About: I grew up with a dog and learned how to care for and raise him from a young age. He lived a long life and passed away in my arms at 17, which taught me how deeply pets become part of the family. Later, when I became a parent myself, we brought two dogs into our home right away. One of them had a congenital condition, and for 10 years we cared for him very attentively, making sure he lived a happy and comfortable life. This gave me strong experience not only in daily care, but also in supporting dogs with medical needs. Now our second dog has lost his companion, and I came to Rover to be helpful to other families and their pets. I structure my day around the dogs — regular walks, feeding, playtime, and rest. We go on daily walks in safe and pleasant areas nearby. There is also a dog park where your dog can play off-leash if you are comfortable with that, as well as many walking trails for longer, relaxed walks. I always adjust the activity level to your dog’s needs and personality. I also provide regular updates with photos and videos so you can feel comfortable while you’re away. We live in a bright, spacious apartment where your dog will feel comfortable and safe. I accept one dog at a time, or two dogs from the same family, so each pet can receive plenty of attention and care. My child is 16 years old and has a great understanding of how to interact with animals respectfully and calmly. You can leave all your instructions, preferences, and schedules — I will follow them carefully to make sure your dog feels at home and stays in their usual routine.

About: I've taken care of my friends' dogs for years and adopted my own puppy 3 years ago! I've learned a lot about dog training the past few years, including loose leash walking, clicker training, working on reactivity, recall training, and getting through the puppy and teenage phase! I am familiar with positive reinforcement training and balanced training and can help keep up any training you have been working on with your dog while I take care of them! I'm familiar with various collars - regular, prong, slip, gentle leaders, and harnesses. I'm currently taking a work hiatus from being a pharmacist! So I have flexible scheduling during the day & evenings to help take care of your pup! I'm typically at the ceramics studio on Fridays, but if you let me know 2 weeks in advance of the Friday you need me, I can make arrangements. I am here to help your pets feel as safe and happy as they can while you're away. Just let me know their normal routine (no matter how detailed) and I'm happy to keep it the same for them! I can help administer medications if needed, and can put together multi-step meals with toppers as well!

About: I have been a pet-sitter for a variety of dogs and fostered and adopted my two pups. I enjoy dogs of all sizes and have experience giving medicine while pet-sitting. I am patient with puppies (I love the early training phase and can work on commands with them) and enjoy long walks with pups who like to be outside (and fetch playtime with those who don’t!). I currently work from home, so I have time to give attention to your pup and walks during the day. I am also available most weekends and can play fetch, give belly rubs, and take long walks as preferred! I have two pups who love to play with other dogs if they stay in my home. We LOVE dogs, all sizes, all breeds, all personalities, and we’d love to meet and care for yours! I personally have 3 years of veterinary assistant experience, so I am no stranger to proper and safe dog handling, especially in times of emergencies. I currently work fully remote as an HR Specialist at a medical device company, so I will be home all day to watch your furry friend. We live on the second floor with a balcony, and our community has a lot of beautiful green belts and walking trails nearby (your pup will have LOTS of fun). We also have a dog park inside the community, too! Our friends and family consider us their designated dogsitter because we just love dogs so much! We are native to Orange County and are serving clients within OC. We are very much looking forward to hosting your pup(s)! Pet care is second nature to me. I feed my dog twice a day and relieve her at least 5 times a day (2 of which are 30 minute walks or park time). I also wipe my dog’s paws every time after she goes outside. Dog walking: I keep them close on a short leash to ensure their safety, and we will always walk on the sidewalk. Dog boarding: My priority is to make your dog feel at home, safe, loved, and happy.
