About: I've taken care of my friends' dogs for years and adopted my own puppy 3 years ago! I've learned a lot about dog training the past few years, including loose leash walking, clicker training, working on reactivity, recall training, and getting through the puppy and teenage phase! I am familiar with positive reinforcement training and balanced training and can help keep up any training you have been working on with your dog while I take care of them! I'm familiar with various collars - regular, prong, slip, gentle leaders, and harnesses. I'm currently taking a work hiatus from being a pharmacist! So I have flexible scheduling during the day & evenings to help take care of your pup! I'm typically at the ceramics studio on Fridays, but if you let me know 2 weeks in advance of the Friday you need me, I can make arrangements. I am here to help your pets feel as safe and happy as they can while you're away. Just let me know their normal routine (no matter how detailed) and I'm happy to keep it the same for them! I can help administer medications if needed, and can put together multi-step meals with toppers as well!

About: I’ve owned dogs for most of my life. I connect with animals deeply and love spending time with them! I have cared overnight for dogs before, and have done drop-in visits for cats before. I have volunteered with various animal rescue organizations including the SBWCN, Santa Barbara Humane, and Animal Rescue España, at which time I was able to care for wild animals and traumatized dogs. I have learned things from various trainers that I have used to train my own dog, although I by no means have the qualifications to be considered a “dog trainer.” I will always treat your pets and households with respect and care! I’m offering walks, drop-ins, and overnight services full-time for the months of December and January while I am on a break from school! I understand that all pets have different needs. If your dog thrives with cuddles and short bouts of play time, that is what I will provide. If your dog wants to go for a half hour run followed by an hour long walk and chasing a ball, that is what I will provide. My goal is for your pet to be happy and well taken care of by the time you get home.
