About: I’ve always been around animals and genuinely love them, especially Golden Retrievers. My friends and family trust me with their dogs because I actually enjoy spending time with them. I hang out with them, play with them, take them on walks, and make sure they get plenty of attention. I don’t personally have a dog at the moment because I travel from time to time, but dogs have always been a big part of my life. My wife has owned two dogs, and I’ve personally had cats, so I’m very comfortable around animals and caring for them. I’m patient, calm, and good at building trust, especially with pets who may need a little time to warm up. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me. I will personally be the one providing all care for any pets booked through my Rover profile. I’m available mornings and evenings for dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, and boarding. I enjoy spending real time with the pets I care for, whether that means going on walks, playing, hanging out, or just keeping them company. I’ll also keep you updated with pictures and messages so you know how they’re doing. Since I live in an apartment, the best fit would be a dog who is house trained, calm indoors, and comfortable using either the elevator or stairs. They should also be able to settle without excessive barking. I’m happy to spend plenty of time with them, play, go on walks, and keep them company. I just ask that they don’t have aggressive behavior, biting, frequent accidents, or destructive habits. A quick meet-and-greet beforehand would be great so we can make sure everyone feels comfortable and it’s a good fit.

Before the sit, Banafshe was courteous and timely in replying to our handful of messages with questions. She was gracious enough to allow us to bring Huxley over for a quick meetup with her and her lovely family), before the scheduled stay. Banafshe followed up with us the day of to confirm what time we would be dropping Huxley off. Unexpectedly, our pup had a tooth pulled prior to the boarding, and Banafshe was very helpful in ensuring Huxley received his medication (in his food). Throughout the time of the boarding she provided thoughtful updates and photos and was very responsive. She checked in with us to confirm when we would be picking up Huxley and made sure his items we left with her, were in his bag. 10/10. “Pauline responded to my dog walking inquiry and to all messages quickly. She proactively offered to reach out to Rover when my initial care instructions weren’t visible on my dog’s profile. She came on time, walked my dog for a full 30 minutes, gave her some treats, wiped the paws as requested, and locked the door. Her description of the walk was thorough. The only improvement would have been to leave on one of the down stair lights after leaving as requested in the care instructions.”

About: Hello! My name is Megan. I live with my 2 year old golden retriever, Matcha, and my fiance, Zack, in our spacious apartment in Irvine. We LOVE dogs, all sizes, all breeds, all personalities, and we’d love to meet and care for yours! I personally have 3 years of veterinary assistant experience, so I am no stranger to proper and safe dog handling, especially in times of emergencies. I currently work fully remote as an HR Specialist at a medical device company, so I will be home all day to watch your furry friend. We live on the second floor with a balcony, and our community has a lot of beautiful green belts and walking trails nearby (your pup will have LOTS of fun). We also have a dog park inside the community, too! Our friends and family consider us their designated dogsitter because we just love dogs so much! We are native to Orange County and are serving clients within OC. We are very much looking forward to hosting your pup(s)! Pet care is second nature to me. I feed my dog twice a day and relieve her at least 5 times a day (2 of which are 30 minute walks or park time). I also wipe my dog’s paws every time after she goes outside. Dog walking: I keep them close on a short leash to ensure their safety, and we will always walk on the sidewalk. Dog boarding: My priority is to make your dog feel at home, safe, loved, and happy. About: I’ve always been around animals and genuinely love them, especially Golden Retrievers. My friends and family trust me with their dogs because I actually enjoy spending time with them. I hang out with them, play with them, take them on walks, and make sure they get plenty of attention. I don’t personally have a dog at the moment because I travel from time to time, but dogs have always been a big part of my life. My wife has owned two dogs, and I’ve personally had cats, so I’m very comfortable around animals and caring for them. I’m patient, calm, and good at building trust, especially with pets who may need a little time to warm up. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me. I will personally be the one providing all care for any pets booked through my Rover profile. I’m available mornings and evenings for dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, and boarding. I enjoy spending real time with the pets I care for, whether that means going on walks, playing, hanging out, or just keeping them company. I’ll also keep you updated with pictures and messages so you know how they’re doing. Since I live in an apartment, the best fit would be a dog who is house trained, calm indoors, and comfortable using either the elevator or stairs. They should also be able to settle without excessive barking. I’m happy to spend plenty of time with them, play, go on walks, and keep them company. I just ask that they don’t have aggressive behavior, biting, frequent accidents, or destructive habits. A quick meet-and-greet beforehand would be great so we can make sure everyone feels comfortable and it’s a good fit.
“My wife and I booked with Banafshe for a long weekend trip, after our go-to dog sitter was unavailable. We are happy we did. Before the sit, Banafshe was courteous and timely in replying to our handful of messages with questions. She was gracious enough to allow us to bring Huxley over for a quick meetup with her and her lovely family), before the scheduled stay. Banafshe followed up with us the day of to confirm what time we would be dropping Huxley off. Unexpectedly, our pup had a tooth pulled prior to the boarding, and Banafshe was very helpful in ensuring Huxley received his medication (in his food). Throughout the time of the boarding she provided thoughtful updates and photos and was very responsive. She checked in with us to confirm when we would be picking up Huxley and made sure his items we left with her, were in his bag. 10/10. “This was our very first time leaving Bear with anyone for any amount of time; whether minutes, hours, much less days. And we needed to leave him for 3 nights! We knew this was going to be a BIG DEAL for him AND US. We were so stressed and anxious because we knew Bear will be wondering what is happening, why is his owners leaving him with someone else, etc. We searched and searched on Rover. We went to several meet & greets (M&G). Bear already knew something was up coz he was howling his head off every time we were in the car heading to another M&G. We got referred by another Rover sitter to Rommel since she also had left her dogs with him. Our M&G with Rommel was great. He was very confident & comfortable handing Bear for the very first time and they proceeded to go for a walk. We decided to go with Rommel. I had to give Rommel detailed instructions since Bear is an EPI dog and needs to take his meds. In addition to his other quirks. During Bear's stay with him, Rommel sent videos every day and a note on how Bear is doing. We were so relieved and happy that Bear was doing well. Rommel was also very responsive and prompt when we asked him questions. Thanks so much for welcoming Bear into your family, Rommel!
