and I love getting to know the unique personality and habits of each animal I meet. As a pet parent myself (to one charismatic cat, Laszlo, and one spunky dog, Ruby), I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your furry family member. I’ll treat your dog or cat like my own—with attention to their unique needs and lots of love. I look forward to getting the chance to care for the special animal in your life!

Reviews

Brooke did a fantastic job walking my golden retriever Ziggy while I was recovering from surgery. His excitement upon her arrival each day let me know how happy he was to see her. Would highly recommend Brooke as she is reliable and trustworthy!

Brooke does a great job walking my golden retriever. Ziggy looks forward to her arrival and comes home happy and tired.

Brooke is the best. She is punctual and meticulous to detail to ensure our large dog has a great time on his walk. Brooke went above and beyond our expectations. Highly recommend her for dependability and care.

Brooke is sweet and knowledgeable! We’re definitely rebooking and appreciate her flexibility with my stubborn boy
