About: I've taken care of my friends' dogs for years and adopted my own puppy 3 years ago! I've learned a lot about dog training the past few years, including loose leash walking, clicker training, working on reactivity, recall training, and getting through the puppy and teenage phase! I am familiar with positive reinforcement training and balanced training and can help keep up any training you have been working on with your dog while I take care of them! I'm familiar with various collars - regular, prong, slip, gentle leaders, and harnesses. I'm currently taking a work hiatus from being a pharmacist! So I have flexible scheduling during the day & evenings to help take care of your pup! I'm typically at the ceramics studio on Fridays, but if you let me know 2 weeks in advance of the Friday you need me, I can make arrangements. I am here to help your pets feel as safe and happy as they can while you're away. Just let me know their normal routine (no matter how detailed) and I'm happy to keep it the same for them! I can help administer medications if needed, and can put together multi-step meals with toppers as well!

About: The last 5 years I have been taking care of all variety’s of dogs! Young and old to small and large! I love keeping the pets engaged and give them the best experience away from their normal routines. I work part time 5 days a week so I have a variety of time available for doggy care. I also have a foster dog I care for at home every day. I try to keep the pets regular routine if I am at my place or the clients. Making sure the pet keeps to required schedules or enjoy relaxing when nothing is going on.

“Maryam was available for a last-minute booking, which I appreciated, and communication was good. She was responsive, followed instructions, and my dog was fed and cared for during the visits. However, I observed access to areas of my home that were not necessary for my dog's care, including opening doors and the refrigerator, which made me uncomfortable. I also noticed that a significant portion of some visits appeared to be spent on her phone rather than actively walking or engaging with my dog. During one 30-minute drop-in, approximately 10 minutes appeared to be spent on the phone. While the booking was completed and my dog was cared for, these concerns would make me a little hesitant to book again.”

About: I am both friendly and respectable to animals. Ive had the privilege to live with my families Lhasa apso for 12 years, so I am qualified with the basic necessities to care for any 4 legged friend. I am currently flexible with my time, so scheduling anything at the last minute is fine by me. I spend most of my time at a art studio with plenty of room and is pet friendly. I would to be aware of any medical or special needs that your pet my have before any hand off. If you need to drop off your dog with me, I have a studio space with plenty of room for any dog to run around.

About: I have raised my dogs Mylo (12) and Pawnee (3) since they were 8 weeks old so I am very familiar with every stage from puppy to senior dog. I have also cared for family and friends' pets when they are out of town - this includes walking, feeding, training, bathing, and brushing their teeth. I believe enrichment, exercise, and proper health care for all dogs is so important so I can make sure your pet gets what he/she needs. One of my hobbies is also pet photography so I can take some adorable pictures of your dog for fun! I work remotely at home full-time so I have a flexible schedule to care for my own dogs as well as yours! We love to go on long walks and enjoy the fenced dog park which is conveniently located in my large apartment complex. If I have your dog on the weekend, I am happy to take them to the beach, on a hike, or just cuddle at home depending on their personality and your instructions! My home is clean, puppy-proofed ( you won’t have to worry about your pup eating anything he/she shouldn’t), and readily equipped with lots of great dog toys, treats, enrichment puzzles - you name it! I have two friendly dogs to keep your dog company so he/she will never be bored. I am also prepared to clean any potty accidents that may occur. If you prefer for your dog to be crated or to follow a certain schedule, I can certainly adhere to your preference! I have extra leashes, doggie bags, bowls, and other supplies so you won’t have to worry about forgetting anything. I’m also a hobby photographer so I’ll send some cute photos of your pups :) I work remotely full-time so I go on walks every 2-3 hours regularly. I have two dogs as well so having another furry friend around is great! 2023 Update: I will no longer be allowing people in my home during meet & greets and drop-offs due to personal reasons. I am happy to send photos and videos of my living space.

About: I am so excited to rejoin Rover after a brief hiatus to focus on my education! I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember! After growing up with my family dog of 17 years, I’ve always been drawn to caring for animals. Through my childhood, I owned dogs, horses, and rabbits and I adopted a Puggle named Rocco in March of 2023. I’ve had experience caring for pets owned by family and friends for the past 8years. I am comfortable feeding, walking, playing, bathing, and administering medication to dogs of all ages and breeds. I’ve raised a puppy of my own during COVID which was humbling but extremely rewarding as he is truly the best boy and now my best friend. I’ve been around dogs of all ages all my life and understand that each dog is different, each with their own personality, just like us humans. I have the patience it takes to understand dogs and know that it’s not always easy for them to express themselves, body language being a huge thing I look at. Owning an orange tabbycat of my own, I also have experience with understanding a cat’s needs and although they can be more skiddish, they seek and deserve just as much care and attention. As a pet parent, I always check that risky items are stored away so that there’s less room for error, that there’s always access to food and water (unless instructed otherwise of course!) and that fun toys are in reach!

I currently have my own chihuahua mix puppy, Crouton, who I’ve adopted from Pets in Need in Redwood City. He’s the cutest little guy! I truly love all animals!
